OS: VIBGYOR
The colors of the rainbow drenched him in the vividness, in their vivacious nature. Everywhere he looked around all he could see were colors being sprayed here and there, destroying his own vision, which was fighting through the urge to decipher one known color to him, for everywhere he saw colors were mixed, nothing in its original form.
Far ahead of him from where he stood at an advantage position keeping an upper hand, and eye on his family, he saw her lively form, skipping about here and there, bathing everybody in her colors of life. She was full of life, he thought, it were those colors that brought out the best in her, and even through all the darkness in her life that he had caused, she would always manage to let rays of color trickle in, lighting up her entire soul. Why couldn't he be like her, enjoying every moment of life, bringing smiles on people's face, he wondered to himself, and as quick as the question had come to his mind, it had seek its answer even quicker, because he was not her. She was different, because colors for him that existed were only black, and for her, the definition of colors was something beyond human comprehension. For her colors were her world, these colors livened her spirit, made her live life which had always been horrid, live the innocence in her, re live that child in her, that he could never live through. She knew how to live life, which he didn't, because he did not believe in colors, he did not believe in playing with them, in being with them.
He touched his cheek, on which she had smeared red color only moments ago, on the insistence of his family. He couldn't understand what was going through him that moment, but he felt himself shiver, he felt a tingling sensation in him that only her touch on his body could cause. It was like getting something that use to be his back, getting someone who was his back with full authority. It generated a sparkling sensation within him, lighting up his entire features, as he let her touch do wonders to him. In only a matter of seconds, just matter of seconds for him were enough to know that he had never been wrong about her innocent character. She was pure of any evil, pure of any feelings of hatred and vengeance, she was just a soul who he had hurt, and that was about all he knew now.
She ran here and there, enjoying every moment that she was spending being happy, but their was a slight feeling of loneliness that lived inside her, that loneliness which he caused, for as much as she would deny she missed his black. His black, was just not black to her, but a reason for her to live with colors, to live with phenomenons of life which he couldn't live in, and through her she wanted him to see all of it, experience all of it, for she was the medium and he was the source to her happiness. Her eyes drifted away in search of his upright, muscular form, which she believed would be here, camouflaged in the flying colors around them making it difficult for them to see through it all, it was like a faade, a mist that had grown between them in the form of these enthralling colors which stopped them from looking into each other eyes and getting lost into it. Finally after having roamed her eyes tirelessly around the entire surface area of the garden, she found him leaning against a pillar, aside from all the fun, looking over all of them, and smiling at their happiness.
That smile on his face, and she felt like she was the happiest person on earth. It was rare of him to smile, or cause smiles on peoples face, but he was smiling, just like she liked him too, because it brought out the best of his handsome features to exposure, the best of his pure soul out. She knew somewhere in her heart she still trusted him, all the words full of hatred, that he had said to her, were merrily words, and nothing that was coming straight from his heart. It was like a layering of plaster of Paris that he had covered his heart with, so that she could not get through it, and look into its miseries. He kept himself hidden from the world, kept his feelings, his desires hidden from everybody, but she, she could see through him. See what nobody could, that dread in his eyes, fear of losing his loved ones, protecting the people he loved from harms way. She didn't know what had caused him to be like that, why did he change himself, expose and then drape himself into darkness, those were reasons unknown, but for the time being she was happy, because he was smiling over everything, and for the first time in days she felt a part of her back to loving him again, for he was the same person she loved, the same person, that was dearer to her then her most treasured processions.
He thought of the time, earlier in the morning when she had been blabbering to herself about the colors she had chosen for her respective family members, and how in the most quirky manner she had blurted out that for him she hadn't had to give a second thought, for black was the perfect color for him. BLACK, he thought, BLACK. It was all so symbolic, he was the black in her life, maybe the black in everybody's life, but black was the color of the armed forces, black was the color of the protecting body, and he was exactly that, keeping a look over them all, so that no evil would ever come to them, because only black could counter black. No other color, could resist the influence of black, because black is the part of every color. He was part of everyone, part of her white light, part of Di's indigo, Nani's violet, Mami's orange and Aakash's blue. They all had some black in them, and that was him. When they all came together they formed him black, because when all these secondary colors combined, they would form a band of black, which would absorb them all in its darkness shielding them from all the evils of this world.

P.S: So how was it guys? Not too bad I guess, just felt like jotting down something, on this Holi special week, so came up with it.
