I once saw this very beautiful dialogue on Faith in Mathew Perry's Studio 60:

The mother has cancer and is a devout christian. The daughter asks her aren't you mad at god for giving you this suffering when you are such a believer in god.

The Mother replies, I never questioned him when he gave me so many good times, I am not going to question him now.

That dialogue has stayed with me more than a year after I have seen it.

Personally I always figured, If God gave you problems, he also gave you solutions, the strength, the people to help you find that solution.

This was another beautiful way of describing faith for me. I hope they use some of this someday in the show for Arnav...Maybe after Shyam's truth is out and Anjali is praying and he asks her this and she tells him this, dunno.
