Awesome posts guys!
After a week's worth of incredibly episodes I can't say that I was so much let down by Friday's content, as I was disheartened by the "cliffhanger". I would have hoped for more clarification as to whether or not Khushi or Arnav remember what they did.
If Khushi winds up remembering her conversation with Shyam, then it only stands to reason that she must also remember her words to Arnav. I personally don't feel as though the CV's will have them "remember" their words. They aren't going to go down the road to confession just yet.
I just have a few thoughts on Friday's episode because as Doodleberry mentioned, it was a bit of a mixed bag in terms of content. I absolutely loved it when Arnav didn't want to let Khushi go. I agree with Doodleberry, in that he wanted to keep her there for HIMSELF. I really saw the wounded child in him - one who is afraid of losing yet another loved one. He wanted her in front of him at all times. It makes your heart hurt when you see someone so scared to love because of this enormous fear of loss.
Similarly, I loved the smile on Khushi's face when Arnav pulled her back down. Just like Arnav - she is afraid to love because she is afraid of rejection. One of the biggest fears of any adopted child is not being wanted. Not being good enough, and for that reason I feel that Khushi compensates by going above and beyond to make sure the lives of her family are without worry. I felt that smile reflected her acceptance that FINALLY there was someone who wanted her to stick around. Someone who wouldn't let her go. It was the sweetest thing.
I re-watched a bit of Thursday's episode and it just goes to show how scared Khushi is of Arnav rejecting her again. When Arnav was wiping away the dirt, and she had a flashback of the last time she did that - she recoiled in fear. Fear that the moment wouldn't last. Fear that she shouldn't let her heart accept the need for his touch because of the pain he always causes her afterwards with his rejection. She did the same thing when she was about to get up. They shared a special moment and she wanted to run away in fear. Fear of the moment not lasting. I loved how the writers have managed to keep certain aspects of the characters in tact while under the influence of bhang. Because as was mentioned before, it is when you are intoxicated that your subconscious thoughts become your conscious thoughts.
Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the differences again depicted between Shyam and Arnav. Whereas Khushi recoils from Shyam's touch, she finds solace and comfort in Arnav's. She welcomes his touch. She needs it to feel safe. I felt her rambling when talking to Shyam was truly reflective of the state of emotions she feels right now. She loves Arnav but is confused as to why he is treating her this way. It is similar to when he propositioned her for marriage. Even then she said, "humne to socha tha..." that he was going to tell her that he cared about her. To me, her tears exhibited the torrent of emotions churning within her. She cried because she just doesn't understand why Arnav married her in such a way and has been treating her thus, when all she wants to do is love him.
Obviously Shyam is going to use this new nugget of information to his advantage, but who knows who he is going to target first. I think it all depends on whether or not Arnav and Khushi remember their actions. I don't believe they will, because if Khushi did then she would have no other choice but to tell Arnav that she told Shyam the conditions of their marriage. All in all, it was a bit of a see-saw type of episode. There were highs, and then there were confusing lows. I just hope that one day Khushi and Arnav remember (at least bits) of their confession, if not for the sweetness of the scenes.
Anyways, great analysis guys. Doodleberry, I will miss your daily analysis next week! Looking forward to the weekly one!

Hi Tanths, Doods,
My day is never complete until I've read you two and finally made sense of each episode.
There was some distress on the forum yesterday that Khushi's character was compromised when she blurted out the truth to Shyam but as you explained it Sathya, she is completely in character! She is known spilling the beans.
And as Doods explained, now the truth is known to Shyam, he will act on it and the story wil move forward!
thanks again 🤗
luv luv you two!!!!❤️

Tanthya/Doods,

Fantastic Post as usual!!! You are right, Shyam is the dark force and his character traits: selective hearing, selective seeing, his gloating will be his downfall. Doods, your character analysis of Shyam was superb. I loved Mama - Mamiji scenes, I wish we have more of them. Payal and Mami was another good touch, things are changing there. So let me say again, Fantastic post by both of you.

You know, the confession scene, from the time , it was shown in the promo, I was joking about it, saying that it was a "Viewers special confession", something that they were doing only for the viewers, but Doods, your post of the other day, the 5% message in every episode, plus something that princesssunnara and Tanthya wrote in their post, made me think. I have been pondering over it for days thinking was this confession only for the viewers or did it have an ulterior move, why was it shown now, I mean why will CVs invest in it, it has to have a subtle message. So I decided to analyze it, I might go totally tangent but then you girls can get me back.

So let me start with that day when this journey of Arnav and Khushi really started.

That day, in a place which was as broken and destroyed as Arnav, ASR held a girl in his arms who had managed to make a crack in his shield. That was the first day that he felt guilty, he felt bad for putting a girl's life in danger. That was the first time in years he had felt an emotion for someone other than his Di and it totally disturbed him. That was the first crack on ASR's armor. After that, there were many cracks in his armor and Arnav started healing but the shield was not totally broken, he had not healed completely. Thus it was very easy for him to resurrect it, when he thought that the person who was making him believe is actually someone totally opposite.

ASR has no repercussions, for him the most important person is his sister, and his most important goal is to protect her. In the process he does not care who gets hurt, who gets trampled, even if that person was someone that Arnav was half in love with..Yes, Arnav was hurt, Arnav was in pain, we saw glimpses of that, but how can you break someone who is already broken. Previously, with his parents he dealt with his pain with becoming ASR, this time he did the same.

And then there was this day when he was holding the same girl in his arms, a girl who had just asked him questions, questions that staggered him, question that stunned him, questions that gave him hope, questions which were so forceful that they completely crumbled ASR, questions that brought tears to his eyes not only because he got a confirmation that his feelings were returned but because it also resurrected Arnav, made him whole. Thus like the phoenix who rises again from the ashes, Arnav rose, a person who could feel again, who was again so full of emotions that he was as magnificent, as exquisite, as beautiful as the gazebo that he was standing in.

Thus saying that, now when Shyam starts his games, lets him know that Khushi has told him the truth, it will not be ASR he will facing, it will be Arnav. It will be Arnav who will feel betrayed and hurt and it will Arnav who will fight back. This Arnav will be even more dangerous, even more vindictive than ASR. Why? Because previously though, he was shocked, he was hurt by Khushi's betrayal, his sense of right and wrong, could not allow him to blame Khushi. They were not committed to each other, so he had no right on her and this was the only reason he could not ever divulge the reason for his "Dukh" to her. Whatever her did to her was only for his sister. This time its different, this time though subconsciously they are committed to each other and he is going to lash out and how he is going lash out.

"What is love if it does not pass the test of pain and separation"

When the confrontation happens (I knows doods you said it will happen in parallel, and I so want that terrace scene revisited, exactly like it happened before) the whole Arnav will break down again, not because he was betrayed like with his parents but because he himself betrayed, betrayed the love, the trust, the relationship that he has subconsciously started. This confession made them committed to each other, which they were not previously, and thus the repentance will have more depth, more intensity as it will be lover you will be doing it, not the brother. Then, as doods said, we will have the journey from the terrace to the middle of the road to the temple and this time Khushi will be the one who will get him back.

Today we saw she wanted to leave twice but Arnav stopped her. Similarly that time she will want to leave. but Arnav will not let her go. Hopefully, we will see him running behind her, high on their love like the bhaang in his own ASR style but when Anjali calls or when Anjali realizes the truth i.e the "Khatta Limbu.". Khushi will decide to leave. Initially again, Arnav will not let her go but he will agree for his sister. We have seen in past, many times Arnav has returned her duppatta, he knows its her dignity, her modesty and so he will let her go for her duppatta, for her dignity, her modesty, her values. She will ask him to move on, to go forward but his answer will always be "I am waiting", waiting for her dhadkan as well as for her duppatta.

Thus as predicted by everyone, as Anjali has been a witness to their antics in holi, she will be the witness to their love and pain. She might support her husband initially but she will have to give her "Agnipariksha" not for her husband but for her brother. She will be the one who will guide Khushi to her Arnavji, and in the process she will be the one who will walk away from her husband towards the person who has always been with her, in good and bad.

Its so amazing right, how the CVs show us the trailer before giving us the full picture. Will they follow this route is another discussion completely.

Sathya, wonderful analysis!!!

Loved your analogy with the deck of cards & an episode which was only good for me for the first 5 minutes was made more enjoyable by your analysis!!!

Doods, what can I say your analysis brought tears to my eyes because it was so beautiful!! I loved how you explained moments of genuine love between them it was purely DOODASTIC!!!

I was very fearful of the upcoming track as an armed snake is a dangerous snake but after reading both your analysis I am filled much more with positive vibes & that we are finally on the road to the truth and hopefully ArHi standing together in acknowledged love, can't wait!!!

Nooo a whole week without your DOODASTIC analysis is going to be a very long week, have a fab time whatever your doing & come back soon!!!

Thanths.. Doods brilliant analysis as always...🤗

I thoroughly enjoyed the episode not even Shyam's trivial victory could ruin it for me.. truly he is his own worst enemy.. his overconfidence and belief of always being a step ahead of others tends to make his plans backfire on him.. and this routine will continue his actions will only force ArHi closer together..

I loved the beginning of the episode.. especially when Arnav pulled Khushi back up with a shake of his head portraying that no there is no need for her to rely on anyone else... he is there for her.. her pillar of strength that will always stand strong and remain by her side in the tough times.. and she smiled acknowledging his support and laid her head on his shoulder placing her faith in him..

I adored how she found solace simply by grasping Arnav's hand after she realized she had stated things that were better left unsaid and in front of the worst individual.. and ASR's need to wait seem to be foreshadowing towards the future once the truth is revealed he will strive to win her back but he will not force.. If I can state what you said in your earlier posts if you love someone let them go if your love is pure they will return to you.. yet his support will always remain..

My personal favorite sequence was when they were watching the holi video and Arnav turned to face K when Anjali questioned as to their whereabouts.. he did not seem confused to me I wonder if they remember.!!
