o ASR: (Between snapped teeth) Don't talk to me like that.

o Khushi(Stops in the process of taking out more bangles, looks up at Arnav): Kyun, Kyun nahin bolen hum? Aap hamare saath kuchh bhi Karen aur hum chup chap sehte jayen? Aapki jawabdari bhi na Karen? Scene: Morning, breakfast time. All the family is gathered around the breakfast table. All except Khushi and Arnav.

Arnav enters. Payal moves around the table to serve Arnav. He Looks all around. Then turns to Di.

o Arnav: Di, Khushi kahan hai?

o Anjali: Chote, Khushi subah subah Mandir gayin hai. Paas waale devi ma ke mandir. Jald hi aa jayengi. Mujhe lagta hai tumhe unke saath jaana chahiye. Unka ghar mein aaj pehle din hai, aur'

o Arnav(Looks pointedly at Shyam, who turns to look away in anger crushing his teeth together. ASR looks at Anjali.):Nai, thik hai di. Mera thodi der mein conference hai. Wo aa jayegi.

o Mamiji: Hello, hi bye bye. Ab Mandir aur kya wishiane gayi? Ka Raizada Mansion inhesitant banaye ke maange khatir gayi hai? Hmm.

o Arnav looks at Mamiji and then lets it go. Anjali closes her eyes in frustration. Nani pauses but looks away from her plate for a bt and ten resumes eating. Shyam Still grinding his teeth and facial muscles. Akash looks at Payal and Payal looks at Akash in that usual pitiful way of hers and Akash slowly closes and opens his eye reassuringly in his usual way.

o Mamaji Looks at Arnav and Pats the seat next next to him.

o Mamaji: Aao Bitwa kuchh khaye lo.

o Arnav walks upto to the seat and plops down and pours himself some tea and the rest of the family carries on with the breakfast.

Scene: Lunch time rolls along. Hari prashad laying out the table. Shyam talking to someone over the phone in the sitting room.

There's a knock on the door.

HP Goes opens the door. A tired looking Khushi enters in the Puja thali in hand.

o HP: Khushi didi hame de dijiye ye thali.

o Khushi looks up at HP gratefully and complies with a small smile. Shyam looks up hearing khushi's name

o Shyam(Over the phone):Hum aapse baadmei baat karte hain(All the time his eyes following Khushi up the stairs and in the direction of the pool.) Then he looks about himself seeing no one around, heads the same way.

Scene: Arnav in his room.

Scene:Pool Side from Arnav's room.

A Sad faced Khushi defeatedly, (like she is fighting hard to not lose an almost lost battle, yet resigned to her fate) walks down the stairs to the poolside. The daylight reflecting water of the pool reflected on her beautiful face as she walks slowly towards ASR and her room. Her face, expressing of gloom, haunted by the memories of just a few days and hours ago, of her lofty dreams and now her impending doom, her life for the next six months and afterwards. She lets go of a sob. When'

o Footsteps' down the poolside stairs.

o She breaths hard to stop another sob from surfacing.

o Shyam(Stepping away from the stairs walking towards Khushi): Khushi Ji, rukiye. Aap ko hamari baat ka jawaab dena hi hoga. Aap aisa kaise kar sakti hain Khushi Ji? HAmare pyaar ko nazar andaaz kaise kiya aapne? Kya aapko hamara zara bhi khayal nahin aaya ki ham pe kya beet raha hoga.(Khushi turns and stares at Shyaam in disbelief and an expression that can be closely associated with defeat and disgust) Aap us Arnav Singh Raizada ke saath kaise shaadi karne ko raazi ho gayin Khushi ji.

o And he tries to grab hold of her arms to shake some answers out of her. Khushi tries to shrug his attempts. He tries again, this time with more anger and hurt ego.

o Khushi tries to turn away repulsed by his blabber and touch.But, she is weak from lack of food .

o The door to their room opens. Out comes ASR and BAM!!

o A heavy handed punch to right side of Shyams face resulting ina blackened eye bleeding nose and a broken skin near his swollen lip.

o Khushi slumps down in a wave of weakness. Her last thoughts before she does "Kya Arnav ji ne Shyam ji pe haath uthaya?"

o Arnav turns to a fallen Khushi and rushes to her side.

o Arnav: Khushi!!!

o (recovering from the punch simultaneously)Shyam: Khushi Ji!!!

o Arnav picks up his wife in his arms and turns towards Shyam, a warning light in his eyes. Shyam standing there with an obsessively concerned expression for Khushi and hatred for Arnav!!!

o Arnav decidedly turns and walks into his room with an almost passed out Khushi in his arms. Puts her on their bed and walks back to the door. Looks pointedly at Shyam' Who is still standing motionless at the poolside seething in anger looking even more evil with is twitching left face and a blackened right. Arnav Shuts the door on Shyam's face and pulls the curtains still Looking at Shyam with triumphant glare of possession in his eyes!!!!!
