i never thought like this,u r right,arnav kidnapped by his family rival makes sense,
seeing the precap carefully the person who messaged khushi had worn the suit much same as arnav,so one thing clear that he is not poor,may be he must be related to arnav and anjali 's past like arnav's uncle side whom arnav bought the shesh mahal
in order to take revenge he must b doing this
as u said arnav will return with a past

i highly doubt that shyam kidnapped arnav bcz he already got the papers signed ,it does not really take time for him to kill arnav and anjali also can't bear this news as she loves arnav a lot and something would have happened to her also,then that creep can get arnav's property as well as khushi(this can never happen) according to him,so highly impossible
