I can never forget the day I started watching. We had just subscribed to Star plus that day. It was the diwali almost kiss episode!!!

My husband and my eyes popped out when we saw that scene! We could not believe that we were watching this in a serial on an indian television channel. But I liked their chemistry a lot.I continued watching the episodes but could not understand what was going on... why was ASR behaving with Khushi like this.. what had happened between them... what was their story.

Then one day the scene where Khushi is getting enagaged to Shyam and they show a very emotional and restless ASR having flashbacks of his encounters with Khushi... seeing those flashbacks really triggered my curiosity and made me go back and watch all the episodes from June 6th.

I watched 5 months of episodes in 2 weeks and fell in love with the serial. It was so different from anything I had seen before. The creativity really blew my mind away. It changed my perception of Indian television. Hats off to the team for such a well made serial. I was amazed at how they created absolutely breathtaking romantic moments without an ounce of vulgarity. Some of the emotional scenes like ASR saying sorry to Khushi for the first time, and the hospital hug scene really moved me. I must say those are my favorite scenes even though I am a sucker for romantic and sensual scenes like the diwali fairy lights scene and the almost kiss scene.

The show really captivated me and I have been following it avidly since then.

I started watching IPKKND from first episode and never missed even a single episode.
I was impressed with Barun as Shravan and I like his acting skills. I saw IPKKND promo with BS in new avatar. It created curiosity and the show managed to keep its interest still intact.
The team has done really a good job in keeping me glued to it. I don't stick to a show beyond 100 or 150 episode becacuse thats the maximim epiosode where crux of story gets over and the shows just drag with usual telly formulas.
Arnav and Khushi character has come out very well.

Initially I was excited about the show as I am from Lucknow and you know how it is ...you have that certain link with your city and all that...So I watched a few episodes in the beginning...All those scenes about marriage break up and halwai kind of put me off. Lucknow is quite a classy city and I wanted to see some of that. Maybe I couldn't identify with that. And as you said I started skipping the other characters' scenes to get to theirs (arhi)...Then I stopped..

Then My MIL visited us and she is a soap freak. She'll watch anything n everything...She'll keep flipping channels..And she asked me whether I watched this serial or not. It was in September...The party scene (Anjali's anniversary) and Lavanya drunk at the party...That was when I got hooked..My mother gave me an update on the show..Once my in-laws left I got on to the laptop and saw the entire epis from the beginning to date. I kept on raving about it to my younger sister.. Ultimately she got hooked on to it by the Nainital episode and my elder sister, who is a divorcee and doesn't believe in all this, got interested by the Diwali kiss. Now I'm just waiting for my eldest sis from Houston to visit and I bet she'll get hooked too.
Definitely the characters and the storyline have evolved...And their looks too...They've worked hard on it...Barun and Sanaya are good actors but the credit goes to the director who has extracted such stupendous performances from them, giving them scenes to showcase their talents...

when i saw the first promo i liked the lead pairs but then when i read the title iss pyaar ko kya naam doon...it sounds like u know they both will love each other but will never marry each other like all ekta serials...then one day when i was flipping the channel i saw the scene where arnav is with anjali in the temple i guess...and she hugs him...i just saw that scene and i thought mayb anjali is his wife but he loves khushi and hence the title ...it put me off and i changed the channel...but then one day again i was flipping the channel i saw the funny scene where khushi taking the dabba gets trapped in the decky...and i think it ended...then i got curious to know as to wht happens...i then came to IF to read written update of the nanital trip...i had still not started seeing the whole 20 min episode...then i saw the hospital scene where she hugs...and then i went to read the main story of show and saw that anjali is his sister...and then i saw the diwali promo...i think the diwali promo the way he puts the payal i really loved that chemistry but whn i saw the actual episode i was like wow what a romance...
i think after the diwali episode i really got hooked to this serial...
.and now my full family also has got hooked to see the serial...they also dont like to miss it...

I curse AND bless the day I started watching IPKKND:) It made my days beautiful, it ruined my days with obsession! I usually do not watch Hindi serials. The last serial i watched was Kasamh Se for about 40 episodes. Instead I am a major major fan of Korean serials - which have pretty awesome production values, acting and love-hate-jealousy kind of romantic stories. And they are over in 16 episodes. No lamba dragging, no TRP chasing random twists in tales.

Sooo, getting to the point, I just finished a super Korean serial and was feeling rather empty and dissing why we dont make serials this way. So logged into IF to check what are the latest serials out of curiosity. Saw that they improved the IF with some serial rankings across channels. Saw IPKKND being #1. Read the synopsis. Saw "love-hate" phrase in the synopsis. Alarm bells went off in my head. went to youtube and saw Episode 1. And, I confess, fireworks, heart palpitations, hyper ventilation, seizures all were experienced in a span of 50 seconds during the scene ASR ripping KKG's blouse dori made of pearls. And I had fallen, hook, line and sinker for the show since that moment. And I watched 200 episodes in 3 days without sleeping for two nights. And I am not making this up. I lived and breathed and did everything IPKKND in those 3 days. I almost wish I hadnt done that so that I could save all the torture right now i am going through waiting for each teeny single episode every day!!
