Its just like last week when I thought Kushi has found the reason for the marriage and the next scene (from next day) she says hope Arnavji doesnt know about Shyam and my engagement.

Complete disconnect. So in similar fashion I think tomorrow we can see that ASR would have heard only the last part, about applying gulal first, not her avoiding him part! My 2 cents!.

I think it has to do with her personality. That's how she is. She is an optimist. She always looks for solutions or ways to deals with situations. Look a the difference between her and Payal. Khushi has pretty much everyone against her and Payal's only problem is Mamiji. Yet khushi is much stronger and able to deal because of her chirpy personality. She doesn't let things consume her and she tries not to feel sorry for herself.

I also think that in terms of Arnav, she is getting used to his different personalities. She knows he has extremes and she adjusts herself to it. She is as close to understanding him than anyone else in his life.

but I do agree that there are inconsistencies.

There have been so many threads about this issue. I really wish that this show would show consistency, but they never have since the beginning. I am pasting what I said in another thread a few days ago: "They go from one day saying they hate each other with extreme passion and forgetting about it the next day. The day after that they act like two year olds...see what I mean no consistency. Things randomly happen from day to day without any logic." This is referring to the episode where they have the water fight. This show has some really bad writers. If you look at each individual scenes than they good (mostly because of the amazing acting though), but if you try to put all the scenes together from all the different episodes and make sense of it then you get nada. Like you said Khushi's behavior makes no sense. The saving grace is BS and SI because their acting and chemistry is simply breathtaking and they somehow make these scenes watchable.

Btw, (therealnatasha) it is not a lot to ask of a writer to be consistent. In fact that is a writers job (it is what they get paid for) so to say that just be happy with what you get doesn't really cut it. Perhaps I find this issue very bothersome because I do happen to read a lot of fiction (from classics to paranormal) and almost all of the books I have read have had really good writing. Plus my english teachers have drilled how to write well in my head, thus the inconsistencies of the writing in this show just become all the more evident. Yes the rabba ve moments are magical and I am happy with today's episode, but it do not excuse terrible writing. Anyways, unless they change the writers there is nothing we can do about it.

I disagree!! You have to look beyond the surface and think from the characters' point of view!! There is gradual buildup in each episode to where we are now!! I didn't hear Khushi saying "everythings back to normal!" She was hopeful that everything wil get better starting on this special occasion!! What's wrong with that?! That's how she is!! And they don't hate Khushi they were upset, they still are but less!! They have started to warm up slowly!! And this special occasion will bring them closer like before!! Do you really want them to stretch it some more?!

Agree with u, n its life, u have to do samjhota with it...she cant go back to her house, she tried...but failed, n she did say, what if im not at my house, im here, so ill play holi, so its ok, i dont mind it, i dont know what u all want??? When it gets rough, ppl complain when itsgoing gr8, ppl complain...enjoy it...the cvs r doing a gr8888888888 job...plz conti :))))

This switching back and forth between emotions is one of the things I really like about this show...it keeps me from getting too bored of any certain track. Like with this hate marriage track for example, if we were still in the rona dhona phase i would have been very bored, but the way the show is now, I never know what to expect in the next episode, its always a surprise and it keeps me hooked

dear.. it is a daily show and not a 3 hours movie...! They have to consider the choice of millions for their TRP's/..

I think they are doing wonderful job.. as it is only about ...entertainment... entertainment ... entertainment

Read the comments you will understand what we are advocating...consistency because that is a must in any piece of writing. I understand that many are willing to overlook it, and even I am to some extent. And I understand compromise, but then make it evident to the viewer. Let the viewer know that she has compromised with her situation in life, her six month contract. Instead of having all those unnecessary moments where she talks to herself about unimportant things, the CV's could have shown her talking to herself in such a manner that we would understand the inner turmoil she faces. Honestly critics would certainly give this show rotten tomatoes when it comes to writing, but the CV's do not care about that. All that matters at the end of the day for the CV's are trps. And I really have to ask do you honestly think this is good writing?

P.S. we are not complaining. It bothers me that anytime anyone decides to critically analyze anything about this show some people get really defensive and play the blame game and say things like people are always complaining...they are never happy. There is a difference between complaining and constructive criticism.

I commend the person who started this thread for having enough courage to point out the obvious knowing that you might get harsh replies.

To the above commentator, have you ever seen lost, fringe, the sopranos, true blood, or how i met your mother. They all had some really good writers who managed to make the show entertaining without compromising on the writing. I never said it a 3 hour movie even if its a 1000 episode show or a 1000 page novel (gone with the wind anyone), good writers maintain consistency while entertaining.

She's chirpy because she has always been like that...she likes fighting if somethings wrong rather than crying about it...and that's what we like about her...
She lives life on a brighter side of things...

and frankly the crying in the last few weeks was enough for a very long time...
