After Arnav filled Khushi's maang, both of them turn back to Anjali who was smiling through her tears and through her pain. Just to make a final note Anjali said.
Anj: Chotey now u cant back out. U r already married to Khushi. This is equal to a full marriage, so dont start finding any excuse to escape after this...Khushi ji is ur wife now totally...
Arnav and Khushi were trying to still accept what has just happened and millions of thoughts flooding their minds, all incoherent ones. Arnav just nodded his head. Anjali then turned to Khushi who had her head bent now.
Anj; Khusji ji...hope u r not disappointed that ur wedding had to take place like this, but this is not all. U will have the entire wedding this is only a precap (she winked). I shall call u bhabhi from now. It sounds so good. Come here near me pls.
Khushi had to walk past Arnav to Anjali, when her shoulders brushed his chest. Both of them felt an entire difference in the touch now, not that they had not touched before (accidentally of course) but just a brush had a sea of difference. "IS IT SO?" Arnav thought.
When Khushi held Anjali's hands, Anjali became very emotional
Anj: Khushi ji...i mean bhabhi..after this my chotey is your responsibilty. I know he is very troublesome and pig headed but he is very good at heart. Please bear with him until he changes for good.
Khushi didn't know wat to reply. She nodded her head. Arnav interrupted, "Di its enough, go to sleep pls listen to me now.."
Anjali nodded her head and Arnav and Khushi left the room. When they were out, they were embarrassed to look at each other. After a great deal of silence Khushi broke it by asking, "arnavji did inform everyone at home about the accident, if not i think its time u call them."
Arnav without looking at her mumbled "yeah u r right..guess i'll call them now..."
Khushi was shocked at his first words "u r right?" did i hear him correctly but this was not the time nor the situation.
As Arnav called Akash and Shaym to inform about the accident Khushi was also calling her home to tell them the news, but both of them did not reveal that THEY WERE MARRIED...
EVeryone at the RM were shocked and rushed to the hospital, while Shyam was shocked to hear that Anjali was still alive. At Gupta's shouse, buaji, payal and Garima informed Khushi's Babuji about the news and rushed to the hospital.
Once off the phone Arnav did not know wat to talk and how to react, when he looked up at Khushi she was standing there her body language and her face clearliy expressing how tense she is at the reaction that they are going to get and it looked like her head would just burst off with the tension. Arnav felt so sorry for her and without thinking went near her and stood, he took hold of her hand when she looked up at him. He was seeing her eye to eye first time after THEIR MARRIAGE and could see fear, confusion and so many mixed emotions, but beyond all that he could see and sense an innocent affection towards him (though he didnt want to term the "affection" as love). He softly spoke to her "Dont worry Khushi im there...we'll face it together."
For Khushi it was too reassuring she understood and accepted at that moment that she indeed loved THE LAAD GOVERNOR. She held on his hand for dear support.
Both the families arrived at the same time and were walking towards the direction given by Arnav over the phone. When they took one look at Arnav and Khushi standing there hand-in-hand and with sindhoor on Khushi's maang, they stood to the spot. Shyam never in his wildest dreams thought that though his plan half successful would burn his face like this. Buaji was the one to break the shock..
Buaji: Khushi..what is this? wat have u done?
Kh: Buaji woh...
Arnav: We are married. Di wanted us to get married immly and we complied to her wishes.
Nani came out with the worst fear seeing Arnav's state and asked, "Chotey, is Anjali bitiya alright, is anything wrong with her?"
Arnav went about explaining whatever happ to both the families. Everyone had their own opinions to talk off. Arnav and Khushi waited for the chaos to die down. At last when the thought that they were married had sunk in everyone's mind, a nurse came out calling to them, "the patient is awake now u can go in and see her, but pls dont cry in front of her and disturb her much.."
Both the families entered the room, Anjali smiled at all of them. After the initial hussle Anjali addressed Buaji..
Anj: Buaji im sorry that I made Khushi ji accept my wish without consenting the family, but i hope u understand my mind state and my fear..
Buaji was confused wat to reply, she just nodded her head and patted Anjali's hand.
After a few minutes Nani came up "Madhumathi ji, now that the scenario has changed, y not keep both the weddings tomorow itself. There is no need to arrange for another wedding, wat do u say?"
Before anyone could answer Arnav spoke "No nani, let Di get out of the hospital then we will plan it."
Akash: Yeah I think we should postpone my wedding also, i dont want to marry without Di at the wedding.
Everyone were shocked to hear it. Anjali reacted first.
Anj: No Akash u cant do that. Chotey pls do a help for me. go to the doc and find out if i can be out at the mandap for few hours tomorw.
Arnav: Di pls...u cant do that...
Anjali: Chotey pls go and find out...
Arnav turns to leave the room, when he stops by the door and calls "Khushi come with me.." Somehow he felt that she will be alone there if he is not there and he didnt want to leave her even for those few mins. Khushi was shocked to hear him speak in that voice but meekly followed him. Everyone's eyes were on the couple as they left.
After half an hour Arnav and Khushi entered the room stating that the doc has given permission after great persuasion for two hours but strictly that Anjali should be in the wheelchair and that there should absolutely be no strain on her.
Everyone started talking about what should be done tomorrow for both the weddings. Three of them amongst the crowd were quiet. Arnav and Khushi still battleing the situation and their feelings. Shyam caught too off guard for any plan.
After everything was decided. Arnav insisted that everyone leave including Khushi and that he will stay for the night. When everyone started and Khushi was the last to leave the room, Arnav caught Khushi's hand and when she looked up signalled her with his eyes to wait. They waited for everyone to leave and few mins later arnav walked out of the room with Khushi, still holding her hand.
Arnav: Khushi...listen i know how hard all this is for u...believe me it is equally hard for me..what with my Di like this and this marriage thing..but thank u so much for supporting me and my Di...I dont know wat else to say..but thanks again...and pls trust me when I say Im here...i shall take care of everything...ur family and their apprehensions and everything...u dont have to worry about anything...is that ok?
Arnav waited for her reply but still her head was bent. He slowly put a finger under her chin and lifted it so that she was facing him. Looking into her eyes Arnav asked again "is that okay?"
Khushi's tears just gushed out that she was holding all these hours in front of the families. She fell into Arnav's chest sobbing. Arnav did not for a minute hesitate to put his arms around her and comfort her. He thought "y should i hesitate to hold her, after all she is MY WIFE..."
