Not back to doing these every day but maybe every once in a while if I have time/the episode's interesting
Good Points
-I'm so glad Khushi's stopped wearing those awful sarees. I hated them, they really aged her and her anarkali and normal chamkili suits are much better.
-Khushi's never-say-die attitude is super cute and I'm glad it's still intact.-When Khushi opens her eyes and notices Arnav standing between her and Shyam she instinctively moves so she's behind him even more. Protected by him from Shyam. She did a similar thing in the second episode when the neighbours came to taunt her about breaking Payal's marriage, Babuji stood up for her and Khushi moved and stood half behind him, allowing him to protect her. Obviously Babuji's tried to protect her from Shyam first but he'd kind of indisposed at the moment so now that job's fallen to Arnav. The father usually hands 'responsibility' for the daughter to the husband on the wedding day so I thought this scene was interesting.
-Arnav says 'after all I'm her husband', accepting her role in his life compared to all his previous assertions of 'she's my wife' where he's imposed himself on Khushi's life.
-Arnav's hand was shaking when he put the colour on Khushi, especially the second cheek. Showing his hesitation at touching her.
-The way they looked at each other throughout the episode was just amazing. (Slightly out of character for Arnav given his behaviour in the past month) but still amazing to watch because they both have such amazing eyes.
-Khushi's so cute!
-Khushi closes her eyes resigning herself to her fate of Shyam touching her as family who know the entire truth do nothing but stand by shocked waiting for Shyam to put colour on her. Arnav who thinks that Khushi would probably welcome Shyam's touch is the only one that eventually protects her. The useless Guptas strike again.
Bad Points
-So far every rasam that should have been done at the Guptas has ended up being done at the Raizadas, we don't care anymore so why do they always insist on adding these stupid excuses for why they are.
-Why is Arnav all teary-eyed at Nani accepting Khushi? Doesn't he want to make Khushi's life hell for the next 6 months? I just don't understand his sudden turnaround to puppy dog looks again.
-Arnav wants to pretend him and Khushi are in love so why does he first walk away when Khushi is told to put colour on him. That doesn't exactly display the love that he's trying to portray to his family.
-I want to know exactly what Shyam's thinking, does he realise Khushi and Arnav don't have a proper marriage? Does he think Khushi knows that Arnav knows about them? What? What? Before he used to get so many monologues repeating the same stuff but now we never get to see anything except his nose twitching.
-Anjali's character is so confused and some of her dialogues and actions are so conflicting. I think they're trying to make us suspicious of her but it just looks disconnected. She seems like two different characters most of the time.
-I'm glad Khushi's family forgave her and all but it looked really forced and tacked on because of how short it was. After all that 'we'll never forgive you ever again', I can understand her family softening after a while, but so suddenly and anti-climactic it just seemed random to me personally.
-Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada ' stupidest name ever.
-I don't know much about mangalsutras but why does Khushi's always change lengths? Short when she wears dresses and long when she wears sarees.
-So they definitely got married on Valentine's Day and it's now Holi but Khushi's still sleeping on the floor? Argh!
-Why did Khushi have to pay for the holi arrangements? Didn't Anjali arrange it? And why can't Khushi let Payal get the money from Akash? Why is she so insistent on doing everything herself and solving every problem? Subconscious desire to constantly seek approval and love that she feels she wouldn't get otherwise? (Which is actually true in her family's case)
