Arnav stared up at his bare ceiling with his hands folded beneath his head, laying half covered under the comforter in his bed and unaffected by the loud drizzle and thunder brewing outside'. He found himself incapable to divert his thoughts from Khushi. He was aware of the time ticking away and yet the morning seemed deacades away..He wasn't able to understand the strong impression she had on him. After all, why was it that he only think of her? He'was acting like some kind of infatuated teenage boy'. What was wrong with him?
Khushi awoke feelings in him tht he had never felt before.She was the only woman who had made him loose his head...she was the only one who awoke sensations in him tht until he met her ,he never knew existed.Happiness,Anger,Affection,passion and jealousy...Yes..Arnav Singh raizada was jealousb'coz of tht stupid NK.His antics and stupidity was annoying but bearable but he felt horrible when he touched her and hugged his Khushi..what a horrible sight tht was..He felt a twinge of helplessness and misery...Wait a minute..did he just called her his Khushi..
"I must be losing my mind"he said to himself.
He closed his eyes with a sigh and the events of yesterday played in his mind like a film.
She was laughing with NK.NK n Khushi were practising for the sangeet performance and he hugged her after their perfect reheasal.It pierced his heart to even think of her with NK or anyone else for tht matter.He did'nt know why all of a sudden he hated the thought of her being with him.He wanted to punch him hard ..but controlled his urge to do so...How could she let him touch her.Arnav clenched his fists in anger and left immediatly.He did nt know but he was feeling angry,scared and lost.
Almost an hour later,when Khushi approched him as Anjali was calling Arnav..he was burning in rage and strolling like a caged lion in his room.He groaned in irritation and threw the vase away.Khushi was lil surprised to find him in his room as everyone was busy in Sangeet preprations.His back was facing her when she entered in his den.
"Arnav Ji..."He called his name happily...but he ignored her.
"Arnav ..J..." her words caught in her throat when he turned aroundthis time.for the first tme she saw a glimpse of sumthing different in his flashing black eyes.
He looked vunerable.
"What Happened..?her voice was barely above a whisper.
Within a moment Arnav pulled her close to him harshly and pinned her against the wall.She looked in his eyes with fear.He was looking at her with so much fire in his eyes,tht she felt her heart stop.His grip on her was tight.
"Yu r asking wht happened..Damn it.."he gritted his teeth.
" wht the hell yu were doing with NK..."
Khushi's eyes widened with shock.He was behaving so possesively.She wanted to ask him why he was behaving like this..but deep down in her heart she knew the Answer...
She tried to free herself frm his grip but he was not letting her.He wanted to punish her for making him miserable.He was close enough for her to feel his warm breath over her lips.A shiver ran down her spine.Slowly,she felt his fingers tracing up through the length of her bare arms.As he grasped her shoulders,he felt her body stiffen.He leaned and the distance between their faces was so less tht he could feel the heat frm her cheeks tht had turned red.She closed her eyes and held her breath. His lips touched hers, first softly and then fiercely'She crawled to him, like a moth to the flame.Her frozen body shattered into million sparks and everything inside her started melting at the burning touch of Arnav's lips against her own.The heat emitting frm his body collided with the flames in her body and everything started to burn with tht passion.
She moaned, a purely sensual experience with his lips caressing, his tongue stroking, his breath breaking in warm bursts against her skin.
Part of her wanted to gasp for breath and part of her wanted to stay breathless.Her mind was numb and senseless.She clutched his shirt as he pinned her against the wall with all his force.His lips crushed forcefully and urgently against hers..and then his tongue brushed teasingly over her lower lip.Sweetly,rhythmically his tongue touched and teased her until she could'nt take it anymore.
She brought her hand up to his chest and his heart beat wild collided with her own.His hand slowly slipped into her hair and his fingers tangled themselves in her delicate strands.He forced his mouth into her,increasing the rhythms of his burning tongue and everything inside her melted and she gave up.Nothing was in her control.
He explored her mouth teasingly,until she slipped her fingers in his hair pulling him more closer.Khushi felt her body relaxing in the agonizingly uncomfortable way.There was hardly any air betwenn them but he kept coming closer and closer.He held her tight, and applied every bit of his expertise in seducing her mouth. He did not stop until she was clinging to his neck, her whole body trembling in his arms. He swore he could feel her heart pounding through the fabric of her dress.Suddenly,He dragged his mouth from hers, knowing that if he didn't catch his breath right now, he was a goner. He'd strip Khushi where she stood and show her exactly how much he wanted to make love to her. Forcing his eyes to open, he found her watching him. For a moment they stood facing each other, both flushed and breathless.
He was hearing her heartbeat...Or was that his own heart? Damned if he knew anymore. He had'nt meant it to go this far.He did'nt know wht overcame him.Abruptly He left and she was left standing in his room, dazed, bemused and stunned...
Khushi avoided him after their brutal n passionate encounter.He always made her nervous..but now she was more concerned abt their Bet.She tried her best with her family to beat raizadas.All the time during function ..she felt his eyes on her.He unnerved her.She shrugged her nervousness and started getting ready for the final performance of the evening..tht was Hers n NK's.She was going to give her best as she could'nt afford losing frm her laad governer.
His eyes were searching when he found her approaching the stage.Her back was turned to him. All he could see was a curtain of black shining sleek hair that cascaded to her slim waist. The transparent Green sari, draped gracefully around her perfect shape. When she moved her hair swung aside, revealing a tiny green blouse, slightly moving to reveal her smooth peachy skin. When she turned ,she took his breath away...How can anyone look so alluring,sensous and cute...
The atmosphere was romantic with the moonlight and star-filled sky above their heads. The Song was wonderful. The singing voices were soft and playing with the strings of their hearts.
As the spotlight hit her n her partner..she was shocked to see him beside her. He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close to him..
As her eyes met his, she felt the now-familar tingling deep in her being.Her eyes quickly moved apart and looked away, as his gaze particularly lingered on her slightly trembling lips, tiny beads of sweat glistening on her forehead...Slowly, they began to dance. Very gently, romantically, swiftly and soberly.
The sensation was wonderful. They were communicating with their eyes...The way he was looking at her was making her insides melt, her heart beat fast, and her clothing feel much too tight...His hands were alll over her back...
She was lost in her own world when she felt his hand on the her back n a click sound.He unhooked her blouse.She looked at his face with her wide eyes.
He was smiling dangerously and whispered.."I won baby.."
She was shocked beyong words.While dancing,she almost forgot their bet...but now,everything made sense to her.She never expected Arnav to be this naughty.He tricked her as he knew she could'nt dance in this position.Without wasting a second more ,she left abruplty leaving everyone confused.
"Everything is fair in love and war..."he whispered and smirked proudly.
Khushi mentally kicked herself for falling in his trap...she felt like a fool.How could he do this..
His family congratulated him for winning ..but his mind was stuck sumwhere else...He excused himself frm the crowd to take a call and reached at his favourite poolside area,when her voice startled him.
"What the hell was tht..Mr Raizada.."she asked sarcastically.she was mad and tht was evident frm her face.
"what...I do'nt knw wht yu r talking abt..." he answered smilingly.and his answer pissed her off..
"oh my my.. Khushi kumri gupta is scared..."he teased her.
"Scared and me...stop dreaming Mr raizada..."she retorted back.
"yes yu r..."he again taunted her...she huffed in annoyance.
"well..if yu r scared..tell me,i'll leave yu without asking anything..."he provoked her.
"I do'nt need tht..."she hissed.
"wht I've to do..."she glared at him.
"Okay...yu lost the bet...so.."he grinned without giving her a chance to answer.
He knew very well tht she was angry and mad so,he decided to let her go with sumthing simple...B'coz wht he had done on stage was enough to drive her crazy.He knew it was wrong,but he liked to see her when she was testy like this.
"just apologise to me Khushi..and admit yur defeat...then yu can leave..."
"huh"?she was taken aback by his arrogant remark.he was so damn full of himself.
"laad governer kahin ka.."she cursed him.
she stared at him for a moment.Annoyed with the fact tht he cheated n on top of tht he had the audacity to ask her for an apology.
"fine" there was a strange determination in her voice.
"but on one condition..."he was surprised tht she was nt fighting back.
"I do'nt think losers can propose conditions..but,I'm giving yu tht benefit..shoot..."he replied in a mocking tone.
She gritted her teeth..Damn him..Laad Governer..
"I'll apologise the way i like and if yu touched me or told me to stop..then yu'll be loser..not me..."she said as a quiet laughter danced around in her eyes.
He was honestly confused..In the back of his mind,he thought she was scared frm his touch n grinned...then without giving it much thought..he nodded in agreement.
She smiled beautifully.Now,the ball was in her court.If he could make her feel miserable..its his turn now.If he played games..now it was her turn.He ought to know tht he messed with Khushi kumari Gupta...
With few graceful steps,She drew herself closer to him,covering the distance between them...a flicker of confusion flashed in his eyes.
He did'nt back or move when she reached him..They were so close tht she could feel his breathing unsteady and she helped herself not to smirk.she gathered her guts,ready to play.She gripped the collar of his shirt and pulled him.He stared at her in disbelieve..his whole body stiffened.He seemed nervous.IF she made him nervous..she was shaking too..she had already experianced how dangerous their physical closure was..but she tried not to show any sign of weakness.. He closed his eyes as he felt her breath against his face. Soft and hot, just the way he liked it. Then she kissed him ''''.. on his cheek '''.. softly but slowly.
and without closing her eyes..she crushed her lips right at the corner of his chin..just a point away frm his lips.Controlling her shakiness..she moved along his jaw line..their cheeks brushed as she reached up to his earlobe..
Arnav clenched his fists tightly.It took all his strength to control the urge of kissing her back.
"sto..p..."he almost yelled in his broken voice.
Goofily she pulled herself frm him...Even though she was shaking frm inside she did'nt let him know...His face was bewildered.Again she leaned forward..
"I won Mr. raizada..."She whispered...her eyes gleamed evilly...
she breathed heavily,looking at him with a dangerous amusement in her eyes.A triumphant smile flicked across her lips.
"Everything is fair in love and war..."she whispered haughtily..and left before he could react.
He was flabbergasted.Her walk was satisfying.She had clearly shown him..how naughty n seductive she can be..Why the hell he reacted tht way?His own heart betrayed him..It acted on its own..could she feel how vunerable he felt...Damn!!!!!!!
