So I've never written an Arnav x Khushi shot before, nor have I come on the forum but I've recently started watching the show and since I used to love writing for my other couples, I thought I'd give them a try.

Khushi Kumari Gupta watched with a pleased smile as her sister raised the garland and placed it around Akashji's neck.
Arnav Singh Raizada had finally reappeared and so Akash had continued on with the first wedding ritual. Akash lifted his garland and placed it around Payal's neck, smiling softly at the way she lowered her gaze, not wanting him to see the nervousness she felt.
Khushi helped lead her sister to the mandap while watching Arnav from the corner of her eye. There was something wrong with him but she couldn't quite place her finger on it. He had seemed much happier earlier in the day and then something had changed. It was almost as if he had recoiled into the shell of his former self.
"Jo bhi ho, mujhe kya." Khushi said to herself as she stepped back from the mandap. Unconsciously her gaze returned to Arnav but her breath got caught seeing that he too was staring back at her. A strange emotion reflected in his eyes. She was about to look away when he subtly gestured for her to come near him.
Why would he want to talk to her? And why should she even obey any of his commands? She wasn't his servant. Again he gestured impatiently. Khushi sighed and nodded. Not wanting to draw attention to herself she slipped away from her mother and bua before walking towards him.
"Kya hai Arnavji? Aap dekh nahi rahe? Shaadi ho rahi hai."
He didn't answer her. Instead he gripped her hand tightly and tugged. "Ow." She let out a wince, his grip was too tight and he was hurting her. Instead of feeling remorse, she saw his eyes darken with anger.
This wasn't a good feeling. She felt herself being dragged up the stairs with him and unwillingly went along. She knew if she stopped and created a scene, it would only halt the wedding and be a cause for more drama which neither her sister nor Akashji needed.

"Hum yahaan kyun aaye hai?" Khushi frowned as he led her outside to his SUV.
"Chup chap gaadi mein betho." Arnav said through gritted teeth.
"Arnav ji. Aapka dimaag toh theek hai na? Aapke bhai ki aur meri di ki shaadi ho rahi hai."
He turned to face her and his glare was enough to shut her up. "Just get in the damn car."
Khushi gulped. She knew better than to cause another argument. Hesitantly she slowly lifted her arm to the handle but Arnav grabbed it roughly and pulled it open, the side of the door hitting Khushi's shoulder.
"Aahh!" she let out a sharp yell as she gripped her shoulder. Her eyes were closed in pain and for a second Arnav's heart filled with remorse, but then the words Khushi had said to Shyam resurfaced and his hatred returned.
He glanced at the door impatiently and watched as Khushi gave him a pained expression. Her eyes were easily readable again. She despised him didn't she? Despised him for being cruel. Despised him for hurting her. Or perhaps she despised him simply because he was Anjali's brother and Anjali was the only reason she couldn't be with the one she truly loved.
That thought raised bile to his throat but he suppressed the urge to vomit as he climbed into the car. He wouldn't let her affect him this way. He would return to his former self. The man who didn't care, the man who didn't show his emotions; the man she knew hated her.
A few minutes into their drive Khushi regained her voice. "Aap mujhe kahan le jaa rahe hain?"
He didn't answer. What could he tell her? He was making arrangements to keep her from hurting his sister's life. He knew she'd run back to the house instantly if she knew.
"Tum aur Shyam upar chaat pe kya baatein kar rahe the?" His voice was cold.
Khushi was stunned and for once quiet. She had no answer for him. Of course she didn't. She knew he had caught them. She knew he had caught his brother-in-law with the woman he claimed to love. "Aap--aapne kya suna?"
"Jo bhi tumne aur usne kaha." Arnav snarled, not willing to look at her. "Mujhe pata tha. Pata tha mujhe ke tum--tum aisi hi niklogi. Chote log hamesha aise hi hote hai. Upar se bahot aache lagte hai, aur andar se? Bilkul neech."
"Arnav ji." Khushi's voice sounded weak, almost as if she were crying.
That was good wasn't it? He wanted her to feel pain. He wanted her to feel the way he'd been feeling since he saw them together. "Kya hua Khushi? Chauk gayi? Ke mujhe sachai pata hai."
"Aapko kuch nahi pata." Her voice quivered. "Kuch bhi nahi."
He scoffed. The truth? He knew the truth. She was lying. She was always lying. She was never the sweet girl his nani and di claimed she was. She was always who he thought she was initially. His destination appeared up ahead and he slammed the brakes and pulled the key from the ignition, turning to face her.
"Acha? Toh phir sachai kya hai? Batao."
And so she started. She confessed everything to him. What Shyam had said. Who he was to her before she found out he was Anjali's husband and the main truth of all; how he repulsed her and how she wanted nothing to do with him. Everything was out in the open on her side. Her heart beat rapidly as she awaited his reaction. He had stayed quiet while she revealed everything making her nervous. Did he believe her? Did he trust her? Would he understand what she had gone through?
And when his eyes finally looked into her, she knew she found her answer.

So? How was it? *hides* I hope it was okay seeing as it was my first try at their character. The ending was meant to be open like that. I want you all to think of whatever end you'd like because I was stuck between both a happy and a sad end so I left it open for you to pick whichever way you'd like it to go :)
