Agree dear -- the intensity was missing ... Barun is capable of so much more... not sure if it was bad editing or bad direction or they were in a hurry!

This was one of the most important episodes of IPK and I felt it was hurried...intensity was lacking and Barun wasnt upto the mark for me..

Jhalak It truly feels heartbreaking for both...as you said Khushi isn't understanding...the portrayal was nice...The case of body doubles I believe for Arnav's expressions...I also think he was utterly confused about what triggered this reaction in Khushi...

Anna the episode was ok it could have been brilliant...but no regrets... story is moving! I too hope they realize the strength of togetherness 😊 If we compare Khushi has been more verbal than Arnav...the deepest feeling are yet to surface...

Good episode...

Transition from humor to seriousness was so good that I did not come to know when I stopped laughing and lost in the last scene...

what dialogue on stars... my favourite part❤️

timely truth when not told, hits like a boomerangs and comes back to you...

for truth looks preposterous if hid for longer period...apt quote for present situation...

So khushi tells him the truth..n he doesnot believe her...it is quite reasonable for asr not to believe her, as he has seen her quick wits n tricks she played during la's training...

question of trust never arised in their relationship as they hardly knew about each other on personal grounds...trust is something that comes over period of togetherness...

he doesn't seem to doubt about gupta family involvement in her affair...

If he believes khushi, then gupta ladies act becomes questionable... They entered in to a new relationship with raizada's on the poor foundation of mistrust. Their act as elders becomes unpardonable...marriage is not only bonding of two persons but two families... something that has to be built on trust,love... If he comes to know that even gupta elders hid the truth, it may be hard for him to forgive them ...and even for akash... this may have repurcations on payal also...

Even if he remains silent for anjali's sake, he will never be ableto forgive her n gupta's...

Khushi may choose not to tell this whole thing to gupta family. ... ..at this stage and...so she may remain mum on this issue...

Asr may feel guilty n will be able to support gupta's only when he comes to know it all by himself that khushi was telling the truth...and later wen truth hits the family...he can fully support her...

What will be appreciated more in future...

1. Shyam needs to be more evil...lurking around her...staring at her...at the same time getting at arnav..

2. Khushi, scared to death by shyam...running to arnav...(though he will b unaware)...creating some gud RV...

3. realisation of khushi n gupta's about their wrong approach...n not choosing either nani , the elder or arnav to tell the truth...its would be appreciated to show their regret also...

It was not just anger or hatred when he bursted the truth out!! One may feel that he was not delivering his lines that stong , not properly came out with his hate after remembering the betrayal , he has his own reasons to suspect her- further she herself has told so , he had heard that in her own voice!! (he has seen them, he heard Shyam's clarification, and seen them together even after the wedding, he has witnessed that she was keeping the wrapping paper even after the wedding)- so it made him to believe that she is STILL in an affair!!

Yes, he couldn't tolerate her behavior,which would make him burst the truth in full rage, but yet ,,,the manner he let the truth come out ,appeared to be a blend of his emotions, it was not just FURY, but it consisted the softness of his heart, the passion,the pain, the fear of losing her, guilt , confusion which showed his miserable plight, and the tone was a sort of begging for pardon for what he has done!

He could have been even more insane, he could has reacted more furiously, as he used to be during the post-marriage scenes,,but yet he has shown his concern amidst anger towards her!

He seems to be in a dilemma of not being able to understand his own feelings due to the circumstances of an unexpected MU!

@Doods: Loved reading your analysis! but a little sad because we now have to wait until Oct for Arnav & Khushi to unite. Hopefully, the interim tracks will be fast paced and meaningful to make this wait worthwhile.

Wonderful analysis of the episode, Doods and Tants. Loved how you explained the entire story past, present, and future.

I must say that for such an important, long awaited episode, this one should have been handled a lot more sensibly and sensitively. Comic BG music when we needed intense ones; relaxed and casual demeanor, body language, and facial expressions of ASR, when in fact he is facing the one thing that he fears most: death of a loved one; no real dialogue from him admonishing her for her thoughtless, dangerous act, but straightaway jumping into the issue.

Barun Sobti's unkempt and haggard, exhausted face with such an unsuitably long hair, and thick stubble, ( light ones definitely suit him), was very distracting too. God knows when he'll listen to us and pay attention to himself and his health, and make it mercifully easier for us to relate to the sleek, fresh faced ASR we loved; sadly, over the past 5-6 months, he seems to have aged 10-12 years.

The intensity was just not there, because as you say Doods, the track is well thought out,but they have lost their grip on the storytelling, dialogue, and execution. As a loyal fan, I can only pray that things improve, and quickly.

Agreed Barun could have been better , but i am guessing the fellow must have got distracted becoz of the leave & movie..

Yesterday's episode was the most awaited (i actually got back early to catch the show 😳) & the execution should have been better but sadly the episode lacked the intensity. only the last 5 minutes had the intensity , for me it made up for the rest of the episode..

Barun on a 11 day leave 😭 😭 , just crossing fingers to see less of his BD's .
