I really dont know how to explain my thought process. But let me give it a try. One reason is WE as viewers see everything but they as characters are not aware of everything. So we know that when ASR looks at her its coz of guilt but she doesnt know that! When Khushi uttered those words at the terrace we know it was apt. But ASR doesnt know that! We as viewers should understand this. Khushi has proofs that something is fishy and that news came at exactly the right time answering the exact question for her. I feel she is true to her character. I may sound as a sadist but when they show a totally heart broken Khushi the impact will be better and stronger. You never know we might even miss these antics!

loved your last point...I say that deep down she does not believe he wants to kill her...She just wants an answer, any answer...perhaps she is even hoping that she is right because she knows how hurt Arnav will be if he finds out the truth about Shaym..

yeah.. this is the general notion.. and the perfect excuse to hide under the guise of innocence.. like you know she is innocent he is the only one to blame.. maybe some of us were putting too much thought by saying that a relationship cannot be ruined by one person alone.. it takes two to tango..

for starters i would say - Khushi has got the most powerful weapon of emosionnaal attyachar.. what some fail to notice.. it works on extremists like ASR you know? she forced (convinced in innocent terms) to get down to GH, could manipulate GH ladies to give him tasteless food and actually forced him to divulge from his natural state of being. shirts, swami aur aise kuch tracks which were written down as comedy and i can't seem to recollect.. she does force him; maybe not with the use of his shoulder marks or his brother ki shaadi but she does.

and just so i am quoted on this (haha) i am not under any circumstances saying that what she has done is OMG so criminal! it is most certainly not! waise bi ek criminal ASR kaafi hai show ke liyye.. but she has done things too which unfortunately have to be supported under the guise of - 'he did so much to her so she has to do so much to him' ! *insert cute BG mucis to make everything she did look like a joke* 😆

Khushi has every reason to think Arnav may kill her - she doesn't understand him - his behavior to her is always unpredictable, and all of a sudden the turn-around in his behavior towards her (the constant staring, following) when he was pushing her away at the dance in Preeto's wedding - I would be concerned too. Lets not forget that she may be street smart, but is not very experienced with people - only the down to earth people like her family.

I never ever complained about Khushi's OTT behavior. I was always perfectly fine with it. Some of her shrieking was annoying, and her waving her arms and hands too (reminds me of my mother-in-law - lol)

Well I have often complained about her OTT in the past, but this time I am finding it easier to swallow...dunno why..and yes, I suppose Arnav manhandling her does contribute to her reaching that conclusion as well..
