More than she wanting to kill herself for him its she NOT WANTING to die at his hands... or anybodys for that matter...

exactly...left to herself...she would not have thought of suicide...but she does not want to die at his hands...thats the gist of it..period..

you are absolute right. suicide always follows depression or rejection. in all purposes things that Khushi is going through takes its toll on a persons spirit,

i believe that the cv's are only using Khushi over active imagination as a tool to take the story forward, and push Arnav to disclose the facts. He cant keep letting her think he married her for six months only to get rid of her so he can repair some fault in his horoscope, he'd rather tell her the truth. And making the whole suicide comical suits Khushi OTT character. And at the same time it does not encourage susceptible mind's to follower suit. Its too silly and comes across to the audience as such, but has the desired affect on the tv serial character of Arnav. I'd say good work CV'

eve I am not questioning why she is doing this.

Read my following post. I think you may have:
I know she has died a million deaths.
My question is why are they making her do this.
She is a very strong and selfless girl.
I know ASR will blurt out only when he fears death.
But I am upset with the comical treatment of this because, as I said in some other post, Khushi deserves the dignity of our sympathy.
This is a poignant moment in her life. They are destroying it by making her look so comical.
Had they given it a more dignified treatment the audience wouldn't be laughing at her or ridiculing her. They would see this girl is driven to the extremes due to the extreme circumstances of her life.
They would see that she is hurting but still wouldn't even hurt the man who hurts her. That's the beautiful Khushi I love. But they just robbed millions from the chance of seeing this beauty of her character by making it comical

one basic question here...what does today's audience prefer...tears or laughter...what sells...tragedy or comedy...what would u prefer to watch...a leave ur mind at home flick or forces u to think flick...the cvs have always taken the lighter route...this show has had more to do with silly antics and laughter than with pain...very few really painful scenes have been woven into this show...we can count them on our fingertips in the past one year...and i think what we dislike today is exactly what we loved in this show...its light hearted track alonwith romance has been its USP since day one... maybe now we have had too much of an overdose of the same thing...and i do understand ur pov...but maybe they want khushi loved for her unpredictability and uniqueness and arnave sympathised with for his dark past...thats the way they have always maintained the balance..

what a gr8 post! I think I am a bit glad CVs are showing it with a comic timing! Atleast young kids would not take it as a serious solution to their problems and forget about it and would not be impacted too much!

may be for khushi it is comedy always. but i am not happy with me onebit. they make her the laughing stock and let ASR walk away with the sympathy. tat just grates on my nerves. end result of all this is khushi is called insensitive and dumb and bizarre which she is not

again...khushi is the only character in this show that can pull this off...the audience expects anything and everything from her...and as u have aptly stated it is indeed to silly for the real audiences to get impacted...(which is good news)...but has the desired effect on the character arnav (good again)

yes...i totally agree with u on this time...their handling of Khusi has left her a perfect target for one and all...and how i hate it...but thats the way the dice rolls...khushi has not been delegated the part of keeping the humour in the story alive...while arnav has the onus of keeping the show seething with romance or anger...thats the way the cvs have divided the burdens...
