Hey Sathya loved your analysis, had missed them. I love the way you explain the smallest of nuances and give them a new meaning. But today, I saw the Khushi - Arnav gulaal incident slightly differently.
I felt that when Nani asked Khushi to apply gulaal to Arnav, she became rather nervous at the prospect of touching him purposely. Up until now, they had always touched each other accidentally but never on purpose. Khushi knows what Arnav's proximity does to her heart, it goes dhak dhak. 😆 Even when he was applying gulaal on her, she could not stand the force of her feelings and closed her eyes to quell the emotions in her, caused just by his mere look let alone touch. 😳
When Anjali said that "Chhotey ko rang lagana sabke saubhagya mein nahin hota", he wanted to give Khushi that privilege, but ONLY, if she was willing to take that initiative. Handling Arnav Singh Raizada was not for the fainthearted. He wanted her to be strong enough to be able to take that privilege as a right and not as a favor.
Hence, he walked away to see if Khushi would stop him and apply gulaal. So when Anjali stopped him, he stopped without further protest and turned willingly towards Khushi. He wanted to test Khushi, whether she was averse to applying gulaal on him or not. He watched her intently for any sign of unwillingness to do so and found none. What he found instead was her nervousness and wonderment at being given that right to apply gulaal and touch him on purpose. ❤️
To say he was dying for her to touch would be understatement. His slight turning of his face into her fingers was testament to his need for her and also as an indication of his support. He tried at that point to help her out in her nervousness. It's a pity that gesture was lost on Khushi today, but hopefully she will soon recognize that fact and they can be united forever. ❤️
