My post was getting too long, I had so much to say😆 but after reading many of the posts the common theme was Khushi's hurt, heartbreak wasn't portrayed well...
For me, today it wasn't about Khushi's heartbreak. It was more about shock, disappointment and eventually that turned into anger. To understand her state of mind; I really had to put myself in her shoes. For months she wanted to hear what the reason was & she wasn't getting one. And when she got one, she didn't expect him to have such a low opinion of her. Ouch, that must really hurt... Shouldn't Shyam be held to the same standards if not higher?
Khushi is all about values. She was hired to train La on Indian values and tradition. This accusation coming from ASR was at the heart of her values. She was aghast at the arrogance of this man, who had the gall to throw away the stars she revered as her dead parents & she has expressed it to him on more than 1 occasion. After the initial hurt she gathers herself up.
She is still tied to him for another 3 months but she had made up her mind she wasn't going to let him see her hurt. When she shed tears he had a problem, when she didn't he has a problem too?😕 Damned if you do, damned if you don't? She wanted to give him an in your face kind of attitude; in addition she didn't want her folks to get a sense either. Garima asked on couple of occasions but Khushi just sshed her...
She ignores the "aur Shyam" jab...She wants to do nothing with him...She will finish her contract & walk away. She is determined not to give any safai...But he pushes her over the edge with a totally uncalled jab on her parents...Would any girl appreciate it if someone said "TG, your parents are not alive to see you luring a married man"; no matter how character dheela she is...Rightfully, she is angry...
The hurt may never come cause now she feels empowered with this new information. Her only fault is hiding it. She may well try to clear her name & then walk away instead of crying buckets...But being in her shoes; if a man had accused me of having an affair after knowing me for so many months; I would be livid too...He doesn't deserve anything more than indifference & she pulled that off beautifully...👏
First of all, Handsomeji saying, you don't have *a* character?! That was soo jarring. Kya Kookieji ek tweet hain? Harvard Business School ko bahut badnaam kiya, boss. American education is not so impressive after all. Anyway, I am volunteering to become Handsomeji's consultant for his English lines (which btw are growing by the day)
Finally catching up with the posts from Page 1 onward (Holy guacamole!! You ladies are ⭐️ ⭐️. Fantastic reviews!!)
I gotta say - the show can end and we'll all be fine with YT repeats, but will really really REALLY miss the hangout everyday if it doesOk - I think I'm already in mourning 😆

I liked today's episode. Probably liked it better than Monday's (which I really liked). I think it was done interestingly. I liked the forced smile et al actually. You know that, aankhon mein nami, hasi labon par, kya haal hain, kya dikha rahi ho type.
Handsomeji has ODed on his mean pills. Boy,were the writers trying too hard or what?! I mean, Hansomeji is capable of many things, but bringing dead parents into the equation somehow didn't seem like the kind of thing he would do. I am disappoint! They could have gone with so many other options - aukaat, gold-digger, wh**e, or sabka favourite karackter dheela. But no, dead parents it had to be. If Handsomeji was less handsome he would have been kicked by everyone. But he is not, so we have to say things like:
... but, but, he will regret it like crazy
... but, but, he remembers Holi
... but, but, he is like the opposite of douchey when he stops being douchey (that is my favourite defence of Handsoemji btw)
But I wanted to hug Kookie today. Uff. Especially seeing that Handsome may never hug her. Actually, while I was at it, I am willing to hug Handsome also. Ek ke saath ek aur muft.
And Shyamface is back! Yay! you know because there can never be enough trouble in paradise.
Also, I am curious about one thing. Handsomeji won't shave and won't cut his hair. Kookie won't lose wig and continues to wear her Anarkali tents, why then were they looking nice on Monday and Tuesday? What is happening? New camera angle? Apni aankhen ki jaanch karwaaon kya? Or is it just that pain makes everything beautiful?
