Dear I know thatyou are worried but think positive,being big in Bollywood is not imposssible ,there is a posibility ,and barun loves his show alot and wiil not leave like the others and from what i know he is very hard working, and i guess cvs will also help him schedule his shooting, mishti confirmed that he will not be leaving the show,so chill and think positive

the fact of life is that he cant keep playing ASR for the rest of his life, Barun has to keep every window open, it is rumored that he may be doing Chatan Bagats novel based movie. chatan is an exceptional story teller, remember "3 Idiots"

if it is true that it would be an opportunity of a life time for Barun, and he should not miss it, and we as his fans should support him whole heartedly. and of course. we should all go to watch the movie when it hits the theaters,

The question is not whether he should do films or not. THrough my post i have clearly justified how its very sad thing that TV actors dont find foot hold in films. About SRk also i have clearly described in detail how his case his diffrent from the tV actors trying in films today. Whatever i have written is not my subjective opinion. Its based on facts and research elemnts that i have come across through many sources. since TV co existed with bollywood. Every Bollywood actor dreams of going hollywood and evry Tv hero wants to go bollywood. To upgrade its a natural progression but its not a cakewalk. For Tv industry .. bollywood is not a bed of roses and similarly for Bollywood fraternity Hollywood is neither bed of roses. Why working in Tv is inferior to Bolywood and why doing bollywood movie is an ultimate claim to fame? Today even aamir has come down to TV and Big B also told he has no problems doing daily soaps if the script is good enough. Ronit Roy a failure in films owes his success to TV. Barun Trying films is a very good thing and we welcome it. My point is just that i have put across statistics of actors and the psychic of the indian public who believe that whats the use of Watching TV actors in Big screen and spending money in tickets when they can watch a ranbir kapoor movie or an Salman khan starrer with that money. An established actor like Akshay kumar also struggles if his last film doesnt do well, he builds his structure by being in public eye through khatron ke khiladi. So look Tv has supported him.
I just wish and pray ...May Barun Sobti gets his all dreams fulfilled and may he doesnt have to struggle hard to survive in the industry. May he never get hurted in this harsh world of competition in films .Look at his innocent face, cute smile . usspey to bas pyaar aata hai dekhne sey.

If you say, you like ASR, and that's why Barun has got this much fame, then, who ever did tat role, u wud hav liked him..

But, for all of us, v love watching ASR, bcoz Barun is doing it. Isn't so? 😊
BHPH and Shraddha were different stories, he dint have much of a chance or script for acting, he had a boyish character. Any artist would get his turn to bcum popular only when he gets a perfect opportunity to bring out his talents!! And thats ASR. I wud say, as a human, I love Barun Sobti! and He is one amazing human being ❤️

I can predict that you might be getting many 'hate PMs' because of this; but I completely understand what you are trying to say and from which position you are coming; i.e. that of an objective viewer and not a fanatic 'fan'.

I also understand that the following statements will most likely invite the wrath of these very same 'fans' and other viewers who are unable to see that we are not dissing anybody, simply putting forth well researched theories and objective observations, but here goes:

As an objective viewer myself, I must say that I like Barun Sobti's acting; like it; don't love it. Without touching upon the various aspects of his weak points, I will touch on the main one that remains to this day from the very first episode: Voice modulation.
I believe this fact is borne out even by the PH/crew on the sets.
This might prove detrimental in terms of consistent movie roles/aspirations.

I also agree about his pairing with Sanaya Irani as being a top factor in his huge popularity.

Regarding SRK, even he has his weak points that, unfortunately, seem to have gotten worse over time, i.e., Over-acting/Hamming. In fact, one can observe it quite clearly in the recent Don2.
However, your points regarding how SRK made it are definitely spot on. You just missed one: Luck. Lady Fate has always smiled upon him. Fortune has favored him.

Very few people have that kind of luck and he had it. (This doesn't negate his hard-work; but then lots of TV stars and others work hard as well; but they do not have SRK's luck.)

Stop advicing Barun as to what he should or shouldn't do.. it's his life & he has every right to do as he wants to.. it will be better if you concentrate on making your own life better.. don't u think so..

Hats of to You Jayne for bringing the critical points . Even while discussing i have learnt a lot. U r absolutely correct with reference to the voice modulation. Just dont mind others. Its that they might not understand the diffrent perspective. Mass media and technology is not that easy it seems. Every thing being shown has an intended meaning and we as audience are not to fall under the trap of what is served to us. General audience dont understand that critical aspects. In detergent ads ita always shown a women washing clothes and sending husbands children to school, offices. Have u ever seen a detergent ad where husband washes clothes? This is where Advt. media creates opinions,shapes stereotypes that it is the duty of women to wash clothes and do household chores. So every image has a meaning so looking into the critical aspects of a TV star whether the love n support he received so far and 1 year is also not completed of ipkknd and he gets a Film offer. How viable its or not? Ovbviously the concerned person will make his own decisions but its important to analyse the path through which people in the past ave walked through. Its just an observation. Wo are we to pass judgement to barun . Anyways thnks jayne for your wonderful feedback and understanding the real meaning of whai i wrote.
