Did ASR have dreams too?

Here is a guy who denied her dreams.

But in the process did he deny a few of his?

I am not clear.

He was going to confess love before the terrace dream.

So did he dream of marrying her?

So did he have a marriage dream too, though I have seen ASR as a non-believer in marriage when he was with La.

But I do believe he wanted to marry her.Though her dreams were typically like any girl, did he have dreams that were typical of every man?

Will we ever get a glimpse of that do you think?

I think when he fell in love with Khushi and was gonna confess his love to her .. he did think of marriage somewhere coz he knew the kind of person Khushi was and how much she believed in it.

i too thought that. why do we never see that side of him? it wud help us understand him a little more

Yes when he was going to confess, i'm sure he would have thought about getting married to her and live together. He is a normal guy but pretends to be the way he is.

Arnav doesn't like kids/babies but sure he will want to have a family. After the misunderstanding track, maybe next year

Yes he did. He dreamed of finally opening himself up and allowing someone into a very closed heart. It was his TRUE love. La was not. He did not believe in marriage - but as La said - ASR will marry when he wants to - which means when he finds the right girl and he thought he did. He took part of rasams he didn't believe in for Kh and her family. The one time he allowed his heart to be vulnerable - inspite of trying his entire life to avoid it - it was ripped out of his chest just as he feared.

Khushi's dreams are thrashed by ASR. But in his perspective, his love thrashed his heart, made a fool of his ego and is destroying the one person who has been with him through it all, his Di. ASR acts because he has to, because all his life, nothing gets accomplished unless he does it. Unfortunately for Kh, he used his ruthlessness on her. And when she is proved innocent, he will use it on Shyam.

They are both tragic and both victims of Shyam. I am glad the story is going back to its roots.

awww. asr as a dad would be a treat. but yes he is a normal guy too. wish cvs wud show such little things which showed his side of the story too

very true. i wish they could sho what asr feels about marriage now. he seems have taken to it like fish to water. how does he feel about marriage and his dreams now? i want to know. and i want him to beat shyam to pulp

im not sure if he considered marriaged when he fell in love with her. He was definitely going to confess his feelings but as he never dreamed of getting married, I dnt believe a wedding popped into his head. he was going straight at confessing and as his girl wants to get married, he would have relented for a wedding.

Else I dont think he would have wanted a wedding.

Given his way I don't think he'd even consider marriage.

He would have been satisfied with living with her for the rest of his life. But then Kushi would never have permitted it. So im sure he would have listened to her and let her have her way and get married.

ASR is too pragmatic to think of matrialistic things like grand marriages and weddings. Hes too practicle, probably would have questioned 'why do we want to get married? I love you, you love me and isn't that all that matters' 😆

I wish they could show Kh understanding the blow he felt. I wish they show that she gets why he is so gun shy about marriage because of his sister's broken marriage and his parent's death. From what I hear, SP is interfering in the story line, so this won't be shown. The ruthlessness with which we hope ASR beats Shyam is the same ruthlessness in his character that he shows anyone he deems his enemy, and he deemed Kh his enemy. Slowly, he is easing out of that. Let's see what happens.

Rima awesome post..u have raised v interesting questions…

Thinking of Arnav and his past like I think love was his vulnerability. Whatever happened with his parents erased the concept of love from his life. Love according to him did not exist and if it did, he saw it as weakness.

I think the time when he thought Khushi met with an accident he had to face the truth that the very thing he was running from was had caught him hook, line, and sinker. I feel knowing khushi and her belief in marriage he would not be willing to confess his feelings if he hadn't thought of marrying her…because even in his anger after the terrace scene he was extremely cognizant of the fact that only a marriage can bind her to him

Therefore, I think maybe he did not have dreams of a fairy tale wedding but he did dream of love, of sharing himself/his life with her.
