Great post Rushri! I could not agree with you MORE! I have NEVER followed an Indian serial and when I first saw this one, I had no idea that it would influance me AT ALL! To be honest I didnt really care to watch it, and I was not that impressed by Barun either! (Sorry BS, that was THEN, but NOW I am your Deewani!).

I was like you Rushiri. I am NOT a teenager to be impressed with a sexy voice and handsome face easily! Been there DONE that! I am a well educated female with a career, husband + kid and BRAINS! So NOT easily duped!

THEN I saw the "fainting and catching" of the Teej scene! The hotness of this guy impressed upon me for the first time in that scene + the rawness of the emmotions communicated themselves SO well, that I was crying at the end of the "Rabba Ve"! This got me a bit curiouse! (since I was crying without knowing ANYTHING of the back story)! Then I decided to "Check out this show" on Youtube! I watched the first few episodes and I was HOOKED! I was hooked on ARHI and hooked on ASR and then hooked on Barun!

So that is MY journey with Barun! Thank you Barun, coz you have made me LOVE a fictional charachter this much since Mr.Darcy! I am actually in love with ASR and also with ARHI! (that includes you Sanaya, I love you too!)

Sometimes when I am driving, I find myself smiling at nothing! THAT means I am thinking of HIM or thinking of THEM! This has not happened to me in years! ARHI are truly a "Phenomenon"!

Mr LM and team, you guys have NO idea what kind of monster you have created! Congratulations!

Neways, yeah u said it correct, wen we get hooked to dis man we don't know, wat we remember is our heart aching for dis man BARUN SOBTI.

U r so correct wen u say LM sir u have no ides wat monster u hv created bcoz dis monster has eaten up our RATON KI NEEND N DIN KA CHAIN.

Great post! I remember Barun in BHPH, like you he never really left an impression on me. He was just another actor but then IPKKND happened and I totally changed my opinion of him. Barun has really grown as an actor and really leaves an impact on viewers long after you watch an episode.

loved it ...i too noticed Barun in all the serials ...DMG ...then Sharadha (yes tht too...he looked nyc) ...then BHPH ...his character was too chirpy n unbalanced (my POV) ...but now in IPKKND (* i cudnt believe its the same Barun) ...now he's like the entirely different person ...deadly looks, voice expressive eyes ...n much more😳

ME too (sorry but cant help it ) ...in love wid him 😳
