The subtitles in today's episode showed "mischievious girl" so I guess that's what it means.

Sanak means eccentricity. So Sanka Devi literally means eccentric girl or Miss eccentric :)

Ok, this mischief intrepretation is really baffling me - I'd have to figure out if my nearly 11 years of Hindi education amounted to much 😛.

Sanak clearly means eccentricity, not mischief (mischief is shararat or mischievous is natkhat). So Sanka which is derived from Sanak would mean one who is eccentric. In this case the word Devi is not used to mean goddess, but merely a polite address for a woman - like Gayatri Devi or Rabri Devi.

Putting these together the expression means Madam or Miss eccentric.
