I wasn't sure initially whether to post or not but I can't help but point out something which I thought was a MAJOR part of Maha episode today.
Parallels ' repetition of similar ArHi moments but this with a new meaning and perhaps more significance.❤️😍
As we all know their story is of the two extremes: love and hate. How these strong extremes dictact their relationship and its future. "Nafrat paas aane na de. Mohabbat door jaane na de"
It's a common saying (which google is giving me conflicting info. about who to credit to😆) that there is "thin line between love and hate"
I think today's episode was scattered with many ArHi moments that were a reference to previous moments but this time these moments highlighted the CHANGE in their relationship.
Whilst before "hate" ' dislike/anger/prejudice were the undertones of those scenes NOW after both have realised and semi-accepted their love for each other "love" becomes the true essence of those scenes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hate: Before there used to be tension, bitter awkwardness, anxiety and maybe mild disgust, unfair assumptions and prejudices ... Khushi's fear and hesitation in simply wiping off from his face and Arnav's glaring eyes.
Now there is a sense of familiarity, the way he half-heartily tells her not to laugh but his eyes light up at her laugh.😳
How he takes her scarf as to say "what's mine is yours" - a new sense of comfort, banter - her playful laughter which turns in to simply shock and mild irritation.😆 Love.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cruel, vicious and mean ASR taunting Khushi after the almost kiss, pushing her to edge, playing WITH her emotions and tearing her dignity.
A devious playful KKG playing ON Arnav's jealousy and testing his limit, mischievously taunting him as a gradually irritated/envious Arnav watches on. I love symmetry between these two scenes - both use envy as a way to test the love of the other. 😆
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Initially she instinctively shields her exposed back from him for protection. Sensing his immense and unfair dislike/hate for her,
But then his love for is what encourages him to playfully release her hair; he becomes her protection.
Yet his hate for another exploiting her innocence and his love for her pushing him to protect her again lead him to release her hair and protect her once again. A unique combination of love and hate working together.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An incomplete kiss because of wrong timing/lack of understanding/old prejudices/too much pride and simply hate for the love [ARNAV] felt for her.
The first kiss to tell and test .. an impulsive demonstrate his realisation and trigger her acceptance that yes, they're both in love.
The counter-part of that kiss which half intentionally yet maybe unintentionally confesses that the feeling is mutual. A kiss that happened naturally - one which Khushi returned as if it was second nature.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Due to uncontrollable situations and despite the hate and pretend indifference they displayed for each other - they always found themselves forced together.
Once again, history repeats - an exact parallel except this timelove dictates Arnav loosely trapping her in his arms.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Tum theek ho?" a line which has managed to creep into every major and significant ArHi moment. I think it might be just as important as "faraq partha hain"❤️😍
The first time he asks her after the "collapsing office" incident and a fiery/feisty Khushi replies back.
The first time she asks him is when she see's the glimpse of a pained, broken Arnav missing his mother.
There are many more scenes ... ❤️😍
Yet in this week - he's asked her the same question TWICE!
Has she realised yet? She's feeling the "dhak dhak" the which takes over when she's in his presence - has she figured out why?😆
But she throws the question back at him "Kya aap theek hain?" and flusters away. Arnav's response is to simply smirk.❤️😍
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just a few parallels from today's episode and ArHi's journey until now. You may have noticed more, feel free to add.😆
I think some sort of full circle/mirroring scenes/parallel work is going on in the CV's mind or why else would the Rabba Ve sequence which followed Teri Meri have been edited that way?❤️😍
If you've read all of this .. huge hug 🤗 -- comment and like if you agreed to any part, would love to read!
Much love
