I thought today's episode was quite good!
Not because of a semi-naked Arnav (though i admit he was droolworthy 😆), but because we got to see a glimpse of the real Arnav and Khushi... the ones that exist behind the guises they choose to hide under... due to this awful MU!
Absolutely loved the fact that Khushi has been financing the Gupta house with the money she makes from her dabba service! Don't know if anyone else felt the same, but i had suspected this to be the case a while ago. And isn't that the Khushi we all know and love? Her immense love and selflessness for her family has always moved me in the past, and i'm so glad the writers haven't forgot such an important part of her characterisation post-marriage!
Then you have Arnav... he may be ASR to the world, but to his family and Khushi he'll always be that man who has a big heart, yet finds it hard to express his real feelings. He knows this is a temporary marriage, but deep-down a part of him has wholeheartedly accepted Khushi as his wife, and in turn he cares for her family and probably wishes for acceptance from them too.
It's also worth mentioning how touched Khushi was by the way he'd ordered dishes catered to everyone's individual needs... it doesn't take much to melt this girls heart when it comes to Arnav, and when that day comes when nothing stands between them but their love for each other, you'll see a different woman and will wonder how anyone could have ever questioned her love for him!
The dining table scene was a brilliant way of summing up their inner feelings... kudos to the writers for that! 👏
Now onto the precap! I honestly cannot wait for that scene to air! I have been craving for a scene where their deceased parents come up, because that is the only time they completely let their guard down with each other. In fact, i had posted a OS just yesterday with a scenario i wished would come up. It's not entirely the same, but i'm so glad that today's episode hinted towards some of what i had personally wished to see happen between the two.
