Vidhyaaa!! You're killing me! i actually had daal makhni and aloo ke parathe last night! But please yaar, aise word pictures mat banaao. I just promised my mother that i'd concentrate less on eating and more on studying! *Regrets!* I was just telling her about the perfect way of eating pappu annam, that is daal and rice, and she extracted this promise out of me! Of course, being my very own sweet mumma, she'll chase me holdingh pieces of ghee soaked parathas tomorrow morning.. But till then I'm expected to remain quiet about anything related to food! This is harder than fasting for Shivratri! Why did I have to read this?? Kyon Devi maiya! Save me! Oh, wait.. my aunt just came and informed that her in-laws are coming tonight! Wow! Sab Aapki kripa hai, Devi maiya, and Vidhya uh.. no, i can't call you maiya! Ek baar naam le liya, and dekho, we've got guests tonight! But that means no IPK! It's okay. I'll survive on Munchy's munching on post!Yea, sorry for spamming! Just had to reply to that 'Food po*n' post of yours! 😉[/QUOTEHa Ha Ha! You're cute. I love eating just plain daal and rice. You have to have very hot rice, ofc. Then you put a generous dollop of ghee on it. You mix the dal in nicely and savor every bite. And yeah...eating it with a spoon is sacrilege. To truly enjoy the flavor of every morsel, it has to touch your fingers before it reaches your tongue. Then you chew slowly, eyes closed. When you finish, you lick your fingers just like ASR. Then you smile gently like the Buddha. It's called dal-chawal-nirvana and I have been there.Sorry...couldn't resist! 😛
