^^ladies I am intruding into your conversation...

@sukri ...I don't watch many Hindi shows so I am not sure of the Star Plus trend ...I used to watch a SP shows when I first joined India-forums...but the annoying twists and turns put me off ...and now the same is happening here :(

What amuses me is the fact how the male lead here is always portrayed right and justified (to an extent in the show and blatantly here) ...whenever the female lead does smothering it immediately becomes illogical and what not but when the male lead does it; he has his reason :O 😆

I wish I didn't like Barun and Sanaya onscree so I could have stopped watching! 😆

What generation gap? Is this show aimed at grandparents sitting at home or the urban youths...CV needs to get their marketing right lol

Totally with you...a big example is when he had that crick in his neck and she did not give a hoot, she was bashed left right and center in the forum for being insensitive...and when he chucked her out the first night, excuses were made that he saw Shyam ogling at her so he lost it...

I get to see lot of Hindi soaps when my mom or aunt visits me or I visit them. SP shows don't have wierd twist and turns since ekta left SP, but I get to see lot of non-sense in shows .. like in one show the female lead thinks that her hubby turned into a chicken and runs behind it to catch. and that show got the Nayi Soch award in SPA 2012.

True in some ways.. the same action done by female is show in a comical way that it doesnt seem relevant or okay, but for male it is show in a serious way and in some sequence, which makes people notice I guess. This is still okay coz we are viewers know about it.
Its just surprising the way the people in Forum sometimes go to extreme extent to defend the male lead.

I wish I didn't like Barun and Sanaya onscree so I could have stopped watching! 😆
Same here

khahani - i was just thinking about this the other day. how much has the forum changed my perception of the show and has it biased me one way or the other. the answer is yes. in my case though my bias changes everyday, and i am rejected by all camps, at the end of the day. so i pitched my camp in Gutterland where only gutter thoughts and laughter are my companions. i love reading the posts and thoughts of others but off late have stopped going deep dive analysis because it bothers me at times of what passes off easily as entertainment.

case in point - today we had arnav physically abusing khushi, how many posts do you see on that? we have become so immune, that a little pushing and shoving are now almost acceptable.

Weird reaIIy

The sIamming of the door is ok it was an accident ,he didn't Iet her go in spite f her repeated saying he is hurting her

If the cvs want to show arnav hurt they show him manhandle khushi

If they want t show khushi's innocence they bring a siIIy 300 rs track

Ruthless arnav throw the girI out

but didnt somebody made a post saying asr's going to play mean and shyam will think he wins but its ASR who's playing the game to trap shayam?? and we're to find that later in the show???

i think and hope ASR's opinion has changed about khushi and maybe he knew shyam would hear him fight with khushi if he takes her out in the swimming pool and therefore played a trick ?? i thought he looked genuinely concerned when khushi got hurt? (that door thing)...😕

exactly, i had no issues with the slamming of the door, because it was a genuine accident. but pushing, shoving and marauding the girls arms. i wonder why her arms dont go on strike at the number of times they've been marauded by one and all.
