i think because Arnav did not give her any reason she is confused as to why he is behaving like this.In case Arnav told her the reason about getting to know about Shyam and her. He also informs her that Shyam the creep when confronted told him she also loves him she will get the picture.She would surely know what answer to give her family and how to handle the situation.
