this is why i am mad.. HMPHHH 😆

who said all the episodes need to be in line with the track.. i can excuse ek do fillers for the CVs if they give some on this note.. the choreography, the song's changing tunes; the screenplay all sucked but the epi was still a good standalone... what i liked was the ambience created! so, the way to arnav's passion is through remembering the FB? way to go then! i almost thought they locked it up when there was no focus on the MU lately.. and here we go; it is used to ignite this dance.. 😆

love your post bhama! will read the rest of the takes and tell you why i am more mad! 😛

but i have a brief expectation of how the story should go.. or at least how i thought they would take this since day 1... the only department where ASR boy lacks perfection is his emotions.. that is where khushi needs to hit him.. the power of her silence; the power of her heart full of love.. all of that she needs to unleash the animal in him and get him to shake up his bottled side... he has a heart that is capable of love and that is what she needs to hit on and get out.. and then she will get her sapno ka rajkumar... the most unromantic chote turned the perfect lover for her.. that is the crux of the story!

that'll of course happen when the CVs are done with 100 ways to irritate the man and this.. 🤣
did you write something on the family potrait like you did during the run of the hill payash confession?

Tants/Doods/pam/Anna and many others Wonderful Analysis Ladies!
Loved all the perspectives... Atleast all of us agree on one thing: its not a filler episode!
Some points to ponder!
1. yet another hint thrown by Kushi to Arnav
Arnav tells her not to dream, he is doing it only for his di- Here, he thinks that she is in love with Shyam, why would she dream about him? he was just fishing for some assurance that he matters for her...and she tells him, why would I dream about you? I am doing it for your Di as well...Why would she do it for Shyam's wife? she does it rather, for Anjali's happiness and to an extent...Arnav's sister's happiness, which is in turn his wish!
2. Does Anjali suspect that these two are not happy with eachother? that too with one incident of fight that she heard from her hubby?
* forget everything for today and enjoy atleast for my sake... doesnt fit, even though it gives a much deeper meaning, there might come a time when they will forget their differences and get together for Anjali's sake...but at this point it didnt fit with current scenario! - she was supposed to believe they are madly in love with eachother... how did she forget they eloped to get married, all the loveydovey acts in front of her, bhang induced speeches and poses!
* why would she and the family lock their rooms, take away the mobiles, plug off the lights connection? I mean, they believe the newly wedded pairs are happy, do they think theya re not capable of enjoying when an opportunity is given.. Only the viewers and shyam know that ArHi are not happy... Anjali suspects only a fight, which is common between Husband and wife and considering ArHi they ave always been fighting... it seemed too cliched from Anjali's part...
3. The Dance and what an apt title Tants! explains everything... some scenes in the bedroom after the confused looking Kushi doesnt suggest continuity, Doods explanation fits!
The symbolism with putting out the candle lights, as in shutting off the love between them, then realising they are locked together, by di - their marraige, then both searching for it in the dark for match stick- Kushi asks if he has it, he knows its somewhere there, then Arnav finding it, Kushi trying to save him from getting burnt, - when she pushed away the matchstick, thus saving him, he gave her his hand to help her get up, at the same time the fire catches up fiercely- So the next time they find love, it will not be soothing like the candle light, it might be fierceful like the fire on the recliner! Beautifully explained by you all!
And apart from the beautiful symbolism, its is a way for the CVs to get them both together in the same bed, now kushi will try to put out the fire with water, wet the recliner, and Arnav will have to sleep on the bed, beside her...
trivia:
It seems that Payash have already consummated their marraige, inspite of all the jokes in IF😆 they seemed comfortable enough!

Great post Sathya. I have to admit when I saw the beginning I thought this was going to turn into a disaster because it was going the comedy route but I was so wrong. There were many reasons I liked this episode.
I liked that there was continuation from yesterday's episode, usually when Arnav and Khushi fight the next morning it is like nothing happened but not this time. I really enjoyed Khushi throwing Arnav's words in his face, not fighting back when he expected her to, just bascially doing whatever he told her. This was such a slap in the face to Arnav who in this episode proved that he loves the fiesty Khushi who never hesitated to challenge him, fight back, he missed that in this scene.
I've read mixed reactions about the dance but I personally loved it! It had angst, passion, intensity, posession. There was just so much going on, so much symbolized in that dance. It was too good. Sathya, good observation about the triangle, I didn't even notice that!!
I like that the MU is still going on, with Arnav unable to forget while Khushi continues to be puzzled by his behavior. I really want this to continue, Khushi needs to find out the source of Arnav's pain and he needs to start picking up on Khushi's uncomfortable behavior when it comes to Shyam. I hope he noticed Khushi's body language when Shyam handed her the flowers.
Liked the bedroom scene, while Khushi showed concern for Arnav hitting his leg she also felt some satisfaction for what he put her through, can't fault her for that. Same for her not being able to remember the good qualities she saw in Arnav, its hard for her to see that when he unleashes his ruthless side to her. It is like she said yesterday, she can't believe this is the same man she fell in love with.

Fantastic analysis as always!

The first thing which came to my mind when watching the dance was the Shiva-Parvati dance.

It is said that when Shiva does his destructive tandava dance, Parvati is said to complement him with slow, creative step of her own, calming him with her soft glances. While Shiva shows a wilder nature that is both austere and erotic, Parvati stands for the middle path of the householder. Parvati, though a fierce energy herself, is perfectly capable of taming Shiva's famous temper. She is known for unleashing her true power and strength in times of crisis.

Today's dance seemed to reflect a similar connection, with ASR as the self-controlled destroyer, whose power or energy resides in Khushi. While in his rage and fury, he will tread the path of destruction, she will calm him.

Also, the concluding shot of the dance (where their bodies appear to have merged and we see one half of each) seemed to signify the Ardhanarishvara concept which portrays Shiva and Parvati as 'One' - Shiva becomes the right side and Parvati, the left side. Together, they symbolize the power of renunciation and the blessings of marital felicity. An indication that the balance will be achieved when both partners complement each other to form the ultimate oneness.

Thank you ...I got confused because he said I am doing this for Di...makes one think he thinks khushi is dreaming about being with him...

On the contrary, I think when Arnav said 'dont weave any dreams'... he is actually talking about himself! He is using reverse psychology here. In saying it out loud to Khushi, he is reminding HIMSELF to not dream any dreams.
Arnav did the same in yesterday's episode when, in anger, he said to Khushi that 'you cant weaken me! It was almost as if, by negating it out loud, he can control his own emotions. Remember also, Arnav did that right after diwali too ...when he told her to 'not assume that a rich man is keeping her anklet out of love..' It was more to tell himself off.
Therefore, I think he uses Khushi as a scapegoat to deny his own emotions / feelings...
But in saying things like these, he is making Khushi go further and further away from him, emotionally. Khushi cannot decipher Arnav's reactions and comments ... and statements like these only increase the wedge between them. Khushi's hurt is deepening with each passing day..and so is her spirit to fight him.
