Hello peeps, Tant won't be able to open IP Redux today, so me here. Well I am back from a small hiatus. Hope you missed me; but I missed you all so much and Redux; being here just relax me mentally after my day's work. Analyzing is like therapy for me like cooking is to many. I will put the page number of Tant's analysis after she updates. 😃 Tant have updated her post and she is on PAGE 3. Tant, just read yours. It's TANTASTIC. 👏

Here I am with my weekly analysis as promised and so please please bear with me today; it will be very long. Believe me this weekly review was a blessing in disguise for me. It's like a wakeup call for me in what I am watching. I'll give this serial till May end to revive back otherwise I will quit watching. The loss will be all 4 Lions' and the Channel's. Why???IP Redux is the only thread where the serious critical analysis is done and not drooling on ASR or Khushi or Shyaam ; neither we defend the actions of Arnav nor we defend the actions of Khushi. When a movie is released the first thing the producer and audience seek for is the critical reviews and not the Fan fanatics as they come later. Remember Critical reviews are important for a Production House to judge their work. So, if me and Tant are out, God save you 4 Lions and Star, you will have no unbiased critics. Whatever I will write today it will be from bird's eye view 'coz I'll take into consideration the entire week episodes. I will talk about everyone from Sanaya Irani, Barun Sobti, Abhaas Mehta, Daljeet, Utkarsha, Aakash, JT, Deepali, 4 Lions, Art Direction, Star to the CVs and the Director; each and every one.

Before I pen down my thoughts I would like to tell you 2 stories related to the storyline. When we were kids, my bro had this friend in his boarding school. He came home on vacation and something he wanted to purchase. When his Mom declined his request, he didn't give up. What he did was he went to Howrah Railway Station (Kolkata, India) and became a luggage bearer of the passengers for a day and earned the money he wanted to for his purpose. I was moved by the will and the action of that boy then some 20 years back and still now. It always gives me the will to move forward and find a way even without letting your family members down. No, he didn't ruin his parents' image and reputation here; he didn't use the "SURNAME" of his family to earn his money; He didn't intrude in his parents' workplace instead he made his own entity and worked as an individual and held his head high and made a place for himself in this world even for a day. He was a kid and I saluted his thought process then and now. Some of you might have understood why I narrated this story but for people in 4 Lions and Star I will explain it later.

Another truth is of me; I have shared long back with Tant about this story of mine even before this week's episodes. When I was dating this one guy some 8 years back, I was a teenager then, I told him since we are in a relationship, I will judge you with your attitude and certain behavioral aspects. If I find any time that your thought process is delusional or I don't like your attitude and some of your actions doesn't satisfy me then I will make a list and informed him if the list crosses 50, I am outta this relationship. Well one day when we had some tiff in opinions I showed him that the list is already on number 10. He was astonished to learn that and said' " Are you kidding??? You really made the list??? I thought you were just kidding".. Well my reply was ' "What you think of me??? That much you know me??? Don't you dare take me for granted'???" Now, this is "Doods" for you. Yes, this is me, I think way ahead of times. What 4 Lions will think tomorrow, I will think today. Gorky proudly said in the FB fan page ' "What 101 ways you will do to annoy your darling '" and I will say ' "51 chances to give your husband to save the marriage". That's me.

My Bird's eye view as of today:-

Arnav remembers and Khushi doesn't'how convenient??? Just so that the track moves on without her knowledge that she spilled the beans in front of Shyaam and Arnav remembers his realization and not Khushi's??? What a terrific track for the MU' one word "PATHETIC". So, Khushi is complete ignorant of the reason behind Shyaam's new found "Himmat"; Arnav is embarrassed on the fact that even what has happened he still loves Khushi; Khushi is exactly standing where she was before the Holi. Shyaam's entrapment. Arnav's move to test Shyaam; Make Arnav believe that he has changed but Khushi is not letting him do that. WOW. Whatta plan. ( Can anyone tell me has Arnav's brain gone for a moonwalk??? Or he had a selective amnesia??? How the hell did he not recollect that Shyaam is the one who wanted to apply gulaal on Khushi in front of the entire janta present in the holi??? When was the Holi day in IPK calendar' 3 days back is it???) Then Arnav will believe Khushi is a "CHEATER" as she said she'll not tell anyone the secret but she said; The much needed fuel will come when Arnav will be made to believe that what Khushi's new found entrepreneurship is just to help Shyaam monetarily. So, he'll MU and hate Khushi and because of this sudden volteface in Arnav's behavior, Khushi will suspect something wrong; Shyaam will put Khushi in a controversial position in front of Arnav painting her in a much worsen canvas; Then comes Khushi's actions and taking care of Anjali and the family will increase the confusion in Arnav's mind. Next will be Arnav's I Hate you in line; we will see the repentance and confession. So, we are heading towards confession as the "I hate you" loop opened already months back. Chalo show khatam and sab apne apne ghar jao.

"I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions" ~ Stephen R. Covey

I always believed dreams are very strong and they should fly like a butterfly but watching the torturous and pathetic episodes of this week I am forced to believe that Dreams are limited for IPK family, 4 Lions and Star Plus.

What is Payal's dream??? Get an acceptance from her Saasumaa??? Did she think beyond that??? Whenever someone mentions about Shyaam, like today, all we see is her making a sad and concerned face. That's it??? Where is the character growth here from last june to this march??? Nothing. Did you ever do a research on her character??? No. why??? because we only are told to concentrate on Khushi and Arnav and we need to cater to some 13-14 years old viewers who will be making some 100 posts on "OMG, Arnav is so HAWT". You see, we have so much work to do. Show his bare torse in the bathroom with soap clad face so that viewers look at him and dream at night. How PATHETIC thinking??? Did she ever think how is Khushi breathing when that Creep is in the house??? What is the exact reason Khushi got married??? Ok. Concentrate on the "Saas-bahu" saga but think beyond that God damnit. Keep your options open for Payal's future thought process. I know "Saas-Bahu" saga contributes some percentage in the TRP chart but if you really want to be different than other production houses then do dream big. Try to make a difference in the character growth and the storyline.

Next is Anjali's dream. What is her dream btw??? Shyaam, Shyaam and only Shyaam. In June all she was "Yeh rahete to sab thik kar dete", in March, "Woh humare paas hain'humhein aur kuch nehin chahiye". WOW. Whatta character growth. I wonder why Daljeet doesn't say anything??? She is such a wonderful and adorable actress and just being in the center of the story doesn't make your character look good. I donno what Gorky, Gul and Nissar's thought process consists of. I mean, she is the Mother and doesn't even dream to choose crib for her baby??? Shyaam has to surprise that??? And what her expressions were??? "Tears of Joy". Oh WOW. Today what happened??? Naani ko pucho which color to choose for the blanket. I was Lady your hubby wanted a girl and Naani chose bluish purple, speak up??? I know it's good to allow the elders to choose but this is also your first born. Don't you have any dreams??? Oh yeah I forgot, 4 Lions and Star have limited your dreams. Kya karein??? You can only dream when you are allowed to like when your bro got married and shattered your dreams. Fantastic. Oh one more thing, I thank God, you people listened on Anjali not calling Khushi Bhabhi'But make it Khushi and not Khushiji. Anjali is eldest here and she need not use "Ji" now since they are related.

Maami:- Utkarsha Naik is one actress who always makes me smile; no doubt this week too she did a good job with her "on the rocks". I guess IPKKND is "On the Rocks". This week seemed so. The only thing that I loved this week's progress is Maami-Payal storyline. Well what's her dream??? To banish Payal from RM. That's it??? Oh yeah and get Aakash married to a rich girl. But I tell you what she is the one character who atleast dream big and work towards it but it's a different ballgame that the dream should be JUST. Unjust dreams are never fulfilled; so, 4 Lions' is saved here. I liked the innuendo in Monday's episode and that gave me a little ray of hope for Maami's character growth for the future. Maami said "Langar" why??? First clarify, is this serial based on UP culture or Sikhism??? Where did "Langar" making come into picture???

Naani:- I am sooo damn pissed with 4 Lions' today. Why the hell are you butchering her character??? She is one of the finest characters in IPK family??? Do you ever realize that there are audiences who watches Television and learn things from them??? If you see the recent survey then you'll figure out the deterioration in today's generation on reading books. People watch TV more and learn from serials and you teach them how elders behave like the way Naani did??? I have seen my parents, when Dad used to scold us Mom never would utter a single word and vice-versa. Always remember, Maami is elder than Anjali, Khushi, Payal, Arnav and Aakash. I know she is not right always but Naani has no right to disgrace her in front of the younger generations. Never. What is Naani teaching the audiences??? That when elders are wrong, then put them in their place in front of the youngsters, that too in front of her DILs??? So, what will the younger generations learn from her??? That's why Maami says "Khoon bhari taang"; why won't she??? Naani paved the way isn't it??? Don't you dream big for Naani??? Can't she have any other dialogue than showing Manorama that she is still unaccepted even after she wishes well for the family??? Grow up CVs and 4 Lions and dream big. In June, Naani used to say the same dialogue, in March, Naani is saying the same dialogue. Instead I would have given you accolades if Naani would have said, "Anjali, tum rang pasand karo, yeh nanhi pari tumhari hain, tumhe haq hain".

I loved the innuendo in Naani's dialogue ' "Shukr hai Bhagwaan ka kamsekam Manorama Chote ki baat to sunat hai". We see two options: 1. Either when the truth will be out, Arnav will save Payal from Maami or 2. Maami for the first time will scourge Arnav on not disclosing the truth or rather supporting Khushi. (I would love to see this). So, definitely loop opened here.

Aakash:- I like his character. You know why??? Whatever he does he does it with conviction. One of the beautifully crafted characters is Aakash's. Yes, he is firm in his judgment and he does it with subtlety. I loved the Tea and fruit scene with Maami and savoring the nice aroma of the lunch box; His character doesn't dream big but his character teaches Arnav the nuances of life. If you notice carefully then it is always Aakash who shows Arnav the "chote chote khushiyaan"' I loved when he smelled the tiffin box and then looked at Arnav, who in turn was surprised seeing him but upon knowing it's from Payal, he nodded in affirmation; what we saw??? Arnav relishing the food made by Khushi. But at least I see his character has the determination but dreaming??? No. Growth??? May be a little.

Shyaam's dream??? Oh yeah, he does have a dream; enjoying with Saale Sahab's money and Khushi's anatomy. Shyaam reading "Economic Times"??? I am impressed. I thought he would never go beyond Cosmopolitan. Let me talk to the script writer here, oh sorry, let me talk to the whole IPK team. Where were you in August??? Let me remind you busy with Arnav-Khushi chemistry. Isn't it??? See??? I tell you, it was after his revelation to the audience that he indeed is Anjali's husband. What was the scene at the dining table??? I have seen a house and will take Rani Sahiba. What did Arnav say??? Sure, "Agar Di chahte hain toh tab tak Di ko yahan rahene dijiye". Am I right??? Now where in the world did the money transfer come in the picture??? If there were always money been transferred to the joint a/c then why Shyaam will sneak out money from Anjali with tricks. Yaad aaya kuch??? I don't forget so soon. [I don't analyze BBT (Big Bang Theory) but I can say in which episode Sheldon did say certain dialogues]. Whatta continuation in the storyline??? Here I was shouting about your dreams being limited and there I find out entire Shyaam's character analysis is a big FIASCO. Now, tell me how you will justify Shyaam's move??? On one hand he needs Arnav's money and on other hand he betrays his bank balance. WOW. How can anyone justify his moves??? If this was the case then why in the first place he would commit to the crime in front of Arnav??? Shyaam was always portrayed as the "Self Respectable - Khuddar" person and you have changed him to a "Back Stabber" now. Who is writing the story here??? I was write in the beginning that Shyaam would save his ass'remember my 3 predictions in Feb 9th analysis??? Anjali was always his "Ace" and will be and so is "Arnav". What the hell have you done with his character traits??? Above all Abhaas, how pathetic his acting was today upon learning that the money is not transferred to his account??? Where is the agony and irritation??? Gear up Abhaas, "Cine world never salutes a setting Sun". Remember this. Loved the innuendo ' "Mat kholiye naa RaniSahiba'maje li jiye 'aram se 'itminaan se.." yaa yaa, nehin kholegi' as it is 4 Lions will let her open the eyes after all nonsense track been used and nothing in hand will be available in their pea sized brains.

Khushi ' Arnav's Dreams:- They are leads and I never knew that God had only made Adam and Eve and we doesn't matter. Right??? I mean the other characters don't matter right??? I have never seen a PH where they happily shappily butcher the female character. Why the females are butchered??? Is it because we live in a male dominated society and to make the male character look good, what's the best option??? Oh yeah'butcher the female lead. How convenient??? Isn't it??? First Barun went on leave and now Sanaya is going on leave for almost a week; So, story line gaya tel lene and Shyaam's achanak prakat. Now they remembered the drama??? Where was it when the forced rabba ve scenes were imposed with pathetic "Old wine in new bottle" concept??? Whatta discontinuation'.complete volte face in Monday's episode just to bring in RV'first part I liked but the last part ruined it. Monday was good a bit, Tuesday and Wednesday they massacred and Thursday, they somehow managed to pull their socks off and Friday, oh what they did??? "Corporate Ethics" butchered by none other than Khushi Kumari Gupta - Singh Raizada.

Before I get into the corporate ethics, I must say, dreams of 4 Lions are so limited. They wanted a track on Khushi taking over the bedroom. Fine. Did you brain storm on this on how to go about??? No. why would you??? You have everything in your archive right??? From you old project. Am I right?? Why generate new ideas when you can portray the same scenes with different actors??? I am surprised why no one even noticed it yet. Tell me one thing what did you all brief Sanaya on the takeover scenes??? Why the hell did I feel it was someother actress and not SI??? How many times did she have watched your archives on the Outhouse take over scene in Geet??? Her mannerisms and acting was constantly reminding me of your old project. Why you all walking down the same ideas??? So, old wine in a new bottle therapy. Atleast understand the situations are different. There it was no love involved here it is involved. When Khushi put the sugar cubes or mango juice she was not even close to feel the heartbeats for Arnav and God's sake now the situations are different. Do you think it's fun to watch her acting like a 7th Grader??? When you use your old ideas atleast do check the parameters. Get some new ideas God damnit. What NONSENSE??? What the hell you did to her character??? I am so happy ASR said ' "I am not cheap".You said you all learnt from the mistakes of Geet and this is what you have learnt???

I love Sanaya Irani. Did you see her in the post Diwali Car scene and her breaking down in her room therafter??? I want that Sanaya Irani back. That's it. PERIOD. But I didn't like her acting this week. It was completely OTT and her compassion and sympathy gone berserk??? It was this Khushi who in Diwali said "inhe meetha mana hain.." even after he thrashed her heart and today, she didn't even prepare the sugarfree sweets for Arnav which clearly indicates that she didn't even take into consideration to serve him food at office. This is how you made her character??? Where is the subtlety??? Where is the compassion??? Where is the sympathy??? You always maintain ASR's character. He never tortures Khushi on purpose and there was always a reason behind his every action. Even after Diwali when Khushi got hurt he went to the temple and nursed her ring finger and Khushi??? She started to taunt Arnav in sucha humiliating way??? "Gala daaba doon???" What was that??? Why didn't you maintain the same for Khushi??? Oh yeah Dreams are limited for Khushi. Right??? Rs. 300 and not Rs. 1 Lakh nor the Rs. 25000 nor the Medical Bill that Arnav paid or thinking what is the "chot" that caused Arnav to react like this. Why will she??? She is not a proactive person and her vision is very shortsighted. Isn't it???

Now think about the story I said in the beginning about the boy??? Yes, what Khushi did today??? Disclosing the "MISCOMMUNICATION and EMOTIONAL DISTANCE" between the husband and wife in the bedroom to the entire world. WOW. Take a BOW 4 Lions. You have really showed 101 ways to butcher a character like "Khushi". I am happy with her entrepreneurship and I think I mentioned this somewhere that to return Arnav, Rs. 1 Lakh, she will work outside and NK will help her. But I have completely forgotten that you would put Khushi on a pedestal as "Devi Annapurna"... there's a saying in bengali "Juto mere goru daan", means "first kick out and then shower with presents" and forget the Corporate Ethics completely. What CRAP. She didn't even for a moment think what will happen to Payal??? Where have all the concerns for "jiji " talks of Khushi gone??? Why didn't Aakash ask about this??? And the Pizza delivery??? They delivered the pizza somewhere and who is this kind hearted receiver received it and paid in full??? What Crap is this??? Gear up 4 Lions. This is not the way you tell a story to the world. How weak script-writing with no heads and tails??? I felt as if after some days it will be a sitcom and not a soap opera.

I thought her Mom taught her whatever happens in the bedroom stays in the bedroom' have she forgotten that??? This is how you portray a married couple??? Husband doesn't know what the wife's been doing and wife doesn't leave a chance to taunt the hubby??? You will say all this she is doing to get thrown out and create more MU. Oh stop that crap. I am very hard to please. Do it with logic. She is planning to earn money from the employees and not even informing or cracking a deal with AR or thinking someone might be already in the business. Who are your audiences??? 5th graders or matured peoples. I get that is a good idea but why ruining ASR's image??? Do it outside on your own or create a way for her to get into AR for your so called "Office Romance" and please stop ASR's one sided unnecessary Rabba Ve. It's seriously losing its essence. The only genuine this week RV was yesterday's - "businessman ki patni..."

You have just made a situation where she needs to step in and gets success with her talent. I think we change the idiom ' "Jack of all trades and master of none" to "Khushi of all trades and master of all". How pathetic. God sometimes I feel proud to be an Indian and sometimes I feel pathetic on our pseudo thought processes. We are giving you 2 months' time to get your storyline in process with the character traits intact and if you don't then well, you'll see your destiny. For Stephen Covey says ~ "If the ladder is not leaning against the right wall, every step we take just gets us to the wrong place faster".

Welcome back doods...you were greatly missed but Sathu was brilliant and providing us the daily dose...

What a great piece you have written feel like printing it, framing it and sending it the CVS...so that if by chance they do not visit IF and miss it here...they are sure to see the framed version...

I commented the day before yesterday to Sathu that "good for doods that she is happy on her vacation and not stewing like us..."😆 I guess that gives you the general idea of our brain waves...

Butchering of characters and storyline is at its best at the moment and since Sanaya is on leave I am assuming the saas bahu association fancy dress will be in full force next week along with our darling twitching snake...

I am wondering when the story will move forward...when will ASR visit the lost and found section of RM to retrieve his lost brain...when will Khushi start working on the real issues of her life...of finding out why Arnav hates her and if he does then why did he marry her??, how to get rid of Shyam...Earning money is good I agree but it would have been better if her motivation had come from her need to be independent rather than ASR's loan of 300 (and I am glad you mentioned the 100K contract money and 25K car dent money and 30K hospital bill which she is forgetting about conveniently) ...

you are right and I feel it is not just khushi who has lost her essence post diwali...IPKKND has too...I still love it but the constant see saw of story line and amnesic attacks on CVs and in turn characters is making it lose its charm...

Waiting for Sathu's post...Am super happy that staying up till 2:00 am served its purpose and I for the very first time got to comment not only the first page but first...

Hey nice t have you back 😊
I had written a long long post but the page closed and I lost what i wrote, so this may not make as much sense as it could.
The writing has been sloppy and haphazard recently with no continuity. To pay back 300 she started her new venture, she could not pay back 300 so how did she get the money to start her new business? Thursday's episode mentioned that she had got an advance of 10,000, i take it that means a loan? However how can she get a loan whenshe has no collateral? She may have used her new surname but then i co-sign would sill be required.
She wants to work and earn her own money good for her, but her method of starting the business i find strange, I also find it very srange they way everyone was grabbing for a tiffin box. At least ASR tried to take abreath andhave a conversation with her when he asked her to sit. She seemed a bit nervous at that point and then once she was sitting shewent intoa more comic role.I am glad whenASRstarted to say i will give you money she said she would earn her own,had it been a real marriage then it would havebeen different. The other money that she owes seems tohave been convinientlyforgotten by the cvs - though for me she does not owe on the medical bill just the other two.
He has said he does not want her to prvide food service to ASR he did no say anywhere else, monday will let us in on that score, but maybe this is a scenario that was needed for some boundaries to be set in the relationship, they need to start communicating with each other.
ASR asking her she did not consider his image, he never considered it when he got the security guards to make sure she could not enter the office previously, nor when hewas throwing water on her nor when he announced to the whole office that they will all cancel their orders and not order anything from her.A bit late in the day for image to be considered.
<font color="#006600" size="2" face="Comic Sans MS">The much needed fuel will come when Arnav will be made to believe that what Khushi's new found entrepreneurship is just to help Shyaam monetarily. So, he'll MU and hate Khushi and because of this sudden volteface in Arnav's behavior, Khushi will suspect something wrong</font>
<strong></strong>
I hope that it does not play out as above as she started her business before ASR stopped the money from going into the joint account, she would not have known what he planned to do, even he hesitated, so if they use this to create a MU for that purposeit will betaking creative license to far, though they have at times already done that. He used his head today and realised quickly who the new lunch provider was, i hope his brain is mking a come back.
ASR asked when he came down where Khushi was, he also did that the day she challenged him and left for her buaji's house, he has got used to having her around.
I am glad Nani supported her, nahi soch even if it'sonly for a few seconds. They keep referring to the baby as a girl? Is Anjali far enough along to have had this confirmed if yes then i find the colour selection unsual. In regards to Nani scolding Mami, i have seen older generations say nasty things with younger generations present so for me that actually does occur.
Shayam - ASR: so ASR had the money transferre into Anjali's sole account, though he hesitated and they showed the flashback with the roses and the crib, i found that strange. If he had second thoughts because he did not want to worry Anjali or did not want to hurt her, it would have been more understandble. BUt that flashback makes it look like he thinks Shayam is actually trying to change. Even if does not remember far as the wedding to his conversationwith Shaym or how he saw Shayam looking at Khushi in the badroom there were more recent examples when he saw Shayam try twice to put colour on Khishi on Holi. I am glad ASRwent through with it and stopped the money though i am waiting to see how he gets it from Anjali. I had the the same thought as you if the money prior to now was being transferred to a joint accout why would he need to trick Anjali for money. Also at one point he wanted Anjali to look bad i front of Khushi he asked her to look after his expenditure.
I do not live in India so i am not aware of what privacy laws are in place but can any one ring up request balance of an account with a four digit code and that isit?
In regards Khushi telling Shayam - she told him why she married ASR, but did not say that it was only for 6 months. I amhoping thatonce the MU start clearing up theycan use that in some way, because if she had feeling for Shayam and she mentionedthe time frame toShayam he could have sat back and waited for the 6 months to be over.
Khushi's compassion and sympothy and being OTT, while i did not like Wednesday's episode, onMonday when she found out he had the wrong tablets her first thought was him nothing else, the rest occured after she had the MU that he did it on purpose - which was understandable on her part considering the conversation earlier outside the bathroom. Ugh mentioning the bath reminded me of how that bathso does not fit intowhat a bath should look like for amansion like that.
All her OTT acting was after that scene and i agreethat it could have been scripted better, but she was trying to acheive what she set out to do, though she did not think that if she did what she was doing then he could just have easily threathened Payal's marriage again. I made comments on one the previous Redux's post regarding him remebering at least part of his confession if notall and as a result himmellowing a bit. A monologue where she would have thought about his neck for a few seconds would have had the desired effect to show compassion even if she then discarded the idea becasue of what she thought he was trying to do to Payal's marriage.
I just wish the CVS were more consistent with their approach, it was only a few days ago she was trying to find out why he had married her and how she had hurt him and now its like she does not remember that. If it was a case of that she doesn't want to rock the boat because Arnav would threaten Payals marriage than all they needed to do was put in a quick scene where she is having that conversation with herself to show that she has not gotten amnesia. It was an episode this week whereshe thought Shayam was getting to much and something needed to be done but no mention of it again for the rest of the week. I don't expect the plan to be revealed at this stage but some continuity would be nice.
Sorry the post ended up being longer than i planned.

You've summed up my sentiments EXACTLY.

I was actually hoping that after reading your and Tanthya's posts I would feel a bit better - maybe understand some deeper hidden meaning but I really am at a loss of words.

I am seriously so frustrated with this show right now. I just don't understand what the heck is going on. What should have been a SERIOUS storyline (remember the "passion" that Gul was talking about?) has now turned into a comedy circus. I just don't understand why the writers are slacking off so? Is it because IPKKND won 4 awards at SPA? I really am just so disappointed with the direction this storyline is going in, it is almost as if the writers feel that the few "Rabba Ve's" that get thrown our way will appease the audience due to the lack of any logical storyline.

I really have to think of what BS had said in his interview. How the writers have made mistakes but the audience hasn't noticed it. I disagree. We have noticed the mistakes, but we always had an idea of the bigger picture. We always saw *some* direction or motive despite the inconsistencies in storyline direction. However right now? I have no idea what this slapstick comedy is supposed to accomplish.

You are so right when you say that Khushi was acting like an immature brat. THIS is not Khushi. I understand that she has always been feisty and fearless, but above all of that she has been shown to be a caring individual who puts others feelings (those who she cares for) above all else. She KNOWS that she has hurt Arnav but now suddenly she is content with that? She enjoys his discomfort? "Apka gaala dabadein"? It just boggles my mind. I don't even know what to analyze this past week because NOTHING fits into the story that I thought the writers were trying to portray. A story of two individuals who love each other despite not wanting to love each other. This week I saw absolutely nothing of the sort. Khushi showed absolutely no regard for Arnav, when in actuality Khushi should have been trying to figure out the REASON for the marriage in her zany, crazy ways. I mean, Khushi, the woman who values the sanctity of marriage is now scheming ways to get her husband to dump her? There's no regard to how her family will react to that? I mean seriously, do these CVs think that we have all left our brains behind prior to switching on the t.v.? We always see examples of how despite not wanting to, Arnav cares about Khushi. But how many times have we seen Khushi show the same? Seriously, stopping a diabetic from eating sweets doesn't show love. I would do that for anyone simply because it is dangerous for them to have a sugar high.

I NEED more from Khushi. This story is a love story. I need to see the love.

Honestly, the only character that kept me even remotely interested is Shyam, because I feel at least with his actions this storyline will PROGRESS in a way that is keeping in line with what should be expected of this track. Even in the past, the comedy has served a purpose. Khushi making jalebis that spelled out Arnav showed how despite her opposition, Arnav was ingrained her in every thought process.

You hit the nail on the head when you said that Arnav's character has been preserved whereas with Khushi it seems that the writers are taking free reign adapting her to the track on hand. Even still, I don't even understand this passive Arnav. THIS is not how Arnav should be reacting. He was hurt, and shattered over the thought that the woman he loved was having relations with his brother-in-law. Where is that anger? Why the sudden toleration of Khushi's actions? I just don't get it. It is really frustrating me because this show has so much potential. I mean babuji is stuck in a wheelchair and he KNOWS the truth! When are the writers going to use this tidbit? The time for comedy has passed, the story SHOULD be taking a serious turn now because this hate marriage SHOULD have been a serious track. I just feel as if the CVs chickened out on the story simply because they were spammed with posts from the younger generation all complaining about how they didn't like this dark turn.

I feel as if they are making every character into a caricature. Shyam is the typical eeevil villian who now suddenly relies on his jijaji for money. Doesn't he have a job? I don't mind showing how money hungry Shyam is but suddenly why lay it on so thick? Khushi is just self-explanatory. She's become a clown this week.

I'm just so disappointed in the lack of any logic. I don't need fluff to keep me entertained. These writers have kept the audience glued to their screen so far, so why resort to cliches?

You are giving them until May? I am giving them until the end of April.

Hey Doodleberry!!!

Welcome back!! I missed your views but when I read it today, I realized that how much I actually missed it. The CV's really needed ear-pulling and your post was all that. It was mind-blowing 👏👏👏

This week they have done nothing but kept showing us what the viewers demanded in this forums or on FB. Shower scene chahiya-shower scene dikhao, shirtless Barun chahiye- shirtless Barun dikhao, rabba-vey's chahiya - rabba-vey's dikhao. It was way beyond "Pathetic". I really cannot tell you how much I appreciate your post especially Payal (is she really the elder sister), shirtless Barun, the damn one-sided love of Arnav and most importantly, the 10 year old Khushi who's conveniently forgotten that she got married in excoriating circumstances and she still does not know the reason for it as well as that there is a creep lusting after her, who is none other than her husband's BIL. Wouldn't this be her priority especially when she knows that she has not given a time limit to return the money to the person who is none other than her husband? Also, is she really 10 or 5 because I do not see any hint of that inbuilt female radar which immediately recognizes when someone is interested in you, in a good or the bad way?

Today when I saw the episode the only thought at the end of it was "Toofan Mail Express train" whose only intention is reaching the station not caring what is in her path. Wasn't this ASR's trait or has she acquired even that in her 25 days of marriage? My only question to the CV's is, why are they being so inconsistent with Khushi's character. Anyone in the world, in fact even a son, would have let their family know before starting a new venture. Then, she is an Indian girl from a small-town, how can she take such a big decision without even, forget consulting but at least intimating her family. She is someone who gives utmost importance to family and is filled with Indian values or have the Guptas given all the family/marital duty sense and values only to Payal. There is that girl who is taking advice on the color of the blanket with Anjali pointing her towards Nani and then there is this girl who just barges in and calmly says, that I have started a business, really? I loved Nani and her totally modern attitude but are these the same people who reprimanded her when she went to the Gupta's without giving a reason. As you have already addressed the issue of business ethics and the fight outside the bedroom, I will not speak on it again.I will just say, I am so with you on that.

Atleast, the only good part about it is that though Arnav patiently endured all her antics inside the bedroom, he lashed out at her today when she took it to the outside world. If he would have kept his silence, I would have personally killed the CV's.

Well as the show has to go on, below is my analysis for today:

I am being optimist but I will keep my faith in CV's as long as the IP-REDUX thread goes on

Today episode also reminded me of this day. During this moment, she kept on making assumptions, and based on those assumptions, kept justifying herself. That time, too, she did not stop to think or confirm if her assumptions are correct. That time, too, she did not let Arnav speak, forcing him to resort to threats to let his message get across. When she realized the actual truth, she went into a dazed mode, happy but dazed. Similarly now, based on her assumptions she is reacting, she is thinking her assumptions are right, and she is hell bent on finding the solution without understanding the real problem. When she realizes the truth, confronts the reality, she is seriously going to be dazed, in fact dazed would be too mild a word to explain her predicament, she will be in a state of distraught. Her, this habit of reacting before confirming the facts, is so going to be her downfall.

"Hum sirf swaad ka nahi, ehsaas ka bhi khayal rakte hain"

Today, they showed in parallel, Arnav's interaction with Khushi and Shyam on the monetary matters. Shyam is angry that Arnav is not transferring money (Yes,doods, why was he swindling money from his wife and what happened to the "Khuddar" Shyam who was going to take her away from RM to a new house??) and at the same time, Khushi is struggling to pay him back money because she does not want money from him.

Arnav, today in a minute, connected the dots just by looking at the tiffin box. Hopefully, when the times comes (and his brain from the long vacation), he will connect the dots and realize that, how can a person who is so hell bent on paying him back Rs 300, be in love with a person who is using foul means to acquire money from him, how can she have such a bad taste ? How can a person who does not even like hurting an outsider, who took measures to ensure that no one is hurt by her new business endeavor, who takes care of everyone's feelings i.e.ehsaas, hurt Anjali, someone she cares about. by stealing her husband.

Again, whichever route they take, whichever story line they choose, I hope CV's stick to one story line and work towards it, instead of changing it as per the viewers. We are here because we liked the story, their thought process not because they promised to show us viewer's wishes and viewer's thought processes.

i am not yet done reading doods, but i am sure i will agree with most of it!!

the point that caught my attention here was the one sided love story!! so arnav remembers and khushi doesn't! how convinient?! exactly what i was thinking! it is just so easy to skip the screen play and leave a blank on what khushi remembers just so they could get back to her dhak dhak the next time they drink bhanng?!?

i for one; have been very much irked with this arnav loves khushi! so much so; i think this quote suites him :
love is about giving; and not expecting anything in return!
that is the extent to which the CVs pushed me to presume!

this is an SP thing! it definitely is! the PH had such lovely ideas but SP wanted a weeping; bouncing gleeing khushi just so she could sit and wait for the next favourite beti award!! i really wish 4lions got their way and took the story ahead the way they wanted!

love to sathu.. and will get back when i finish reading!

Wow doodleberry -- I am on Page 1
Agree with you on all the points... seems like the CVs have lost it completely... they keep hitting the reset button on all characters and make them chew on nimbu... Khushi goes through this a lot. Arnav was spared till the terrace incident -- character was completely off last week.
Payal , anji , maami - no growth at all.
Are they killing time till ME?
P.S. Did not understand the Shyam and Anjali moving out of the house and money transfer. Shyam was purportedly looking for a house -- the whole thing was a sham ... and he would have used this money anyway...

Doods this is the first time I am commenting on your post, but always enjoyed reading Sathya's and yours...all I can say is its a wonderful analysis loved every bit of it, just like you most of the episodes this week left a bitter taste in my mouth, there is no continuity in the story from last week. I too firmly believe he remembers the confession and she doesn't, otherwise she would not have uttered the words nafrat and ghinn the next day, the same words she used for Shyam on the terrace scene.
The reason ASR is putting up with her antics is simply because he remembers the confession and does not want to go in the hate mode, until he comes to know again she blurted out the reason for their marriage that is blackmail to Shyam which will again create MU between them.

I am too for independent Khushi but they did not handle the whole track well, it was more of a comedy to me and lacked seriousness completely, on the whole the execution was poor, also could not take Khushi' OTT antics on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Finally don't know where the show is heading at all, so many loose ends, Khushi had different thought process everyday, first was to find the reason for his hurt, that was dropped, second to find the reason for their marriage, again dropped, third find ways to tackle Shyam on her own, now that he is getting bolder and bolder, again dropped, fourth one to find 101 ways to irritate ASR, again dropped, now we get to see entrepreneur Khushi, which is good, in the process they should also move the main story forward, if this is to create more MU by Arnav thinking that she is helping Shyam, then the CVs have totally lost it. They will not be able to get out of this mess that has been created, it will be way too complex with MU's one after the other.

I am really hoping the CVs will wake up,and bring the show back on track ASAP.
