PART 3 😊. Let me know what you think!

All the traditions were nearly over and the guests nearly gone. But Khushi still stood in the room, looking up at the stars, she smiled sadly, " How many jalebi's do I make this time?"
Arnav, on the other hand, was calmly explaining to everyone, including Khushi's family that he married Khushi for all the right reasons. "I'm tired of these questions. I am done answering. We are married and that's the end of that. Accept it." His voice quivering with impatience, he looked at Anjali and said, " Di, let Khushi know that I'm waiting."
Forgetting all queries, Anjali happily went looking for Khushi. What she saw, both broke her heart and made it leap. Khushi looking up at the stars and whispering, "Is this what I deserve?"
It was as if there were two universes in that mansion. One, where there was a happy couple and the other where, there was Khushi and Arnav.
Taking a deep breath, Arnav entered his room. Pushing his emotions to the deepest part of him, he strengthened his resolve. Khushi Kumari Gupta. You will never mess with anyone again. I'll make sure of that.
*Dhak Dhak..Dhak Dhak*
She turned around to look at him. Maybe he'll hear me out now. Afterall I am his wife. She smiled timidly and said, "I want to talk to you." She felt his anger, closed her eyes and sighed. I have to convince him to listen to me. He will understand me. He'll believe me. He just has to listen. She nodded to herself and looked up to see the room empty. She waited and waited but he never came back.
She walked out of his room, wishing that she had never come to Delhi. Walking to the guest bedroom. She heard him snarl, "This is your room. I've told everyone that we need to get comfortable with each other before we consummate our marriage. They agreed. As if that's going to happen. A wh**e like you doesn't need time, she needs money."
She nodded. She knew that this hatred would have come at one point. It was hard to believe how much he had changed in the last 24 hours.
It had been a week since she had seen him. He did his best to avoid him while she did her best to talk to him.
A week turned to into a month. A month into two.
"Arnav ji, please talk to me. Or if nothing else atleast listen. Both Jiji and I have tried to explain what had happened but you refuse to respond and belive us." Frustratingly, Khushi looked back at her silent husband. I love him. But he hates me. How can I make you believe me?"
As she left the room, she turned around to look at her husband. Husband. Khushi Raizada. It has such a nice ring to it. If only. She shook her head. That would never happen. This wasn't real and it never will be. Bowing her head in defeat she walked out only to face Anjali Ji.
"Oh! Anjali Di! How are you feeling today? How's the little baby?" Smiled Khushi.
"I'm prefect Khushi. I could not be happier." Said a forlorn Anjali.
"What's wrong? Why do u look sad? Did something happen?"
Anjali looked up to see a concerned Khushi examining her. She smiled. I wish things were okay. I wish Chote respected you. I wish you both didn't act in front of me. I wish I could fix it. Smiling, she walked away to see her grandmother.
Arnav turned around to see Khushi looking at his Di walking away. Khushi looked beautiful. Not that I care.He sighed and just as he was turning away, he saw Shyam looking at Khushi. Blood boiled through his veins and rage overtook all his guilt and pain. Covering the distance between him and Khushi in two quick strides, he took her by her arm and turned her to face Shyam. She whimpered and quivered. He looked down at her, only to see disgust in her eyes. Is she disgusted when I touch her? No, that can't be right... Yes, ofcourse she's disgusted. She loves Shyam. As he convinced himself, he heard Shyam say, "Hi Khushi ji."
Shyam's eyes sparkled at the sight of her and he smirked, knowing how much it irked Khushi every time Shyam would come near her. In the past month, he'd fool his wife so easily and would try and come near Khushi every chance he got. And the irony was, even her oh-so-protective husband never saw him misbehave. He remembered Arnav threatening him on that fortunate night of Akash's and Payal's marriage. Wuss. Arnav can't do anything. He looked at the anger blazing in Arnav's eyes and smiled. This is what you get Khushi Ji for not understanding my feelings.
A shocked Khushi looked at Arnav and then at Shyam. Her patience disappearing, she sighed. What has my life come to. I'm stuck between two men and their desires. One lusts after me while the other uses me as a pawn in his game. She shuddered feeling both pain at how hard Arnav held her arm and the lustfull eyes of Shyam. She remembered all those times, Shyam would come in the kitchen and try to touch her. She would always threaten him. And he would always back off knowing well that he could get caught in his web of lies. But recently, it was as if he feared no one. She gulped thinking of his intentions. I miss you Jiji, you were the only one who helped me every day. You were the only one who listened and calmed me down. I can't believe you left me to go with Akash Ji. I can't believe that you are so far away. I wish you both would return from Australia soon. She turned to face the situation in front of her. Frustration and anger at it's peak, she figured it was time for her to say what was in her mind.
Khushi wriggled out of Arnav's tight grip, looked him in the eye and said, "You don't belive me. Fine. You don't want to hear me out - fine! But how on earth can you believe his every word? I don't understand you Mr. Raizada. You had me believed you possessed the ability to think, but I must have misunderstood you all those times you mocked me for not having a brain." And with that, she turned and followed Anjali Ji, leaving behind two very shocked men.
