CVs - Mocking other's isn't a great!!

What happened to show I loved?? The cvs have made a complete mockery out of everything.

1) The show itself - which started with a great promise and had an amazing run for nine months.

2) The characters ' KKG, ASR (completely butchered) and supporting characters (completely wasted).

3) Mocking the talents of two hugely talented leads by giving them no substantial material to perform.

4) Mocking another show and its lead character.

5) Mocking the love of the fans (by testing their patience and taking advantage of their loyalty).

6) Mocking all the appreciation, accolades and awards they received (by taking the show for granted soon after it reached the peak of success).

IPL is no excuse for being lame. All soaps may have slightly lower trps in IPL season but the loyal fans do watch the show. Every other show is bringing dramatic twists and turns during IPL season and the makers of IPKKND are dishing out crap. What about us who watch the show despite our hectic schedules and even during IPL? Do we deserve one and half month of nonsensical plot?

Many new shows will be launched post IPL. If the ratings go down, is there any guarantee the cv's will be able to revive it? Can they guarantee those shows won't be good and will not take up IPKKND's spot? The cv's better not forget they are running a show on Star Plus and not Star One where a shows success was measured through online viewership. Star plus is all about TRPs.

how come other shows are showing same TRPs..😕

The inconsistencies, abrupt track changes, character butchering, OTT senseless comedy and overall deterioration in the quality of the show started much before IPL started. IPL only gives the makers an excuse for dipping TRPs. When I look back at the previous scenes on YT, I almost don't recognize the show anymore. Call me a basher, cynic, a disloyal fan..whatever..but it saddens me that a show that had / still has so much potential and a talented ensemble cast has lost it's way like this. Sobti and Sanaya are the only reason I don't miss an episode yet.

Mocking and heckling audience's IQ... not cool at all!

They set the bar high but could not live upto the expectations. Success got to them perhaps. This PH is not ready for the big league and doesn't give a rodent's rear about us their audience who has been with them through the highs and lows.
They sunk to a new low today.😕

IPL is no excuse...looked at few other shows...they are not living from episode to episode...

I agree mocking another show is in bad taste. It surprises me how starplus approved it. Just goes to show that the channel only cares as long as the show does well. As soon as viewership declines they start giving the cold shoulder. IPK team should be careful there numbers are even less than SNS.

Fari - it seems unlikely that the show will last until the end of this year but if the rating continue to spiral down then I guess IPKKND is a goner because from the little I know about Star Plus I've heard they have shows and concepts pending which they'll launch in weeks the moment IPKKND doesn't start doing better in it's prime time slot. Right now Child Bride is beating us, dark times ahead. But today was better than yesterday for me!
