hey dear..how are you? Thanks to your post. I am having mixed feelings today and I was wondering what to update. Thanks to your post, I kind of made up my mind. :)
However sadistic it may sound, Compared to last two weeks,

Todays episode rocked
Todays ASR rocked
Todays Khushi rocked

I was wondering, what was it with me! I see a person manhandling a woman and I enjoyed episode. Yes I confess I enjoyed the episode. Not because of anything else, today whatever they have showed is the true emotions of a Person who was betrayed in life, the real ASR. I am in no way polishing the manhandling of woman or domestic abuse. As smriti says pig is nevertheless a pig.

But somehow as a viewer I am satisfied today as I get to see the true portrayal of ASRs character. For the last two weeks, we were getting to see a lost ASR and it was baffling to analyse him at all. Even now, It does not make much sense, but at least I got a feeling that Somewhere the character is maintained pretty well.

It took just a flip sentence to bring out the monster in ASR, something which meant harm to Anjali. That is the only thing flipped his button today. He can take any crap from khushi and not respond but not this. For that sentence he reacted violently. I loved it. The situation led to it, the situations resulted from it, all was good. Nicely done by CVs. Somehow I loved it more than the baseless OTT track. As the cliche statement of the forum to justify ASR goes, ASRs reaction was triggered forced by the situations. I agree today, the situation was created intelligently by CVs. So Loved the episode and ASR.

So basically, I enjoyed a episode which worth oodles of bashing from activists for domestic abuse than mindless comedy. It bought a much needed emotions to the story line, true emotions of the protagonists. CVs should have played down the manhandling part, but ASR is known for that. It is one of the traits of the ASR-Khushi equation. CVs already laid the foundation in the first few episodes itself. This is the way ASR gonna treat her..grabbing her shoulders and wrist. Since they have set the standards already, anything less manhandling would have shown a mellowed down ASR and which was not the case today. ASR was at one of his worst moods. So there you go...

Vibha dear how do you mange to write posts so well when you are raving mad!!!!!

One reason i couldn't write nay sensible thing today is my choice of words may end up being bad...but more thatn the serial i am hating this fangirl mentaily...some one commented on the lines of how only a intelligent few can understand ASR's great characchter and still worse someone said Kshui deserved the treatment she is given!!!

I was like oh is that way then!!!

Sad tha as ordinary girl i cannot see the love behind the manhandling and letting her sleep outside and Ah!!!! Arnv at least discovered the couch/recliner in his room!!!

Should we rename him Columbus ASR who discovered the recliner!!!

And CVs do seem to catering to Arnav fans more than anyone else as he has neck sprain one day the next day it disappears and next day he sleeps in recliner!!!
While for that girl we were shouting hoarse but they had to bring her in trough a very wrong timed comedy track!!!

hmmm so no doubt the show and it fans are more Pro Male lead plus hs siter "Didi ki saut" it is

loved your post!!!

Sree hun you know me well by now, I am raving mad...
Exactly!!!!! they are all Barun lovers who see no distinction and I dont care at all for them because to be honest ignorant is in lately...I just hope in reality they know the difference...
I read one post where someone smart again made that comment that its not to pass any message and i thought huh???what was that CEO of star plus harping on about at awards then???that one mopi goes to school then there is a school built in baroda???what was that???they bring social message that man said so...he obviously didnt counted IPK coz there is nothing positive to pass on except to love hate love and then abuse...great!!!!!
It took them one day of neck sprain for ASR to be back in the room and khushi was out for how long???we were going mad but who is listening???one girl wrote that her husband and her fight like that???OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she needs to see a counsellor right now because if thats the mentality i dont know what to say...why are these girls so hopeless???and this story is stupid now...one whole week of holi wasted on these idiotic behaviours

Hey dear, you have your opinion and I respect that...but I guess here we can agree to disagree...I guess looking at things and bringing back original ASR woud have worked had there been no holi episodes...see my way of thinnking is once you mellow down you cant go back to what you were before...why????because you obviouslly thought something to be mellow...if he was the same since holi then i would have thought whatever...but this is wrong!!!! one sentence to flip you???you need medical help...because you cannot control your emotions...thats not a mighty businessman...he needs to think and that should have been done ages ago...
Anyway i do appreciate what you are saying but sweetheart lets just agree to disagree here today then :)

evenjleena28, I think he is sleeping inside 'cause oof Shyam, he dosen't want to give Shyam any more reasons to summon Anjali.. Arnav must hv realised that Shyam tries to sneak into their room..

Yes dear.. As i say, we always end up on the opposite sides, no matter what.😆.
I would say Holi confession did mellow down ASR in a way, or else he would have reacted differently to khushi's antics (my take). But Always, i would say in caps and bold ALWAYS, Anjali comes first for Arnav. There is no comparison with his love and devotion for Anjali and his love for khushi. The feelings for Anjali will beat feelings for khushi any day.

And I bet, even after arhi confess their love to each other, If any situation comes where ASR has to choose between khushi and Anjali, he will choose Anjali without even bating an eyelid. Even after that, if ASR feels khushi is a hindrance to Anjali's life he will just do anything to bring back happiness in Anjali's life. I think thats way the character is established. And his behavior today is so true to that. Wish khushi could get someone who considers her as top priority!.

And one more point, ASR is the hero the serial. So agree. But even the creatives agree that he is dark. He has got dark shades and nowadays he is going through an eclipse and is completely dark with the MU? clouds hovering around. Is it always necessary that hero should be all white? I mean, I have seen lot of movies both bolly and holly where the hero is of darker shade and then at the end kind of redeem himself, even some movies does not even give redemption to heroes. We so relish those movies.

So I personally want to be patient with Arnav's character and his ways. Shyam also treated khushi badly by ogling at her in front of anjali and making her uncomfortable. It was emotional abuse equally painful as ASR abuses. We did not bash him so badly I guess. May be we kind of expected this from the villain. It is the perception i guess which makes all the difference. We always expect our heroes to be good and be the knight in white armour anything else is unexpected. Arnav's character is dark and may be till the end of the show it will evolve and turn out to be a white one as everyone expected.

I am sorry for the ranting. I am just trying to coax you out of your 'angry ASR' moods :)😆. Just kidding. Love and hugs...

I don't understand how Khushi can piece together the puzzle and conclude Arnav is referring to her supposed affair with Shyam when she clearly did not have any such thing to hide in the first place. Yes, she hid the truth about Shyam being the PG in her bua's house who was engaged to her and duped her and her family. She hid it because she wanted to protect Anjali's marriage. Knowing Arnav's temper, she knew that if he comes to know what a two-timer his creep jiju was, he would throw him out and break his Di's heart.

When she realised how obsessive Shyam really was, she was all set to break the truth to Arnav but thought better when she came to know of Anjali's pregnancy. She thought that parenthood would change Shyam. Suddenly her world turned upside down when Arnav, the man she has begun to fall in love with and from whom she was expecting a love confession, suddenly blackmails her into marrying him clandestinely. Given that her sister's marriage was at stake, she had to comply with his unreasonable demand.

Till date she has not be told explicitly the reason for this sudden short-term marriage despite her resorting to all possible ways an 18 year old can come up with. She has been getting these hints that the forced marriage has something to do with her hurting him. Now how is she supposed to connect this dot with her confrontation with Shyam at the terrace a month back which was partially heard by Arnav, when she is not even aware that he was there in the first place?

Yes, she did briefly think that he could have come to know about Shyam's truth but she dismissed that idea because if he had come to know of it, Shyam wouldn't still be freely loitering in Shantivan disturbing everyone's shanti, would he? Knowing Arnav's vitriolic temper, Shyam would have landed in jail by now. That has not happened. She has not witnessed the scenes where Arnav glares at his jiju (either on their SR or today) because she herself was too caught up in her pain.

Even if Arnav knows about Shyam's truth, why would he be angry with her? She was as much as a victim as Anjali. So why should she be singled out for this choice treatment? If at all he thought she still had feelings for a man (which she never had in the first place), what was the point of marrying her and bringing her to live in the same house as that creep?

Any logical way Khushi would look at it will not get her to the bottom of this. The only way Khushi can figure out Arnav based on the so-called loud hints is if she can think as illogically as him. Does she really get the time to think crooked when she doesn't get the time to think straight?

In the meantime, the man who is supposed to be more mature, more experienced, more intelligent, more discerning of people can continue to have selective recollections and keep that shrewd mind of his in hibernation till he breaks the girl completely - body, mind and spirit.

Till then all we can do is wait, watch, bite our nails, tear our hair or just shut of the T.V.

@Opti...This obsession with ASR is just Crazy!!!!!! I have tried all your suggestions (wait, watch, bite our nails, tear our hair or just shut of the T.V) ...now I have short nails...no hair left and bug eyes from staring at the Computer screen on should I or should'nt I watch absolutely fabulous on screen chemistry between the two and or drool over ASR!! Regardless...We are all here because we love Khushi and Arnav's love story ...ASR's hot looks and all those blue, white, brown black shirts and vests. Feels like "neither we can swallow some of the crap shoved our way or spit it out because we love Arnav and Khushi".
We need some "Alkasetzer or Haazmola" ...i mean another track before this indigestion becomes bad for the health...just putting it out there. Love you all, Helen

Vibha,

Hats off to you, for making this post. CVs have totally lost it. Even today's so called "hate" track looked comical. Rewind and watch the I hate you and I hate you more episode. That electricity and spark is gone. Today it felt like they were just going through the motions to finish the shoot. Such was the script and direction. All sentences for Arnav and Kushi were half baked and unrealistic. CVs thought, oh see, each character is speaking incomplete sentences. They are giving each other clues on how to solve this mystery. We CVs are so clever.

I can guarantee you the big reveal (of the truth) will be a major let down as well. So, in my mind, I am just going to watch this for Barun and Sanaya. Don't kow how long that will last, but it certainly is not enough.

Thanks Wesha and Sukri for the lovely messages, that was the saving grace of the day,,,,This show has this tendency to take 2steps ahead and 20back...you would think after winning so many awards and have such a stellar cast they can hire CV's who know what to do with their darn story.1.We got the whole holi week which was full of romance where btw the great ASR saw and heard jija's monolouge and he himself confessed to a girl who "DESERVES" to be treated badly...he in a oh so grand manner remembered that confession too but forgot everything else. Then decided to be nice for a day with a sprained neck and we thought maybe he has decided to be cordial atleast.2.Khushi started out with something great but forgot the route along the way and was shown really OTT...she doesnt remember anything at all...how very convient of the CV's...they thought we all have consumed bhang too and wont remember anything, like the most idiotic MU on this planet...So today:ASR is back people...this man is ceritifed bipolar its official...he remembers the terrace scene, great!!!!!!! now about the other bits where he saw jija talk to himself???? and frankly speaking for a man who is so smart why bring the lust of jija's desire into the house????that was your first mistake ASR!!!!!!!!! good on you CV's couldnt think of anything else could you???Hated how he slammed her hand. It doesnt matter whether it was intentional or not. That is besides the point...he hurt her and that is WRONG!!!!!!!!! First yelling then mandhandling and hurting and then banging the door on someones hand. Oh wait the great and mighty ASR can do no wrong what am I talking about...this is the cycle of abuse...honeymoon phase, tension building and then bam!!!!! erupting!!!!!! good on you CV's that is your unbelievable story an abusive HERO on small screen!!!!!!! ASR!!!! I have no words for you...you remember what khushi and jija said on the terrace but why in the world arent you seeing anything after that???please dont tell me you are hurt!!!! oh poor me...you didnt see the poor girls behaviour since that day and afterwards???and what about your jija????Thank goodness honeymoon didnt happen, I just couldnt handle more fights somewhere else...its bad to watch it at RM a great place like Bali would be slap on the face...CV's could you please talk to someone who has brains and try to clear this horrible horrible MU please???it has outstayed its welcome and no one likes it...ask one person and not one person will say they are happy with this track...you want more awards next year too dont you???then work towards it...I dont agree with the fact that ASR is back...he is still the same a man who doesnt think...oh he gave khushi hint???how great...so this is a game right????you give me hint and i find the issue???he doesnt have time to figure things out himself and he is the smart one...but khushi has got the hint so she must work on it???what double standards...and a baloney in my opinion...The only smartness here comes from is shyam...i knew he will use anji and he did...that guy is the only one who uses his brain and how???and the way he boought anji today should atleast give some "HINT" to ASR that jija doesnt want second chance and that cot thing he did...just show off...No words to say what to make of today...good in a way that hopefully this darn track will move on but not happy that ASR is back...

I dont get why in the world are we getting this ???first hate, then comedy, then love and then back to hate????now what???I have read books with complex twists but this show just takes the cake for me...no clue whats going on...great he gave her the bed...how nice of him...nevermind its his responsibilty to do so...oh and he took the recliner did i see that???oh yes i saw so this guy couldnt even sleep out one night properly and he made her sleep outside for a whole month or more???bravo...must be love...why am i not seeing this then???

Hi Vibha

Just loved your post. Its only few of us here think the same way like you. Rest all are enjoying ASR is back and I have read posts where they say Kushi deserves it blah blah. ASR has never stopped hurting her since the first time he met her. And now he expects her to understand what she has done wrong without confronting her.
