So happy to have found your Index,

Can't afford to miss any single of your Works,

they are downright amazing,

and always leave deep searing feelings,

after reading them!!!
It does not matter whether its a Happy or a Sad feeling,

but it is enough to shake me up!!!

You are just amazing!!!

Sorry was not able to write for each of the OS,

and took the shortcut to write her in your Index,

but believe each of them are just too good!!!

NOTE:

For the longest time now, I have considered the fact that people want to read my work, a blessing. After all how many amateurs would have the benefit of such a loving audience as you? For every bit of love you have showered upon my writing, I will always be grateful.

Unfortunately, I was recently made aware of just how vulnerable my writing is in the virtual world. To be fair, the person who was "inspired" by my writing was very kind to have me read her writing once to ensure that I did not feel threatened. But the similarity of her work to one of my pieces was enough to make me uncomfortable. To this person, I am eternally grateful for I believe that intentions mean more than action and her intention was as honest as it could be.

As a result, I have taken the difficult decision to remove all of my more serious, completed works (Careless Whispers, A Word's Worth and The Emerald Isle Tales) from unrestricted access. To all those who were in the process of reading - I sincerely apologize. I wish I didn't have to make this decision but to know that something I put my heart and soul into is at risk, is a fear I never knew could be this strong. I hope you understand.

I will be unable to provide access to these completed works to those who are new to these stories and for that I am extremely sorry. I hope you will be happy to read all the stories mentioned in this index and available on IF, for they will remain here forever.

Thank you all for being so kind and thank you for understanding.

PS: I don't want to edit this note. Because at the time I was hurt and scared. However, I have opened my blogs again. - They have been open for a while now. Just didn't update here because no one asked :) If you wish to read any of my stories and don't have the blog address, please let me know and i will send it across

I understand ur decision... but its sad that ppl do these thing to wonderful writers like u and it also affects the loyal readers like us 💔 😭...

If n when u make EIT available pls pls pls let me know... its one of my fav stories

Hey Meera.. Ur stories were always amazing n u as a writer u are fantabulous..

Sad that u have to take this step.. Although I respect ur decision

.. Have been lucky that I was a part of ur stories.. N will always wait for u too start a new one..

After u finished Emerald have always been looking out for ur stories.. In fact I have even started the careless whisper again on ur blog..

All in all jus wanna say u been a wonderful writer.. N u have entertained us with ur story..

hey meera, it is very disappointing to know that you are closing the blogs for your stories... you are my favorite writer on this site... and probably one of the best on this forum... i have read careless whispers(by far my favorite story) and words worth but never got a chance to read emerald isle tales(heard a lot about but unfortunately never got time)... and by the looks of it not going to get a chance in future either... but kudos to that "inspired writer" who took the effort to let you know about his/her story...

i want to wish you luck for future and also want you to write another fabulous arshi story... till then waiting...

P.S. : if you ever change your mind and decide to open your blogs again please do let me know... i would love to read emerald isle tales...

And I had kept EIT aside, thinking that I would leisurely read it after exams. So is it that I'll never get to read it ever? 😭 😭

Well, anyway, I respect your decision. Writing for any author isn't just the hours of effort but a piece of one's heart and when that's threatened, I can understand it's awful.

But then it's really sad that readers who had no intention of plagiarizing or even getting "inspired" too will suffer this loss.

Here's hoping that you might consider to open it sometime, maybe just for a week. Maybe?
