😳Hiya there😃
Just watched the episode and am not sure how to classify it...funny, disjointed or irreverant to logic ...so let me go with the word interesting. 😊
Hiya JWMRK😃 Its been awhile, and i think the word interesting is the only word left for this show, i'm barely hanging on...with a very thin thread, sometimes i come close to pitting myself that i'm still watching...but i the larger arc of this story line is keeping me hanging around...and sometimes it reminds me that no matter how dark our moments there is always that proverbial tunnel at the end...😳 its great to see you still writing...👏
Labour and its respectability
I have always felt that not just Khushi, but Payal too needs to do something with their time and life...Its disheartening to see people who are clearly are in a crisis in their lives...not wanting to do anything about it...So I have always wanted Khushi to study😊...be independant ...be responsible and take charge of her own life😳...And therefore I never was in favor of her forced marriage...dont really see the logic there
I agree no one should ever be stagnant, the human mind is a miracle the human soul is in constant synergy so why would anyone not want to keep feeding their minds and their souls...😃 of course i default to your writing the paragraph above well said...JW⭐️
So yes its great to see Khushi do something meaningful...rather than decorate her room or sneeze at ASR's face or stop the water supply when he showers.😃👏👏
I feel there is dignity in labor...of any kind😃.
Can i second this please👍🏼 so totally totally agree, its so unfortunate that in society people put a price tag to labor, the value of a person is sometimes a direct correlation to what they are a doctor, a lawyer, so on... I wish the east Indian/pakistani culture would start to change, i look at auntie's trying to get their daughters married, first thing they ask is larka kya karta hai...really, how about larka kai adaatai kaasa hain...
..I work at a senior management level as specialist...but at my office the guy who gets me my mails every day, my secretary, the woman who cleans by rubbish bin at my office...are also equally precious and are doing something with dignity to earn a living👏👏👏...and I respect that😃😳
Hats off to your thinking i wish there were more people like you in upper management, for usually middle management always wants to manage upwards, not really caring about the people they've risen above...society needs every type of work force, thats one thing i really appriciate about western society, they value human labour, even a lady that cleans a house, is paid fair value, garbage collectors, are paid enough to live with dignity...not saying thats always the case but its fair to generalize...i think...😃
Labored execution of scenes
Having said that, I feel the catering business scenes could have been better scripted😳...and I am not even going to logical or a realistic angle here...because logic and sense has long left this serial😆
I feel the writers and directors must know when to use a comic touch and when to be serious😳...Last week was a great week because they effectively used the comic touch only for some part of the bhaang scenes...but kept the other scenes on an emotional tangent.👏👏
This whole sequence of Khushi wanting to start her business and achieving independence...would have seemed much more relatable had they shot it using a more emotional angle or a realistic angle if you like...rather than an OTT comic angle..
i didn't mind the comic part of it, because well its khushi, and I'm now use to her OTT dramatics, infact if she were to ever get serious i'd start to wonder am i watching the same show😉 i think you know what i mean here...😃
Whichever way you swing...you cannot deny the scenes were wayyy over the top😆...I mean which employees are so desperate to grab food and eat or which person goes to an office and sells food by tempting people to eat. with a comic touch😆😆...
this had me going i mean its been a while since i've been in the work force but i don't quite remember it ever being so melodramatic...not even worth my time...🤢
Would I go sell food in my spouses office ...maybe...However would I sell it as in such a gung ho manner smacking my lips, displaying food in front of everyones face and eating it...and all this while disregarding my own spouse's sensitivities...perhaps no😳...
totally agree, as a married person, in a normal relationship, its been years since i even visited my husband's workplace,(only do i see the office folks during xmas parties) but again this is a drama so just going to let this flow on by..😕 told you hanging on barely with a thin thread...😆
Dignity of labor
But while Khushi's actions seem over the top...ASR was not all cultured either😳😳...I can understand the makers want to project him as arrogant and strict...But no CEO I know goes about ordering staff to eat or not to eat😆😆😆
I'm surprise a ceo like this even exists, he needs to take some serious leadership courses😆 otherwise he's going to have a very high turnover ratio🤣
More importantly its equally uncouth to ask people "who the hell are you"...the scenes again were in a bad light😳
totally agree, who swears now a days in the work force???? in leadership positions...even more unheard of...😕
Totally agree that khushi has taken a step in the right direction but again there for some reason the cv's have put some road blocks that tarnish the overall outcome...for both khushi and arnav, because you have to remember the journey is always more important then the out come...take care jW...
all the best with this show...

Cheers and a great weekend
