I agree. I think it's unfair to put all blame on ASR alone. I had post this in another thread:

Ok so I couldn't help but post my 2 cents. I am actually feeling for both as they are both caught up in fate's twisted plan. They are both being punished while Shyam is the real culprit!!

To protect his sis and baby, ASR can marry all the women that Shyam tries to have an affair with.
I think he needs to deal with Shyam. Ruining someone else's life just because you can is not the solution. Ruining her life as well as that of her sister's is what he is intending to do.

😊 Y he has gone for contract marriage???? Wat u hv xpected he will say "khushi chalo abhi bhag ke shadi kar lete hai". Khushi will say "yes y not" n blush. He knew well khushi will never say yes bcoz in his mind he has accepted dis fact dat she is deeply in love wid shyam n dat was d urgent need to do nethg. Otherwise shyam hv got enough time to plot a plan against him. He has also dat in mind dat khushi sud not get time to converse wid shyam. Dat is y he is constantly keeping an eye on dem.

😊Y he didn't ask kkg???? Few truth revealed to him by witnessing dem 2gether on terrace n rest he has heard from shyam which unfortunately gets gel wid d terrace truth he has seen. So at d back of his mind he knows dat khushi loves shayam, so in hurry he made decision to marry her. Bcoz he don't want to hurt his Di firstly who is pregnant n secondly he don't to gv chance shyam to do nethg against Anjali.

😊ASr will bcome worser dan shyam or will bcome shyam. Seriously I laugh on dem widout ne offence. Either dey don't abt d show or dey don't know my gadhu. Shyam ia an evil'to get khushi wat he has done'paralysed babuji'tried to kill anjali'n wat not.

While ASR is doin to save 2 lives 2gether - anjali n her child. Do I need to say more???? Innumerable instances we hv seen of helping khushi even wen he hated him from d very beginning. Those who hv forgetten let me remind u scene of Guest House.

Neways can't agree more wid all ur pts u put forward. He is reacting on half truth known to him n khushi still unware of all situations.

It will b nice to c their turmoil n wen shyam truth will b out, their love will b a treat to watch.

He is dealing with Shayam. Think back to what Shayam said to him. "The ONLY person stopping me from being with Khushi is YOUR sister." And in true ASR style (and I think ANY brother would do this in essence) ASR stepped in and is making himself the one that stands between Shayam and Khushi. People are forgetting that he is just as much setting himself up as Khushi is being set up. Or do people think only a girl's life can be ruined in a loveless marriage and not a man's? His decision is based on fear, anger, distrust, survival and heartbreak. Her's is based on pure loyalty to her sister, nothing else (although I'm hoping she retains that tiny bit of trust that Arnav is not worse than Shayam.)

So it's counter strike, and a tactical move. He's not ruining her life because he can, since she easily could have called his bluff when he pointed out he wouldn't go to Akaash's wedding. Arnav would never have let his brother down... How is it he knows her so well, and she still doesn't know him at all? Her weakness that is. Shayam has ruined her life, Arnav is going to save it... In time. In a sense, he already has.

👏 thank you for saying everything I've been feeling ... fed up of the ASR bashing and the put-downs 😡 and the stupid discussions about how he will use sex & violence in the marriage to hurt her. Yesterday was a depressing day on the Forum - too much negativity 😭 Glad between you and HoneyPriya you've sorted that out !👏!

First of all thanks to this post..👏..I was really getting upset with all negative posts abt ASR.. and specially the one where he is being compared with shyam..I wanted to comment on that ..but seriously didnt want to give that much importance to that post..so thought of ranting it out on your post..😛

Some points that I want to make too..

1. ASR is not aware of Khushi's innocence- I agree that he should have atleast given her chance to speak or asked for clarification..instead of asking the creep for the same..but ppl have to understand that there is man out of there who doesnt trust people that easily ..its his sister he trusts the most..when he sees her trust broken so badly..and plus added all evils smirks given by snake..why on earth will he trust a girl who he met few months ago..his jija has spent so many years wid him..I agree that he should know kkg by now..but whatever he knew of this girl. all gone with those tears that he shed remembering her moments with him...this to me stating the fact that he felt betrayal..

2. ASR is the hero and Shyam is villian- People should really see this show from the start if they are not seeing..How on earth can these two be compared..First of all please Shyam doesnt love khushi...he just want her..when I am stating this fact..I am damn sure it is just physical attraction or lust and I like dialogue also of khushi stating to him "Jo apni biwi ka nhi ho saka woh hamara kya hoga".How can one compare our Arnie wid this dreaded monster who is just sick bast**d...sorry I dont use such words but got carried away.. Here also with this act ..Arnav is unknowingly though protecting khushi from monster..yeah many people will say that she is under same roof but they forgot she is now in lion's den.. Shyam can no longer touch what belongs to him..😳..I always like protective streak of men..for their women😍..

3. Blackmailing thing and Domestic Abuse- Well for blackmailing khushi..he knew her very well..that why he chose to go by this..here he knew she wont be able to deny it since it will be second time that is happening..and I dont think he was actually serious about it..here stating the fact if he was going to do that ..how and what excuse will he give the family and more importantly to his Di..it is just shown this way that he threatens..when actually he was using the weakness of kkg.. Well enough posts of domestic violence..I dont think Arnie is into beating wife and all...Cum on guys...even from the start of the show whenever Arnie has manhandled her..it was always unintentional..when he realises he is hurting poor kkg..he always releases grip...and pls dont make him culprit here before even they show his behavior ..waise I was scared of KKG too when I saw those red blooded eyes after all crying from Arnie..but still for me ASR will never do that..for sure
