kushi nodded in agreement...
"so when u r leaving..." he asked picking his files from shelf...
Though she expected him to ask that question...still his words pricked her heart...
"kal subah.." she answered packing her bag...in a low voice...
"good...then regarding ur future...i made an account on ur name...and every month u will be getting interest...i think with that money u can spend ur life happily..." he continued...
his words were sharper than knife...they shattered her heart into pieces...tears welled up...slowly she calmed herself...and turned towards arnav...
"hum pe ehsaan dikhane keliye bahuth dhanyawaad...aap humare liye bahuth kuch kiye hey...ab aur ehsaan karke hum pe bhoj math badayiye...hume koi bhi paisa nahi chahiye..." kushi said in firm tone...
"oh really..i know why u r rejecting my money...u r planning for bigger share..am i right? arnav spat in anger...confusing kushi...
"ji...aap kya keh rahe hey..." she asked him in confusion...
"wahi tum jo karne wale ho...i know very well tum uss shaym ke saath bhagne ki koshish kar rahe ho...soch rahe ho ki uss ke saath rehne se khub paisa milega...but u know what ..he is in my custody for deceiving me...and di...ab to tumhare sapne...sapne hi rehne wale hey..." he spoke in one breath...
kushi got shocked...now everything made sense to her...it became crystal clear...
"tho app isliye humse shaadhi kiya.." she asked teras rolling down her eyes...
"yes" he snapped in anger...
she collapsed on the floor...not able to digest the fact...that arnav thought very low about her...and used her to save his di's life...
she felt as if she was thrown into waters of unknown depths...all these days the mask she wore got torn...with the truth...her mosery and pain dominated her fake smile...she became vulnerable...her body became numb...and finally she became unconscious...
arnav looked at kushi...he tuned his head away in irritation...
"oh common kushi...not again...how many times u will fool me with such dramas...wait...u r a born artist aren't u...how well u acted as a good girl infront of all of us..."
he said and walked out of room...in frustration...
just then payal came running towards him...with a happy face...
"arnav ji..kushi kaha hey...? she asked with a smile...
"kya baath hey payal...aaj bahuth kush lagrahe ho...anything special..." arnav asked...
" bauji..teek hogaye arnav ji..abhi abhi..ghar se khabar aaya ahey..." she said with tears in eyes...
arnav calmed and felt happy for payal...
"agar kushi ko yeh baath patha chal gaya tho...woh kushi ke maare pagal hojayegi...mein abhi unke batha ke aathi thu..." payal continued...
kushi's name brought anger again in arnav...he sighed and went out...
payal ran into kushi's room...and screamed...looking at kushi...
arnav ran back to his room when he heard payal scream...he too was shocked...
"arnav ji...kushi ko kuch hogaya hey...unka kamar tandi ho raha hey..aur utt bhi nahi rahi hey..." payal cried...
arnav approached kushi..and began patting her cheeks calling her name...
he immediately called doctor...within few minutes kushi was in ICU...
all raizada members waited outside...arnav roamed impatiently...
after few minutes...doctors informed that she slipped into coma due to shock...
all family members cried thinking about kushi...except two...one was arnav and other was shaym...
Deep in his heart...he was vulnerable ...but for outside ..he looked as if he didn't cared...
arnav sat on the chair beside kushi...looking at her...with hatred...and pain...
just then arnav receives a call...from shaym...
"tum bahar kaise aagaya..." arnav barked in anger...
" saale saab...abhi abhi kushi ji ke baare mein patha chala...humne suna ki woh coma mein chala gaya...tch..tch...teek hey...achah hi hua..."
arnav got confused...
"woh kushi...mujhe ...shaym jha ko inkaar kiya...kithna koshish kiya..maine unk manane keliye...magar uss gawar nahi mana...jo mujhe nahi mila...woh kisiko bhi nahi mil raha hey ..." sham laughed hystericvally...
arnav was devastated with the truth...he was wrong...he destroyed her..the very though brought tears to his eyes...
"i will kill u..." arnav screamed in anger...
"kuch nahi karpaoge arnav babu...bas chillathe rahohe.."shaym said and cut the phone...
arnav threw the phone and rushed to kushi...with tears in eyes...
he held kushi's hand...with love..that was masked with mistrust all these days...
"kushi...iam sorry...iam sorry..." he cried...cried...and cried...
but he was unaware of unknown depths into which he had thrown himself and kushi into...
