im usually a huge fan of ur post and wait patiently to read them, really missed them this week.
but i have to politely DISAGREE/ or pose my perceptive abt khushi an arnav.
ur right abt the fact that arnav's character is always maintained. he hates her outwardly but cv's always show his caring/loving side for khushi to the audience. i blame the cv's for making him slightly brain dead. at least he didnt believe shyam statement right of the bat like last time and cut his funding. i also thought that bec he remembered the holi confession atleast his part he was very forgiving and mellowed out with khushi atleast they showed that the confession had some effect on him. he let her back into the room and went outside himself. kinda going thru a physical punishment via the prolonged sprained neck for throwing her out so cruelly outside. i was surprised that neither khushi or ever anjali (shockingly) cared abt his sprain. even when khushi has failed to recognize his pain (tea throwing, diabetes remark at the cocktail party) anjali has never failed to reach out to her chote in pain. yet this time both have ignored him and his pain. to me it was a hint at the upcoming redemption where khushi will be absent and anjali unaware of the pain that arnav is going thru. will they show khushi addressing his pain next week finally to show that after some time she will come and take his pain away by forgiving him.
for arnav care and love .. which i have no doubt about .. an never did that he loves khushi. i think people get confused to the fact that khushi 80% of the time never sees nor hear nor witnesses his concern or care. past diwali the only time she knew for sure that arnav likes her in a romantic sense. was sangeet prep to wedding day. an at night all things went to hell. this is the time where arnav was very expressive to khushi abt his feelings. which was like 3 days in the show timeline.
forgetting all the ott drama and which is not a new trait in khushi and the blatant plot holes/inconsistency. The comedy week which the cv's have done before as well to pause the drama in the show ( or accommodate leads absence). each time people have complained and the cv's come back full force. so i have no doubt the story will be back on track.
now coming to khushi... this was the first week i felt like khushi put herself above others even ahead of arnav. for this week she thought abt khushi .. what i want.. and want to do an to hell with everyone else. since the wedding the every member has taken their pound of flesh from her. and this week khushi was away for everyone talking mostly an only to herself. this again hinted to me of her looming absence for the RM in the future. she didnt even interact with payal nor discuss her business plan with anyone else. this was very odd of khushi as before she has turned to payal for support in her business adventures be it woking at AR or the sweet shop. i think she will be off on her own and make it on her own an cut off from all other but will survive. only support she did use was arnav (atleast his name) repeadly, will it be arnav who even when she thinks she is alone will serve as her guardian angel helping her indirectly. yes many find her actions selfish and uncaring. i didnt think it was that bad, yes she didnt bring him food but come on like arnav would ever accept that gesture but
an even now it is arnav again who indirectly pushed her into this. also whenever arnav is involved in her work she is successful.
last time she invaded his work place and took over the workstation adoring it with her stuff it had an effect she marked not only his space but arnav himself . later he looked at that an remembered her when she was gone.. she had made a place in his heart.
this time she has invaded his bedroom in the same way decorating it with the same gaudy stuff
so like last time i think this invasion of his space with help her connect with the place she has in his heart. as irritated he is of khushi antics its is these very antics that stir him up enough to get a reaction to khushi. arnav has a iron mask on he will not remove it unless forced, kicking an screaming. and khushi ott drama always pushes him closer to madness which makes him react with emotion not logic... thus reveling his heart
greatness is not defined just by self sacrifice. nor blind love. anjali loves shyam blindly and look at the result she is unable to see shyam for what he is. khushi love for arnav is unconditional but not blind. she is very aware when he is in the wrong but never hates him for it and forgives very easily. here is my question y cant she think abt herself and her future? to her this marriage is a temp. situation unlike her sister. she has no assurance that arnav will not kick her out on the street after 6 months. so she wants to make some money.. yes it stared out as i want to give him money back but she found a way to secure herself. and maybe she used arnav office and name. what soo bad abt that. if she was really using him she would sit at home and take his money and arnav would give it too she knows that. arnav has never asked for money back esp from her. and lets not forget arnav is totally using her for his personal endeavors ... so y call foul on khushi for using him in her business endeavors. khushi is demanding (maybe in a annoying way) her rights as his wife, rights which arnav himself has exerted in weeks previous. my real question is Y IS IT A SIN for women to put themselves their self respect and needs ahead of others. y is all the sacrifice and understanding expected only from them. im not defending her antics but defending the heart of the matter no one not even the man she love/ who loves her should push her around and force her to do things against her will. and this marriage was against her will. yes wanted to marry arnav but not they way it happened. the only thing i give the cv's credit for is the gender equality between arnav and khushi. if arnav can look out for number one so can khushi and it isnt tit for tat. she has every right to go as she pleases just like arnav. she should not back down bec she is they loving caring women. love should not take away ur autonomy as a human being. i agree with u abt the cv's methods and plot holes of showing this but im kinda with them on message.
this might be me looking thru rosy colored glasses abt their future or chugging the koolaid. but just by going on the shows history. khushi ott antics have always brought them closer. the first office drama showed him she is tough cookie, tea throwing showed him she isnt malicious as a person, the cocktail party showed how much she loves her sister which he then used later for his benefit. i think this endeavor of khushi will in long term prove that she is not staying with arnav nor interested in his money or his status.
