I am not sure how am I going to start and end to confine my thoughts about what was depicted in the episode today and the effect it had on me. Let me start by listing

1) Is it not cruel on ASR to make Khushi undergo the same suffering, he thinks he has gone through -when actually "Suffering is supposed to ennoble you and make you a better person"-Christian Bernard.

2) It didn't take a second of thought for Khushi to put her Jiji's interest before her own. So typical of all women- that being the greatest strength and weakness as well- we always end up drawing our self esteem and self worth from what relations we recognize ourselves in and not by being the person we are :(

3)Now imagine having gone through all of this, all of us are going to end up seeing Khushi lovey dovey with Arnav and also give due regard to her Brother in law who in her view now has wronged his Jiji by listening to his brother. Believe me there will be a lot of posts praising Lead pair,CVs and Lalit when everything is going to be all ok again. Somehow this thought at the moment is abhorring.

4)How is ASR going to redeem himself ? Can everyone for minute think what ASR would have done if Khushi had voluntarily done the same to him knowing his Di is his biggest weakness. I would seriously want to see one such a story of emotional atyachaar... And may be then the moral police would have branded Khushi as being a woman of low character... drawing us to the same point again...

100 years since we started celebrating Womens' Day still we are just where we started, fighting same issues, just on a different platform may be... It's a serious let down Mr. Lalit Mohan ... are you listening?

I did not know if you were giving us Food for thought or being sheer negligent to our sensibilities!
