Dear all,
This is my first post in IF on IPKKND.
In fact, I chanced upon the 19 Jan episode of IPKKND accidently and have since been hooked on to the serial. I have watched all the episodes starting from 8 June in the last couple of weeks and can't seem to get enough of it.
I think the main reason behind IPKKND's popularity is the refreshingly different storyline and the characterisation of the leads. Both Arnav and Khushi are shown to be strong personalities in their own way – truthful, straightforward and headstrong. At the same time, their characters have a strong emotional and compassionate streak due to a painful past - they are both closely attached to their families and all their love/hate tracks so far have been based on their efforts to keep their respective family members happy.
Based on the current track, I think we miles away from a love confession between ArHi because once the confession is over, their "pyar" will already have a name. I also don't think that there should be a "forced marriage" for the same reason.
In fact, while we are all enjoying the beautiful and cute ArHi romantic antics, it is too early to say that they are in love. It is more appropriate to say that ArHi is in the process of realising their attraction towards each other.
Coming to the promo about Arnav overhearing Shyam's conversation with Khushi (though I haven't seen it myself), I think we can hope to look forward to some very interesting ASR scenes in the coming days. Being a smart businessman he is, I think it will be stupid if he were to forcefully marry Khushi or send Khushi away just to save Anjali's marriage. If he really cares deeply about Anjali, he will instead try to find out Shyam's intentions and expose him before he attempts to hurt Anjali again. After all, the root of the problem is not Khushi but Shyam. There is no guarantee that he will not be chasing another girl in the future. It's time to show the world that ASR takes decisions with his "head" and not "heart".
On a parallel track, after Khushi comes to know that Shyam is trying to kill Anjali to marry her, she will distance herself from Arnav and Raizada family. So there will be separation, but there will not be any hatred. As our protagonists move forward with their respective lives once again, their paths will cross time and again and the ArHi attraction will progress to the next level. In this process, Babuji and Anjali will also play an important role.
For once we have a tele-soap which is edgy and relatable and the CVs should maintain this trend of storytelling. It is very important that the ASR's reaction to Shyam's real character sync's with ASR's characterization so far. If you show a smart, suave and intelligent businessman cowing down before his emotions and hating the girl he thinks he loves, then we have another clich tele-soap. Similarly, if he stands tall in support of Khushi at this juncture, it is not justified because their relationship has not matured into love as yet.
All in all, I think it's time for us to fasten our seatbelts for some power packed performances from Arnav, Shyam and Anjali.
Cheers!
