Tanthya,
First of all, I know you were not very happy with the episode yesterday, but still you took the time, to read and comment on my post, thank you so much!! I missed the napkins though.😉
As you said, today was progress from the last two episodes, still slow but progress. The very first thought that passed my mind after I saw the episode was "Relationships are mending". Today, many different facets of relationships were shown, Arnav-Khushi, Aakash -Khushi, Shyam-Anjali or Payal-Mami. Each was either mending, progressing , blooming, deepening or changing . Each was moving forward in a good or a bad way, each were changing into different outlooks which was very beautifully conveyed by you.👏 Now each of these have to endure the storm that is brewing around them, whether they will survive the test of peril or collapse under its weight, is a question that today has no answer
Agree with u on the brown, Pam 😊
I agree with you that, if Khushi would have asked Arnav to eat, he would have refused, "The lack of attention" theory worked. I loved what they showed but what I would have also liked to see was that, at least once, the thought passes her mind that he has not eaten since morning or must be hungry. The thought could have changed to steely determination in the very next moment, that she is not going to ask or care, but at least, for a mini-micro moment, I would have also liked to see that small snippet of care from her side.
This was exactly what I had meant in Y'days post, Pam ..
I hope the CV's take note of your sentence "maintain the business tycoon's dignity". It is high time they showed us that she understands, that she has to maintain her husband's dignity in front of the outside world also, it is her character trait. What weird's me out is, she so beautifully maintains it at her house, in front of the family members but completely forgets about it or ignores it when she comes to the office, the outside world.
And now, let me say my daily mantra, "Fantastic Post, Tanthya!!!" Just loved your Dil-Dimaag theory...
Thank You, Pam..At the rate we are going, we will become the greatest theoreticians of IP ! 😆😆
Below is my analysis:
Today, I had a tough time peeling the layers of this "filler" episode of the "filler" week and finally one thing struck me. So here we go:
Khushi's whole thought process of paying back Arnav his money, the sum amount of "Rs 300" (actually it almost one lakh but CVs have forgotten about it, so shall we) started with Arnav's one sentence "Unnhe kya lagta hain ki woh merese cheat kar sakte hain..they are behaving like thieves". From that moment, her world has shaken and she has become restless because she cannot even the bear the thought of him thinking of her as a "cheater". This has scared her. Thus, her mission has started to ensure that he does not get a chance to think about her in such lowly terms as sometimes respect of the person you love matters more than the love itself. Of course, she has consciously not yet realized that she is in love but somewhere subconsciously his opinion does matter to her, it always has.
I really likes the ways CVs have taken this small incident, of her borrowing money from Arnav, to show us how much Arnav's opinion matter to her, and how much his lowly opinion of her, can affect her. I do not know how they will play this, but it can go either of the two ways:
First, it might just be a way for us to understand her extreme reaction when she realizes that Arnav in reality does think of her as a cheater, as a thief who stole her sister's husband. If a thought can make her restless and uneasy, reality might just break her, its definitely going to hurt her. But she is not one of those people who take things lying down. She is, as we saw today, a feisty girl who is not scared of her circumstances, who is definitely capable of finding solution and fighting back using either fair means or foul. Thus, once the shock is over, we will see her start the process of unraveling the truth, using all sorts of tricks and manipulations, to expose Shyam and prove her innocence.
I was banking on u or Binny coming up with this aspect ...It struck me y'day but I was too tired and hoped that one of u will highlight this very important fact !!...👏👏
Or else.
We might see Arnav asking her about the deal she was cracking today which would make him aware of her desire to return his borrowed money, as she does not want him to think of her as a cheater or a thief who has stolen his money. Arnav (if his brain is back from vacation) hopefully would start wondering that why would someone, who is a dishonest person, who is already deceiving him and his sister, who is already blackened her character for the rest of her life, would go to such lengths to return a small amount of money, just because she is scared to be thought of as a "cheater". This would thus make him dig deeper and unveil the facts from the well of half truths that were conveyed to him by Shyam.
I do not know which route CV's will take but I just hope that whichever route the CV's take (there might be a third one), they do full justification to the track that we all have been eagerly waiting for from the past few months.
