Well as i am having exams i hardly am on the forum for the past few days..but from the little time i checked around here, well i thought mostly the forum opinion was that she was silly and was actually angry with her behavior..i was a little surprised..
as much as the earlier comedy tracks had no sense whatsoever, this time this track actually makes sense..
From where Khushi stands,
1) She has no idea that Arnav loves her
2) the stupid girl doesn't understand her own feelings (so the jealousy thoughts is also out)
3) she was forcefully married and till today no valid reason was given to her
4) and she was also told the marriage was for 6 months!
5)And above all else, she doesn't know if her life is of any value to him!!(the saddest thing of all!)
ok now put together the clues she has
1) a tv program tells her about an incident where a poor girl was married and later killed off by her rich hubby as it was what his Kundali said to do to make it safe for his actual girlfriend/lover
(now mind u..as surprising as it is..these things happen in the real world!! i have read them in newspapers!)
2) arnav had a girlfriend who left after they broke up (Khushi nor no1 knows the reason)
3) she hears her hubby talking to that ex-girlfriend and about taking someone out of the way
4) he behaves nicely towards her surprising her further
now this is Khushi.. she acts and reacts first and then later thinks
she takes tv stuff and any other crazy thing seriously..that is just plain her
so with all the facts she has she came to a conclusion
1) her hubby married her to fix a problem in his kundali
2) now he wants to kill her as he doesn't want to have her in his life anymore
and to top it all she seems to get all these clues on methods to kill a person..
they r normal day to day things..but as her senses r heightened and searching for the very things she seems to pick all of them..and obviously in a completely wrong way!
and now she is scared for her life..
and she is trying to protect herself from impending death..
i mean don't u feel sad for her?
1) the girl who couldn't stay a moment in hunger is actually staying hungry and skipping meals so she won't consume poison by mistake (not having dinner properly, not drinking the tea, milk)
2) the girl who would sniff a jalebi a mile away and run to consume it, the girl who stole laddoos under her buaji's nose from the prasad, who always ate her jiji's share of sweets whenever she could manage it, is not touching the jalebis she herself prepared and is right in front of her nose!
3) the easy, carefree sleeper who always slept peacefully is not able to sleep peacefully..she gets nightmares, she apparently stayed up the whole night!! (look at the scene in the morning where she lies with her eyes big and not blinking!!)
4) the happy carefree girl with a smile is looking over her shoulder every second if death is approaching!
5) she imagines how her loved ones will cry and remember her..she cries while imaging this!! she seriously is sad here!! she is sad for their sadness and her supposed impending fate!!
i mean for us these seem comical..but this is life and death to this stupid crazy girl!! she is actually scared!
then comes the next part
she is terrified of dieing! but more terrified of living in this fear of dieing eventually at his hands..uncertainty is harder than it actually happening..she has never been one to live in doubts..remmeber the vibhuti in the drink scene? she believed in the 'jaadu' and other crazy things from long before and acted on them too!!
so this is totally within her character..
so what does the crazy girl do? she decides that rather than dieing a hundred deaths every second it is better to actually do it herself! and a similar situation is the above i mentioned, vibhuti in cool drink scene..so she plans on how best to do it!
and then comes the plan of execution! she does all the preliminary activities a person who is about to die will do! and this was pure khushi!! she was about to die(from her crazy point of view) and like everything else she faces death with her sunny personality!! with a smile..
she was first scared.then she made peace as much as she can when she decided the fact was inevitable..then she decided to be happy about the things she had to do rather than being sad about something she can't control..
and then finally the last will filled with love to every single person in her life..every one who mattered to her was given something valuable and useful from her point.. that was khushi, who even when she was going to die decided to make sure others will get something to be happy about!!
ok now my point is..well don't u feel bad for her? i know she is silly..she is stupid..and naive..but isn't she innocent and actually scared?
