Day 7 of last 10 days of 6 month period'..
DAMN he is hot!! How can someone possibly move away from such perfection? His eyes, those lips, tip of the nose, chiseled chest and six pack abs. Can a man be any more perfect? It's not legal for someone to look so damn sexy!! Last night when he looked at me with those drowsy eyes I felt like dying and was gone to heaven. There is still something about him that draws me. Uff I need to go and get some air, staying alone with him will make my head spin again'smiles Lavanya.
She slowly picks herself up and stands up beside Arnav. She leans close to his chest and puts a hand on his face. After a while, she ties the knot of her robe at waist and tippy toes away from Arnav.
Arnav turns around and opens his eyes. His head is throbbing of headache. He realizes that he is not in his hotel room. This is a new place. "Where am I ?". He turns to the opposite side and sees a pink t shirt on the floor. Next to it, is a purse and a lipstick lying on the ground. Arnav seats up on the bed and looks at himself. His shirt is lying on the couch and his shoes are missing. "WHAT THE !!!" " hello ! is anyone here ?" Lavanya comes in the room in the next minute. She is in a white robe and she is barefooted. OH Shit !
"Lavanya, Hi ! Umm'.where am I? I don't remember much of last night . Did I pass out? Is this your room and how did I get here?" Arnav looks puzzled and tensed, but mostly he feels a range of guilt and anger creeping up. "And Did we?..." Lavanya comes and seats on the bed by his side. Her hand rests on his thigh. She leans in and gives him a kiss on his cheeks and a naughty smile spreads on her face. "ASR baby, you do not remember anything that happened between us last night? It was magical."
Khushi is waking near the poolside. She stops and looks at the plants. She sighs. Laxmi is by her side. Her dupatta gets stuck. She jumps and straightens up. The minutes pass by and she keeps on standing at the same place holding the rest of it in hand. She closes her eyes and a soft smile lights up her face. "AAp? When did you come back?" She restlessly waits to hear the deep voice or a simple " WHAT THE .." Her heart beat slows down as time pass by. "NO". Its not him. She looks behind in an instant and sighs. It's the stupid table corner.
"I will tell Arnav ji to change the table or at least mend it. "Khushi daydreams of her and Arnav conversing as regular couples. All the memories come pouring in: the night during Diwali, red saree, the tea episode, Arnav getting burnt and lastly His Kiss on the cheek. Shiver runs through her spine thinking of Arnav touching her. The Idiot guy will never know what he does to me, what a single stroke from his fingers keeps me on my toes for the whole day, how much I crave him. When he comes close, I can almost feel his pulses running in me. The innocence in his smile, the sweet smile at corner of his face, twinkle of the eye, and mostly those hands, yes those hands : on me. Goosebumps!!
Khushi lies on Arnav's bed and holds his pillow in her arms. She sips on hot tea and gets lost in deep thought: How could I fall in love with this man? Most times I think he has same feelings as I do. But there is also a lot of pain in his eyes. What happened that night during the wedding of Jiji? What suddenly changed him so much? Why does he try to protect Anjali ji and why did he give me a timeline of 6 months? Anjali Ji is due in a month or so. Does my marriage ending in this time have any relation to Anjali ji's baby or pregnancy? How did I hurt him so much?
Arnav Ji let Payal and Akash ji go to honey moon. He has always stood behind Akash ji and Jiji, when mami ji tried to tear them apart. Arnav ji talks to Payal nicely and I have over heard Arnav ji asking Akash to buy a gift for Jiji for a surprise. If he did not want them to be happily married, he will not be so nice. I really do not think Arnav ji will make their marriage break just because of me. This doesn't add up. There must be a relation to all these. Why haven't I ever thought of these before in a calm mind? Oh God !! Why am I so stupid? And how did he get so hurt by me that he took up such a big step of marrying me and bringing me home? There must be a solid reason behind this.
Anjali: "After last nights' Tv news and the gossip on all channels I think we need to seat down with Khushi ji and talk to her openly. She is trying to avoid us from last night. Naniji, what do you think? What Arnav did with Lavanya ji and other girls is just unacceptable. I do not understand him. He never was so reckless and disrespectful. Do you think they had a fight and he is doing all these to make Khushi ji upset?" Anjali looks at naniji for an answer. Naniji looks tensed. She tells Anjali to wait and talk to Chote first, before approaching Khushi with this matter.
Mark opens the door and comes inside. He smiles at Lavanya and Arnav. "So you are awake at last Arnav? Lavanya was very tensed. She made me take your shirt and shoes off and put you in my bed. WE slept in the other room. She really cares about you, you know? But it's your loss that she is mine now."'..Mark smiles and cuddles Lavanya. Lavanya melts on Mark's arms and beams at the rock on her ring finger. " Oh ASR, why are you still making a face like that? It doesn't suit you baby ! You were almost passed out , so I brought you home. This much I can do for you and Khushi right? This is Mark's place. Just imagine ! if I left you there , definitely one of the girls would have taken you home..ha ha ha. Or they would have taken your Maserati'lol." Arnav smirks. "You should have seen the look on your face as you woke up and saw me beside you'.did you think I was with you last night? OH ..lol'." Lavanya says.
Shyam: " Rani Saheba! I think you are trying to put cover on the matter. Arnav is just showing his true feelings this time. I wanted to tell you something very important long time back. But as you were feeling tensed with the baby, I have kept it to myself. But I think it's appropriate time to let you know. And as a Jijaji I also have responsibility towards Chote's well being, right? I mean Chote is like a brother to me." Shyam smiles and looks to see Anjali's reaction. Anjali says: "Please tell me what you have been keeping away from me. Do you know anything about Chote that I am not aware of ?"
Shyam goes on: "Chote has never been happy with Khushi Ji, Do you know they fight each night and Khushi Ji makes him sleep on the recliner by the pool side? She seems to be very innocent and nice, but she is very clever. I think, when Payal and Akash were getting married Khushiji told Arnav that she will not let the marriage take place, unless Arnav agrees to marry her. I have noticed these and have also heard from some people at Chote's office. Khushi also tried to persuade you to make her work here and train Lavanya ji, right? She always had a thing for Chote and I believe she voluntarily made things worse between Lavanya ji and Chote. Arnav has even instructed the security not to let Khushi ji get into the office. I think she goes there and demands money from Chote for her parents."
Anjali looks blank. She is speechless at this accusation. "What are you saying? How long have you known this for and why have you not told me any of this? AS far as I know Khushi ji, she is not like that. She cares for Chotey and she seems very innocent. Are you sure people are just not making things up out of jealousy to Arnav? You felt so strongly against Khushi Ji and you kept it a secret. Why? "
Anjali seems very worried.
Lavanya: "Arnav darling, drive carefully ok? You are too stubborn. I can easily call a cab for you now and drop your car later to your resort. Oh! You will never change." Lavanya bids Arnav good bye and gives him a light hug. "Thanks Lavanya for bringing me home last night, well anyways, you take care " Arnav says. Revving up his engine, he shouts out "I will make sure you become a wife this time, you don't worry."? He smiles and drives away. "What a show off !" Lavanya giggles and gets back to Mark.
A few men are sneaking behind the bushes and near the entrance gate with voice recorders and cameras. A news chopper is flying on top of Lavanys and Mark's house .
DAY 6 COMING UP'..
My story comprises of THE LAST 10 DAYS of the 6 month wedding period that ARNAV fixed for KHUSHI.
