@Satya - "Arnav slowly turns around like a sunflower following the sun" - what a beautiful description!! The first 5 minutes were wonderful to watch and what a nice follow up to Friday's episodes.
Anjali revealing the key to Arnav's behaviour to Khushi, though she used it totally different way today will this and the letter written by his mom ultimately help her figure out the prince in the beast? I am wondering when the CV's are planning for her to read the letter.

what to say abt today episode:

from an entertainment point of view: 9/10

it was really well acted by sarun, it was funny and i just was felt feeling happy and warm when i was done. there was a good mix of comedy with the love that arhi share. i my opinion khushi was not ott like she is sometimes. there were feelings being the facade of jokes.

from the perceptive of the story : 5/10

bad stuff first

story is moving very slowly, prob done on purpose by the cv's. prob due to ipl and might also be they are still working out the how arnav will find out the truth and their confession of love. both are really pivotal scenes for the show and hope cv's are putting in a lot of thought for those.

shyam is missing in action. as much as i don't like him creating problems he is the one that moves the story along.

skeptical abt the new entry

on to the good stuff

some may disagree but khushi was not ott today. the girl is stuck between a rock and a hard place. she loves him, she think he hates her, she loves the family cant tell them the truth. she wants to be away but cant too much without raising the families suspicions. so she has yet again dawned the sanka devi avatar... and being the "peerfeeccct wife" to arnav. laughter is khushi medicine and part of her nature. im liking the portrayal of khushi nowadays.

i liked this take as she is giving arnav what he wants a obedient docile khushi who does not challenge his authority and not to mention makes arnav the center of her universe. and as much as arnav may denie he wants khushi attention 24/7. he on many occasions automatically assumes that khushi actions, words and feelings are directed towards and caused by him.

arnav's besides the misunderstanding needs to let khushi be her own person. arnav is too strong and dominant and in his need for control unknowingly suppresses khushi and her carefree nature. the part of khushi he loves the most. anjali tries to tells him but arnav has yet to understand. he missed her when she was gone and he didnt like it when he was killing him with her attention. i liked how he said that LG was better than swami.

i know much has been discussed of the future separation. but i thing is for sure it wont be a physical one. they might love each other one day, hate the next, irritate, bring tears, confuse one another r just plain break each others heart. but these two cant stay away from each other to save a life, u said it right they are each others need as well as addiction. the dysfunctions of their relationship are being shown well under and veil of light hearted comedy.

The episode was comedy filled and laced with the essence of the show.if one goes into the pieceing the puzzle about what it is all about ... Then I would I say it is just expression of love in an individualistic manner.
1.Arnav in the abrasive manner
2.Khushi in her usual happy go lucky style
And lastly Anjali the bridge between these two loving both and trying to delve into the psychology of these two.she tries to explain 's nakhushi to arnav but to no avail.but she does succeed in convincing Khushi about the" jackfruit" nature of Arnav and also a way to mellow him down with love.

This applies Arnav's approach to his emotion named love which he supresses . Khushi being the light is trying to get him on to the road to heaven under the garb of irritating him.I so loved this fact even the story didn't move an inch and it felt like a filler.the scene where both feel that the last face they want to see before they sleep is each others's really gave us the crux of the feeling for their spouse.What a couple!!!!!
When Anjali tried to explain about arnav about the change in khushi's behavior and also her search for the elusive happiness,one could see the guilt on Arnav's face.he understands his di but refuses give any clue of this understanding . But when Anjali goes to Khushi she understands her. Knowing Khushi's penchant for drama, I expected her approach this only the way she excelled in-the soap style.I enjoyed and was laughing my head off when I saw Khushi using swami repeatedly irritating arnav .

Tanthya good analysis for such a filler episode and trying to see something meaningful out of the scenes.

This is what I wrote in Garima's post and will elaborate.

Tonights episode I just watched it for the sake of it, was not excited at all like I used to be once upon a time.

So I just did not expect this to move and just laughed at Asr dialogues and felt bad for the poor thing. I just loved his dialogues

Do not make me start on dimwit Khushi, Anjali gave her such a crucial insight on Asr's childhood and what he was like.

The way she used it was so juvenile. Is this how you teach someone to open up to you by changing his wardrobe that was the height of it or is she still on kicking out of RM phase.

There are lots of issues that cv's could have dealt with before heading towards the ending of MU.

I always knew Khushi did not have a brain and now she does not have the heart as well.

If this is what a samajhdar person is like , this is the new version of samajhdari the cv's have shown.

I just did not get the changing of wardrobe and made him wear such colours.

I also loved the scene of them looking at each other before going to sleep, it feels like they have gotten so used to seeing each other and being around.

loved the comedy today...it was wonderfully portrayed by both leads...arnav's annoyance brought out the fun of the pranks khushi was playing...

Doodle---I am one of the spoonfeds...so wish they used monolouges...as they don't I am so happy we have you here😊. I didn't get dissappointed to see the little chottey though...I got an idea of his personality from his mom's letter. She did mention he is an angry kid and putting together with you explanation gives a very good idea of what kinda person arnav is..thanks again.

you mentioning treatment was pathetic..had me in spilts😆

Arnav singh Raizada sleeps on his king size bed, his eyes fastened on the clock as he impatiently awaits the arrival of Khushi..Khushi comes in reluctantly , admonishing Laxmi to be quiet and sending her off for the night ..Khushi watches Arnav sleeping for a while , slowly walks away taking care not to disturb him.. she goes to her side of the bed, closes her eyes, while Arnav slowly turns around like a sunflower following the sun, looks at her slleing form , closes his eyes in contentment and falls asleep..Khushi too has her fill of devouring him by sight and closes her eyes, Her eyes and memory holding on to the last image that of Arnav sleeping like a kid..

Lies !! All lies, the so called anger,disgust, contempt all lies for prowling underneath this deceptive overt hatred is one shining truth, awaiting its chance to pounce on this unwary players is a alien and diametrically opposite emotion called LOVE !

this scene i liked most.n ur descripition is so good.

" the other is probing the makeup of characters ." what is this meaning sathya ? Did u mean this is they doing of every character or just arnav khushi n anjali characters. N this we r watching nw we seeing arnav's childhood 1st glimp n he is like this 4rm his childhood n i thought he is like that after his mother death. He was nt naughty as we knwn after akash n arnav convo in new year epi glue incident . I m so confuse n yeah about anjali handicap what u wrote .

yeah here u r saying absolutely right. Anjali feels khushi is da most right person who would understand arnav n help him to come out 4rm his dark world but she gave da weakness of arnav to da person who nt ll use it in good but ll use it to teach him a lesson of what i really dnt knw if she only irritate him or what n what this conclusion come dnt knw its positive or negative let see. Agreed u wrote in purple. O sathya kis pehaili me daal dya. Today anjali's dialouges r more sensible than any other. Couldnt understand kkg they flew over 4rm my head bcz there r so much difficulty hindi n that i also read in ur selected song . Aarasi means eyes bcz kajru laganey baat ho rhi . Tou deff eyes me hi lagaye ge.

Kids see the truth easily sometimes when it is difficult for the adults to decrypt the obvious and are gulled by other factors ...This was a line that resonated from y'day ..Now will this kid come and point out the obvious to this two idiots giving them the much needed insight into one another and the poisonous circumstance...I hope so !!

The most intriguing part was Akash taking the keys with him ...somehow suggesting a lack of faith and trust between these two..PAYASh bond is a untested bond and with each of them guarding and holding on to their thoughts and always agreeing to what other says with their alphabets ..I would be interested to know how they will unfold when strife hits ... did not Shyam warn Shashi earlier on that Payal will be at RM under his control and that he has the power to make or break Payal's life... will we see that cming into play..Khushi's fears of Payal's life shattering turning true but the blow comes from another source named Shyam... Trust is a doubtful commodity in PAYASH life but Trust reigns supreme in Arnav-Khushi life..yes sometimes it does face its share of storms, tornadoes, Many a time it appears that they will succumb but have weathered out successfully so far and now Shyam awaits !!

In the first glimpse to me this episode was a funfilled one but in the layers I found...

1) A glimpse of both these ppl getting used to each other( Arnav says god knows when she will come, ,,, meaning he still wants her to be in the room even after B& B happenings).

2) She knows that she has to go back to Shaitan's mahal...( she still gonna be with him even when the things clear out clouding the current vision).

3) Anjali's Pearls of Wisdom to both of them.. today may be he didnt hear them, one day he is gonna take note of them.

4) Someone in the family (Anjali) is realising that All is not well in the Love nest as they show.

5) Khushi is trying to find the right way to Arnav's phyche( she mentioned it to lakshmi) for now she is using her laughter is lighter approach but beneath the whole fooling around still lies the questining mind to understand him.

The Ribticking moments...

1) Swami...Swami

2) LG was better than Swami

3) Testing of Parfummm

4) The Garden Shirt.

5) Akash You are the first person who carries the cupboard keys with himself.

6) the Look on Mami's face with the Red Shirt...

Was resigned to the fact today that they might not hv the intensity to clear the MU but they are moving the story by nano mm's. ultimately it will keep us interested or we still hv the option of quiting it.

@ Sathya,,,, Very good Analysis, I like the simple acts of decoding every simple gesture.

Also in the episode where the ASR & Arnav malik came up , there while showing that they were shown out of Sheesh Mahal, they had shown young siblings crying Anajli in salwar kameez & I guess I hadnt seen the braces..

@ Anna: most of us are in the same hate to be ping pong ball evryday.

Sorry for the trespassing. 😉 thought i will reserve a place here today because I spent most of my working hours reading the 88 pages of IP Redux The Asp. 😆. It was also two fold. Could have directed me to a eternal CV hater for sure by the time i finished 88 pages. To confess, I was wondering how can I love the IPK of IP Redux by the end of reading. But it turned out the other way, Thanks to all, it just reaffirmed my faith in IPK 😉

Are we missing the forest for the trees?

I had a truck load full of expectations from today's episode. Needless to say, I was crestfallen since none of them came true. My MIL who follows neither IF nor SBB had a hell of a time laughing at khushi's antics. For me, It was an episode ruined by the weight of my own expectations.

Scene after scene, episode after episode, they show only one thing. Arhi. They don't have side track. They don't even waste much time on mami's one liners or anjali-shyam duo. The episodes are mostly dedicated to arhi. So definitely there might be some point not just TRP. I decided to shift by biasing a little towards CVs side and the result was good. I just re-watched the episode and to tell you the truth, I liked it. In fact khushi's dance bought a smile on my face which is yet to fade.

Arnav and khushi, they are defenitely coming closer day by day. Be it under the mask of hatred and bickering, they are getting to know each other or rather I would say, They are learning to live with each other at their worst possible avatars. May be this might be the basis of next track? May be CVs and laying foundation for the MU clearance track? May be this closeness might accentuate the hardships at the time of separation, sure shot TRP fetcher? Even after so much criticism if CVs are sticking to OTT, then there must be something fishy(?) for sure.

May be this is the way an understanding comes between arhi about each other?Anyway I decided to sit back relaxed and enjoy the fun ride of arhi. The story is slowing raveling in the lives of the main leads in its own way.

Some points from the episode whick I liked

The Shaitan comes back - Khushi still calls arnav as shaitan and she already admitted herself that her prince and shaitan is the same. So in a way it is a silent acceptance from her part. And since beginning khushi is a confused soul about arnav. So at this point this is the maximum degree of confession you can expect from khushi.

Why this OTT? - Felt that CVs are trying to convey the logic behind khushi's antics via Anjali. "She is searching for her own happiness in all these". It was intended for arnav who royally discarded it (as of now!), but I felt It was the best way of reassuring the audience the real reason behind khushi's OTT! I am a convinced acolyte now!😳

Blurring Line of Control - Slowly the hatred line of ASR and Khushi is blurring. The SR night, they put themselves to sleep staring at each other in hatred. After that definitely they have traveled enough distance to longingly stare at each other before falling asleep. Literally and figuratively the distance between them has reduced. Well that's a progress I would say.

ASRs caring ways - ASR does not cringe or turn back when he accidentally shows his caring side towards khushi. He does it naturally and most importantly, he neither hides it nor embarrassed of the display of his care. He voiced his care twice today. Hmm Arhi has indeed has moved on to a new level, While I was busy fighting in the forum about MU clearance, dragging and domestic abuse.

So the entire track is about arhi, well call it dragging till IPL or filler, but the track is about arhi. And if they want to drag the IPK, why not get side track? Why not get shyam track(it is a TRP fetcher!)? I am sure they have n number of ways to drag a serial. But they are hell bend on arhi? Why? Must be some reason behind it! IMO CVs are throwing pieces of a jigzaw puzzle to arhi and each of them busy collecting it in their own way. They just have to put it together to see the whole picture. May be after IPL 😃 they will do it.

The other criticisms, like butchering khushi's\arnav character in some scenes, inconsistency in emotions continuous episodes etc are something which I think I should ignore considering the bigger picture. Strictly my point of view, it might be the game killer for some of you. totally respect that.

Ok.. Done I am stopping my rant. Totally in a mood to exalt the CVs. So might have a biased opinion in my rant. Again thanks to all redux members for boosting my morale 👏

And last but not least, If at all someone is replying to this post, I would appreciate a PM. Redux is a too big a thread to search for replies 😊

Page 3 it is -- did not think I was a Page 3 gal!

Did not like the episode today as it has not moved the story an inch !

Only good things were the completion of "Arnav missing Khushi" from the episode on Friday that they missed yesterday and her ruffling his hair!

Anjali is picking up enough vibes with her dull brain ... why isn't Arnav putting up his lovey dovey act? Why has Khushi again gone to "irritate ASR" mode from "avoid ASR" mode? No consistency in the story and characterization. Why is no one else asking these questions?

The episode was good as a standalone episode... but not as a link in a story! According to me it is still too early to peel off the ASR layers ... if they do ... they are liable to backfire like today ( I was expecting a lot from this track... but today's episode has made me decide that this should be for later)!

Wonder how a third party can solve issues that the main protagonists and immediate family haven't been able to so far!

Recently I searched around for the redux thread and happened to see few friends here had replied to my post. I didn't see it in time so please don't feel I ignored them. You guys probably interact when I am in lullaby land and next morning redux threads have generally gone bonkers so its difficult to follow :)... it would be fun to interact. I wish there was some user tagging system for messages.

My train of thought is broken today so I won't be writing much. I just have to ask Khushi one thing... why did she need to trivialize what Anjali told her? Anjali was trying to give an insight to why Arnav was the way he was... and what did she do... go buy yellow, red, bageecha shirts!!!! Red shirt looked really good on ASR though 😛 Episode had its funny moments... but I didnt like how Khushi shoved aside the purpose with which Anjali was sharing information about her brother and picked up on how to irritate him further.😡

I hope CV's don't drag this.
