I come to the forum and see everyone going gaga over the teeka scene.😍

Even I agree it was so beautiful and all that.

But my question is-

Why did Khushi want to put teeka on Arnav's forehead????

To irritate him? Then why put it by pressing her forehead on his? I don't know why but I felt it was a bit random.😆

Did I miss something?

Please enlighten me!😃

well her current theme has been overwhelming him with TLC - tender loving care - as she feels that it will make him mad and maybe lead him to kicking her out. So the teeka by forehead was another step in that direction - it is an incredibly loving gesture. I don't think Khushi thought it would end the way it did - that they would get enmeshed in each other - rather she thought it would just irritate him.

Remember yesterday when Anjali put the tika, he said he wouldn't allow anyone else do it but for his Di and Anjali told the same thing to Khushi? So my understanding is, Khushi wanted to irritate him by putting it which he usually doesn't let anyone else other than his Di to do. When she wanted to put, the box was empty, hence she did what did..:)

yup started thinking about it at first...as there is a mandir (pooja ghar...or whatever) at home and not to mention the pooja ki thali...she must have a never ending stock of tika etc..but then saw a lost puppy expression on screen and that thought was dropped...Yes felt the same a random one squeezed in to give a bright spot to a otherwise lacklustre epi.

I guess the whole idea is part of her 100 ways to annoy him but when she saw the tiny box empty, she had to think quick on her feet and she came up with a way to put teeka on him. She caught Arnav off-guard and the moment she did it, she realized what she did. The proximity was overwhelming for her too and she was lost in it for a second... a little embarrassment which made her blush. She didn't plan it, it just happened!
