i got really angry seeing how she was doing her thing with devi maiyya, as if the predicament she's in is something so frivolous that she can even think to be mock annoyed with devi maiyya. any normal person in her situation would be almost suicidal after being turned out by her maternal family. okay, she went to find solace at the mandir, but her dialogues with devi maiyya were just ludicrous. neither did i find her endearing during these scenes, nor did she elicit any sympathy from me.
Edit: I think most people who have responded to my post have missed the point i'm trying to convey. she is optimistic, she is a go-getter, she thinks all is well in life as long as she puts up a brave front. but has that left her incapable of having any insight into the severity of the situation?
I had no problem with her talkign to devimaiya, or with what she said. i don't even expect her to cry all the time. but there is no logic in her acting cutesy in this scenario. she could've said the exact same lines in a more serious note and it would've been completely plausible and even inspiring for some.
