I understand where you are coming from Tanths..Dignity of labour is a foreign concept in India..It goes without saying that realistically, ASR's image should go for a toss the moment his contemporaries and colleagues hear about Mrs. Raizada catering to his employees..And yes, as you said, it would have been different if she just owned the catering company and had a staff for doing all the cooking and delivering..But that is not the case..
What I was getting at is that maybe Khushi doesn't care about his dignity much 'cause she wants to rile him up, she wants him to throw her out..She is going all out here to get a rise out of him..A lot of people are saying Khushi's venture should be applauded as it touched on a societal issue, dignity of labour..I am saying go all out for it! But if ASR stops her from working at his office, then no one should cry foul, and start hollering about gender equality, human rights etc. At the end of the day, dignity, status, respect all tossed aside, it will be a corporate decision, a business move, its his company and he retains the sole right to decide who caters for AR..
Tanu,
In that case would not that go against the very basic traits of Khushi...Khushi never brought out their fights in public...The battles were vicious but fought quietly and in privacy ... Khushi did not go there with the intention to rile him at all !!..That is a misconception ..
I agree, if AR decides not to allow her to continue her service then Khushi must accept it as a business decision and not make it personal..
