Yes it would be great to see a stronger Khushi emerge...one who will put her self respect and pride above all else.

Shiz, your topic and I'm unaware. Shame on me.
I would love love loveee to see Khushi giving ASR a dose of his medicine. I don't mean that she should torture him or anything, but at least until he continues to dominate her, especially on unfair grounds..she should come off as a very strong woman for herself and the relationship.

Maybe later? Maybe when Arnav pushes her too far?

But see the thing is, if you watch the show from the start, there is a pattern:

Khushi stands up for herself
Khushi doesn't stand up for herself
Khushi stands up for herself
Khushi doesn't stand up for herself.

I think the creatives are just biding their time and there will be one moment (like the time when Khushi shoved Arnav) when hell will break lose.

I just hope that at that time, these type of posts do not come up,

"Why is Khushi behaving like this?"
"Poor Arnav, Khushi should be nicer"

etc etc

Nice post, don't be disheartened by views and comment count :)

oh no hun, its not about the views or comments actually rather the non responsive crowd really pulled my nerve - i'd rather hear criticism than a bland reply = no reply.

anyway coming back to topic, a friend kept on saying this quote, hell hath no women like a women scorned, and i keep on coming back to it. Arnav has pushed it too far, and without even giving her a reason for this sudden change of heart. Hell should break loose NOW, imo he shattered her dreams, forced into a unwanted marriage, emotionally blackmailed her, made the word marriage meaningless through this contract deal, turned her family against her... - is that too less in your eyes? Or rather should he do more, so khushi finally ignites and pushes back?

Yeah i agree about the cycle, just when you think she is standing strong she buckles again. Which is why, this time around i want to see her stronger and fiercer. And i actually wish to see a time, where Khushi stands strong and yes many will object or praise but they are doing that today also for Arnav...

I think in the beginning, Khushi might be a bit unsettled as u rightly put it. The hostility of the family members, the bipolar reactions of Arnav Bitwaa to whom she has just pledged herself for 6 beautiful months, no clothes to wear, a Suhaag Raat coming close etc will weaken her. She may not understand what's driving Arnav to behave in an odd manner. One day she will get fed up, or he will bring in the hug and she will fire up. I am waiting for that scene.

If the CVs want to redeem themselves for the mess they created, they have to show a stronger Khushi. She has to give it back to ASR. Of course, then he will get meaner and she will still not spare him.
I dont want a broken Khushi as right now i am depressed just seeing her go through hell and losing everything.
I started watching this show for a bubbly Khushi and I will stop watching if she turns into an SP ever sacrificing ever misunderstood ever crying bahu!
And yes, I want to see that Khushi who shoved ASR and then threw her resignation at his face. Right now, he has done worse to her than the guest house incident.

That's what I am talking about. Go girl. It's time to be herself and be ready not to take any nonsense from Arnav or Mami. He asked to marry her only but nothing have been dictated, how to behave with him or with his family.

If she keeps on reminding him about her eagerness to finish six months and get away from him forever, that will hit on his nerves.

Seriously, CVs think about this and introduce in the series, i will be sold.
