Totally agree with you...as we all know that ASR is a very private person and doesn't indulge much in display of his emotions/feelings openly and we know that reason behind that as well!!😊

And where Khushi is concerned he is over-protective as well as over-possessive...So that why he wants to keep them in front of his eyes always if he feels they are in trouble
I wont say this is insecurity complex coz frankly I feel insecurity complex is kind of a negative feeling or sometimes leads to obsession, jisse hum junnon bhi kehtein hain!!!
I guess he felt that he would be more at peace if Khushi is in front of him...coz he was so afraid after that incidence that the mere thought of her being away from him was unimaginable to his peace of mind!!!
He loves her too much but he is still afraid to express that to Khushi...his mother's untimely death is very much the reason for this!!!
