If she felt Shyam will change due to Anjali's love then she could have just told Akash not if Anjali.
And it is not only related to Khushi.Shyam was paying guest were Payal lived.she witness Shyam and Khushi engagement. So of course she should have told Akash about it.
And if you think Payal is agood sister then I have nothing to say.She is not worthy of being a sister.
I don't think Akash needs to know, sure they are both affected by the truth but the fact remains it is not something that affects Payal and Akash's relationship. True you should share everything with your husband and all but then you don't tell them everything about your family. It's not realistic to think you share every detail with your spouse. When a sibling or friend confines in another, they don't want it shared with anyone else be it their spouse. Akash is a sensible guy and been portrayed as a character who values truth without any other influence. We have seen him stand up against his mother when she has been wrong so I think he would be the one who would refuse to keep something like that away from Anjali no matter what anyone said. I agree though Payal is not the greatest of all sister but that is the poor characterization that the CVs have made after the wedding before the wedding she wasn't too bad. Also, in Payal's point of view the end of Shyam and khushi was when she broke off the engagement, after that Khushi has not told her how Shayam misbehaves with her. She probably assumes it a closed book and with anjali pregnant shyam pretends to be a good doting husband. why should payal open up to ruin what seems to be have fixed and create a tiff within her family.
All that, but I do understand where your coming from. Payal missed the chance when Akash had told her that he wants truth in the relationship, she should have disclosed it then but now from her perspective there is no need.
