As usual coming to IF means finding a lot of negative posts and members criticising one or the other thing. Today's hot topic of criticism being khushi's antics in the office.

I read a lot of posts where ppl are criticising khushi's characterisation, her mindset, her upbringing and what not and saying that she is not acting according to her character.

So lemme refresh the memory of those ppl who suddenly now think that khushi is not befitting for Arnav and a shallow girl like her doesn't deserve the great ASR.

If khushi was irrational today then what was ASR when he misunderstood khushi based on her one sentence and then blackmailed her into a contract marriage on lieu of her sister's happiness??

Arnav is shown to be a great business magnet who has earned wo much in so less time bcoz of his talent. Then what sort of businessman let emotions overtake his common sense? A successful businessman collects evidence, do research and create a strategy before taking any decision but arnav took the most important decision of his life in haste that too based on a single sentence and a hug. That's totally unrealistic.

But since our forum is full of die-hard arnav fans(I'm one too but I'm rational too), we have reasoned his misdoing as an act of impulse and rage and a deed done for the love of his DI

If we ppl can understand that at that time his main priority was the protection of anjali then why can't we understand that right now khushi's main priority is getting out of this sham marriage by hook or by crook without hampering her jiji's happiness. Since desperate times call for desperate measures, she won't stop and think abt her so called husband's reputation now.

Also to think of it, she knew that arnav loves his work and reputation a lot and attacking that very thing will anger him so much that he might throw her out which is what she actually wanted. So, why would she wanna hamper her chances of getting out by being sensitive. So I think she is not foolish but very very smart.

Absolutely agreed!! she is totally desperate to get answers from arnav coz his one action has changed her life totally...has broken all dreams...shattered all her hopes of beautiful and loving marriage.. her whole world has fallen apart wouldn't she take desperate measures?? see from her pov...when while forcing her into this marriage arnav didn't think of what will happen to her reputation after the 6 months marriage ends..how will she face her family again after a broken marriage.. how will she face the world alone..why will she think of saving arnav's reputation that too just in front of her subordinates?? only thing she has in mind is get the truth out of arnav without it affecting payal!!

she is all alone suffering the pain of being in a temporary 6 month marriage, forced into it by blackmail that too by the very person whom she loves truly and completely...the very same person whom she dreamt of confessing his love to her...the very same person with whom she actually wanted to spend all her life.. that same guy broke her heart into million pieces and she doesn't even know why???
wont she get frustrated?? she is dying in pain just to see that he is carrying on with his life as usual and still blaming her only...when she is the one who had to leave her home and live with him...she is getting attached to the family she thinks is hers only for 6 months.
she has tried pricking him...annoying him...even tried silent treatment ( although shd hv continued that for little long) but all she got was No Answers still!! she doesn't know that arnav misses her...all she knows is that he thinks she has made his life hell!! so why not she actually does it??? how can she let him live so comfortably continuing his life in the same manner as before marriage as if nothing has happened when her whole life has turned upside down?? so she wants him also to taste his own medicine...let him bear the fruits of the seeds he has sown...if he had decided to marry , forced it on her...so better face the damn consequences too!! she wants her answers and that is why is going to every length possible to frustrate him...not thinking abt anything else right now!! now after knowing arnav's weakness of not being able to handle love & care...she wants to use it to its maximum...she doesn't want to Just annoy arnav...she wants him to get badly affected and frustrated so that gives her the needed answers or releases her from this sham marriage!!

further...ppl she is just a 19 year old girl...how much can she handle alone...& how can she be expected to behave maturely all the time...she is forced to take the extreme and desperate measures!

Why cant people just accept the storyline and watch the show and not bash the forum theres so much negative comments on thsi forums why is everyone not liking the storyline

I agree with you, I am surprised to see people react this way.

I'd like to think that storming a meeting is no greater sin compared to what the man has forced upon her. For a moment, do not look at him as asr, keep the prejudice away and imagine if shyam had blackmailed her the same way, what then? The bottomline is that arnav crossed the threshold onto to the other side that day he blackmailed her, and decided to play god himself. She is simply reacting to him. I fully understand how lame her actions look but think of her, from her perspective and her frame of mind. She is not a doll but a human being with feelings upon whom all doors have been shut albeit seemingly how can you expect logic and ethics to be upheld from her end? How can you say she should respect the institution of marriage and its sanctity when she's been repeatedly told in no uncertain terms that this is not that. How can you expect her to be the torchbearer of upholding this facade to the world when she is the one who stands to face that same world when the marriage will end in a few months time? How can you expect her to stand mute and suffer through everything for the sake of his reputation and the happiness of his family when all that was hers has been ruthlessly stripped of her and butchered like she and her family's reputation and their happiness meana nothing.

Given this backdrop, do you expect me to be symphathetic to him and his cause? NO.

He brought a lot of it onto himself and now may as well deal with it. I hope this is just the start of things for him because redemption should be an ardous road for him.

lovely post ..i am tired of coming to this forum and reading all depressing comments on the characters of this show...one day it will be khushi the next asr and the next anjali and there the line goes...i love both khushi and asr...for me both r not perfect..who is?but some ppl r really crossing the limits when it comes to so called bashing or criticism whtever...but khushi has always recieved a huge blow in this forum coz she is not as sophiscated and lack manners which would make her a perfect high class wife for asr...ya she maybe childish or immature or to some OTT...whts new?she has been like that frm the beginning..i love them and this show...

Let me be honest - it took me quite some time to appreciate Arnav, i was always in the Khushi team... but i have the right to be disappointed at her acts right? no matter what ASR/Arnav has done to her, the office act did seem a bit way too much to me ... the reason for my disappointment actually comes from my admiration for Khushi - i want her to be righteous, pranky but a bit sensible - like she was.
