Tant, indeed Pride v/s Prejudice. A day filled with mysteries, investigation, prejudices, beliefs, authorities, acceptances everything. But, I must say, I loved Utkarsha today. I have always loved her even when she pisses me off with her reproaches. She was fabulous today and as I said earlier, its Maami and Shyaam always who is instrumental in bringing the beauty and the beast together. She is the one who makes Arnav realize the consequences of his impulsive decision. Before I get into details of my analysis, let me finish my daily chant, you synopsis is Brilliant. As Penny Marshal says, "Directing is a Dog's job. You have to get up in the morning and stay up late till the last". I can really imagine that now. You know why??? Look how Arnav's Mom's bangles have changed??? Forget about the Director, even the editing team didn't notice it. How pathetic??? 😡 The Bangles and Payal hold most important significance in the story line, so, please do maintain it properly. They carry the emotions and traditions and values along with them.

How many times have I mentioned that my favorite episode is the "Diwali one"??? I guess numerous times. Right??? May be I have never mentioned exactly why. Lets see. It is because, that episode depicted the inner battle of Arnav; depicted his entire belief system; depicted how he values his family; depicted what it means to have your mother's last remembrance with you; depicted falling in love and closing the doors of your heart simultaneously; depicted how his ego blocks his sentiments; depicted his capability to take impulsive decisions based on his presence of mind; depicted his inability to be satisfied on his decisions; etc. This is one of the richest episodes in the history of IPK. With all the above said characteristics do you think that he is a CYNIC??? I guess all of you are nodding your head with a big NO. He is not. He is simply a hapless, emotional fool. Yes, he is the most emotional person in the entire IPK family.

That was the day, when he was mesmerized with the woman he started falling in love with. I have always mentioned if there is one scene where the IPK family had really put their brains in symbolisms was the Diya scene where Khushi herself got encircled in the vicious circle. I remembered stating it as "it reminded me of the vicious cirle (chakravue) where Abhimanyu went and only Arjun knew the way to come out. Here I felt Khushi had created a vicious cycle (sort of) around her and Arnav went inside to bring her out without knowing the way out. I guess "fate /love" will guide them how to come out of this chakravue and the outcome should not be the same as that happened to Abhimanyu". This was then sometime in Nov. I had fore see it and right now, I can see it exactly the same. Arnav is also trapped in the vicious cycle. They both have to be together to find a way out. But, why I recalled this scene is not to explain the symbolism, which I hate, but to explain about the Payal. It was that day, when Lavanya reminded Khushi of her missing payal and questioned her why she didn't accept Anjali's jewelry gift, she said, she never wears any other payal than her Mom's. She said, since the anklet is lost, she prefers her ankle to be without any ornament. All this was witnessed by Arnav and he realized that the "PAYAL" he was holding is one of Khushi's precious and how a Mother's keepsake is IMPORTANT to her. This is the only reason Arnav gave the anklet back to her. He made it sure it reaches the destined spot. Who now says he doesn't value a Mother's "Remembrance"??? Yes, he DOES. Remember when Khushi asked him if all the time you had the payal then why only today you returned it to me??? He wanted to answer her back in the Safari, but Khushi denied listening. It was evident that Arnav would have never given it back if it weren't of her Mother's. That is the value of a Mother's keepsake in the mighty Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada's heart.

Yes, the Kangan of Arnav's Mom holds a lot of value and sentiments in the eyes of her children. As Tant described the reason why Arnav gave that to Khushi, I will not go into detail. He didn't want to give it to Khushi as first and when Anjali ordered him, he had to; otherwise his entire wedding secret would be out in the open that he had guarded within himself with iron walls; then cometh Maami's investigation. Just watch that scene thoroughly. Arnav kept constant notice of Maami's investigative act. At that moment, if he hadn't put the bangles with "COMPLETE CONVICTION" then Maami's hawk eyes would have noticed the vacuum that's existent in the relationship. He has to put up a happy faade. Notice here, he didn't say to Khushi that these are his Mom's bangles; he said he have something for her and shows her the bangles. (I also loved the fact that it was given by Arnav and not by Anjali/Nani and I will explain it later as to why???) Those who have still doubt watch the scene when Arnav goes in for the second bangle away from Maami's view, he clings his jaws for a second before turning towards Khushi. Nope, he was not proud to do that but he had to because his priority at this moment is to convince both Anjali and Maami that "allz well in ARHI land'. How can he let his people know the basic reason behind his sudden wedding when "THAT" is the reason he knows will destroy his adorable family???
I must say, 4 lions have done the algorithm very nicely this time. The fiasco they did earlier had really ruined the essence of the story and the grip of the story was lost. But, this time they maintained it pretty finely with minute details.

One of the best moments and touches in IPK is associated with both the Mothers. They hold lots of values and traditional beliefs. One such scene was when for the first time Anajli and Arnav reminiscing their Mom's Kangans. That scene was fantastic. It said how, the khanak of these simple bangles used to be soothing to their ears; how these bangles witnessed their togetherness; how these bangles were supposed to be the prerogative of her heir. The small letter she wrote for her DIL talked about how to bear her son's anger and shower love in return. That scene made Arnav for the first time realize that Lavanya is not the girl that is destined for them and how her Mom would have never recognized him now. When Arnav left that room he was blocked by Khushi; what a justice??? They say even if Mothers are not present with you, then also they guide you. That day destiny again played its part; Anjali wanted Khushi to handover the Kangans to Naani but Khushi declined to do so NOT because they are a pricey metal but they are VALUEABLE, for they hold a meaning. She offered to do the household chores rather than handing over the bangles. I loved loved loved Khushi's decision that day. She knew she is not the "True Bearer" of that kangan and that is why she didn't even dare to touch it but very politely declined the request. That is the VALUE Arnav's Mom would expect to have in her daughter-in-law. That is the value Khushi has in a Mother's Remembrance, much like Arnav on Diwali night.
Today is the day, the tables have turned. That day Khushi declined to pass on the kangan to Naani but today it was that Anjali again who wanted Arnav to adorn them on Khushi's wrist. I loved loved that it was not Naani or Anjali who came to put that on her but instead it was Arnav. That's why yesterday she didn't hear when Anajli called her for the kangans. I knew if Anjali or Naani would have come to put that on her, the presumption that Khushi holds in a Mother's Keepsake, she would have flatly refused to accept it knowing this marriage is time bound and she truly doesn't deserve this, the very same way Arnav didn't mention that the kangans are his Mom's. They both have the same belief on certain matters. At this moment, Arnav knows Khushi is not the true bearer of the bangles. But Fate had other plans on this, for they are destined to be together.
I loved this scene because, this scene opened up a big loop today; that is of "CONFESSION". Yes, yes, yes. I said it earlier the confession will be with his Mom's Kangans and Khushi's Mom's Payal. Khushi will come to know eventually that these are his Mom's bangles and she will flatly refuse to wear it further and I so hope she returns them to him. The payal dropped today and now she will refuse the kangans. She forgot the payal at the room and I hope it gets picked up by Arnav again but by the time he gets it, the big showdown between them will happen. Knowing Khushi, she will discredit Arnav for his disgraced behavior towards the sentiments attached with the kangans. She will. I know it. I would be happy if she walk away refusing to stay with a man who disgraces his Mom's memento. That is when Arnav will again start looking backwards about his decision and start acting up on the URGE that he felt yesterday. He will, as I said something big needs to happen for Arnav to start connecting the dots. As I said today's Kangan and Payal hold a deeper meaning for the future track.
Yes, as Khushi will realize eventually why Arnav gave back her Payal on Diwali night and also why Arnav didn't mention that the kangans were of his Mom's so does Arnav will also realize her true feelings behind refusing to wear his Mom's Kangans. The loop has opened with Arnav putting both the Bangles and Payal but without true intentions and it will close with Arnav putting it again on Khushi but this time to claim her as his own. Earlier, in both the times Arnav's purposes were hidden but this time it will be with full truthfulness and faithfulness and LOVE.

I always have liked Utkarsha...esp her smile and I agree she was a rockstar but I have to add the dialogue writer makes her so ..😃Coming to the episode - again a a fab episode! ⭐️ The pace, the characterization, the scenes, the actors, everything is just perfect! Coming to the first scene Anjali and her chotte - chotte would do anything for his di! The small moment of reflection when Anjali asked him what was he hiding - he was stunned -- realizing he was hiding a lot from her and which one was exactly Anjali wanting to know. He would do anything for his di - that has become quite evident now. One thing I dont understand is that the Kangan is supposed to be having real high values both Anjali and Arnav -- but the way it was given -- dint make me comfortable!
The Kangan does have real value , Anna but Anjali has greater value in his eyes ...He gave it to Khushi without saying it is his Mom's ..He gave it but his heart was not in it ...You can notice the aversion when he is giving it to Khushi..Coming to Khushi -- is Sanaya the cutest actress or what? 😛 She looked so cute in the white shirt and like you said and I quote "Also loved the fact that Khushi without an iota of self consciousness wore Arnav's shirt, confirming that she does consider him as her man !!" For whatever it is worth - these two belong to each other. Khushi taking Arnav's shirt without thinking the repercussions it could have - shows that just like he thinks of her as his, she some how does the same 😳
Sanaya is cute but Y'day I felt Deepali was the prettiest of the two 😃Again -- U have symbolized the Payal and the Bangle scene perfectly! This I dint realize because I was so caught up in ArHi's cute fake romance. 😆 But yes now when I read your explanation, I can see that it does symbolize the bold. It shows that her bidaai has been done (even if not by happiness) and she has been accepted as the bahu.
The second instance was the Payal falling ... Khushi is getting ready for the Muh Dhikayi and she notices her Payal has come undone , she picks it up but does not have the time to put it on yet for her blouse rips and she sets about stitching it ...when in barges Arnav...and puts on his Mom's bangles ...Note the sequence ..Payal loosens its hold on Khushi while Kangan claims her !!..In short she has had her bidaai from her Mother's house and has been accepted into Raizada's house as Raizaada Bahu, Arnav's wife ...Note too the positioning of Arnav... On his knees , below Khushi ..Seeking her hand ...when he puts on her Mother's payal.. and today too same [almost] position when he puts on the Kangan ...I loved these lines and I really loved Mami here. Sometimes when I try to understand Mami, I think she is not that bad at heart as she is shown. Yes she may not be very soft with her tone at times yet - there is a reason why Arnav respects her and today we saw one too. She was looking out for just her bahu but for Khushi also. And the sign of relief that crossed her face when the catty woman praised both the bahus! She may irritate most of us at times. But today she gave me a reason to like her!
Maami has a heart, most of the time hidden under acerbic tongueThen comes that Catty Sumitra.. Maami's persona changes , She immediately stands up, like a mother hen watching over its flock, ready to defend and fight for the chicks if the need arose ..Again loved how you ended it👏What will happen when the family realizes that the Khushi kept quiet about Shyam, That the Marriage was time bound and thereby a lie !!
