Ok. To be perfectly honest, I can't say that today's episode was the best of IPKKND.
Yes.
There was no progress in the story.
Yes.
Khushi was being stupid.
Yes.
There was utterly and completely NO POINT to the story.
But for a moment, put yourself in the shoes of the creatives, script writers and directors of IPKKND.
Firstly, their motive is OBVIOUSLY not to ruin the show. There is a reason for why they are dragging the tracks. And if you take the time, just for a moment, to think in the perspectives of the IPKKND crew, you might just understand why the episodes are deteriorating.
1) IPL season is going on.
Tell me one thing, FF writers. Say you find out one day that the majority of IF members will NOT be online in a particular month due to exams/other school/work related activites. Would you bother to write the best of updates during that time?!
I, personally, would not. What's the point of going through so much work and thinking up a good update, when a vast majority of readers are not going to be reading it?!
There's no point.
Likewise, in IPKKND, IPL season is on. To the majority of people, IPL is a really really important part of their life. So they're probably going to watch IPL over IPKKND. IPKKND would have, therefore, lost a lot of viewership, at least for this season. So what's the point of making the show move forward and get to a critical point when a lot of the people won't even be watching it??
So what do they do? Drag it. They're stalling until IPL is finished.
2) Sanaya had gone to UK for a couple of days and Barun is doing a movie.
Now, IPKKND was already pretty behind in terms of shooting (hence, there was that long period where we got no precaps at the end of episodes). Over top of that, Sanaya also went to UK. This meant they had to work and shoot over time (which might have reduced the quality of the episodes) and had to use body doubles. Obviously, CVs are not going to show TOO many Rabba ve moments with the body doubles, right? Thus, the lacking in Rabba ves. Also, Barun is doing a movie. His schedules have probably become even more hectic now and he shoots about 4 hours less on IPKKND sets. So OBVIOUSLY the quality of the episodes are NOT going to be the best.
3) It's impossible to have amazing scripts every day.
I'm not saying this. Barun said it. And I agree 100%. Like, give them a BREAK people! They're going through a hectic time!!!! Give 'em some leeway!!!!!
So my point here?
It's so easy to watch an episode and conclude that, "Oh, this was the world's suckiest episode."
Why not try making an IPKKND episode one day yourself?
Have you seen the behind the scenes of IPKKND?
For a two minute scene that is shown on Tv, actors, directors, and other members of the team HAVE TO WORK THEIR BUTTS OFF, with more than 15 or so takes!!!!
See the work that goes behind making an episode guys. It's not easy. And lets appreciate the IPKKND team, for once, for the amazing story, their hardworking attitude, and of course, for giving us the ArHi that we all love.
